For the club's name, Wufu and Jun Wenqi had a verbal sparring match, back and forth, and still couldn't decide. Instead, it was Master Gui who settled on one from their argument.
"How about we name it Purple Yu Garden?" Master Gui said, "Purple naturally brings to mind the saying 'auspicious purple air comes from the east,' symbolizing prestige. Yu describes a place big enough, and our garden fits the bill!"
Everyone recited the name once; it sounded acceptable. Wufu didn't really mind much. As long as the club becomes famous, what does the name matter? What's important is the service and taste inside the club, that's what brings pride.
After unanimously deciding on the name, a plaque still needed to be made. Master Gui looked at Wufu and said, "I heard Old Master Meng's calligraphy is exceptional. If we could get him to personally write for us…"
