POV: Luan
As soon as I got home, I ate something and went to my room. When I entered, I found Hestia sleeping. She had probably already finished reading and was resting now.
I sat on the bed beside her and gently began to stroke her hair.
After seeing the child I had with Freya being born, I can't wait for the child growing in Hestia's belly to be born as well. If I already feel this way after having a child with Freya, just imagine how I'll feel when my child with Hestia is born.
Although people say that all parents love their children equally… I highly doubt that's true.
"Mm… Luan?" Hestia opened her eyes.
"What happened?"
"Nothing. I saw you sleeping and felt like touching your hair."
"I see. You can keep going, it feels nice~~"
"All right," I said, continuing to stroke her hair. After doing that for a little longer, Hestia fell asleep again. I smiled and stood up. I went to the bathroom to take a shower, and I felt the urge to go back to the Freya Familia's home.
It hasn't been long since I last saw my son, but I already want to see him again. I miss him.
'Going there once a day should be enough.'
But I feel guilty doing that. Freya will have to take care of our child almost by herself, and I won't be very present in his life. Even if I visit for two hours a day, it's not enough.
My child with Freya is different from an ordinary human child.
He's clearly developing much faster. He was just born, and he's already able to speak.
'But isn't that better?'
Since he grows faster and is far more intelligent than a normal child, if Freya and I explain the situation to him in the near future, he'll understand. I just don't know how we'll do that…
I smiled bitterly and continued my shower, thinking about my son every second.
When I left the bathroom, Hestia was still sleeping.
"I'm hungry," I muttered before leaving the room.
I'm not really in the mood to cook, so I'll go to the Hostess of Fertility and buy something to eat.
Now that I think about it, I still haven't paid for the damage I caused to the restaurant.
I'll take the opportunity to talk to Mia.

When I arrived at the restaurant, some people recognized me and greeted me, and a few even asked for my autograph. I signed some autographs and then sat down, asking one of the waitresses to call Mia.
Of course, I also ordered food and drinks.
After a few minutes, Mia appeared. I still can't get used to her muscular appearance. It's very eye-catching.
"It's been a long time since you came here. I thought you were running away."
"I wouldn't run away. I just forgot. How much did you spend fixing the tables and what was broken? I'll pay for everything."
"…" Mia smiled and then said, "It's fine. You don't need to do anything. Just your presence is enough."
"My presence?"
"Yes, look." She pointed toward the restaurant entrance.
I saw several people entering the restaurant. They all came toward me to greet me. Some were about to leave, but others stayed after smelling the food.
They must be thinking, 'If the author eats here, the food must be really good.'
"I didn't realize I was drawing this much attention," I said with a bitter laugh.
"Then don't worry too much about what happened… But I'm a little curious. What happened between you and Ottar? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"It was nothing serious. We had a disagreement over a woman, that's all." I didn't mention Freya's name, but it was enough to catch Mia's attention, as well as that of some nearby customers who knew me.
"A woman? You and Ottar fought over a woman? I can't believe it."
"Don't think too much about it. We already settled things. I talked to him."
"I see." Still looking curious, Mia said goodbye and went back to the kitchen.
A few minutes later, my food was served, and I ate in silence. Fortunately, no one bothered me. My readers only approached me after I had finished eating.
At least they have some sense of respect.
I talked with a few readers and then left the restaurant feeling quite satisfied.
I left a large tip for the waitress who served me. She looked very happy.
Once outside, I ran into an alley and activated my teleportation skill. I teleported to Freya's throne room, but she wasn't there.
"It's been a few hours since I came back home. She's probably resting by now."
Before leaving earlier, Freya had looked very tired. I think accelerating the pregnancy put a heavy strain on her body.
"I'll go to her room, then."
I teleported to her bedroom.
As soon as I arrived, I found Freya sleeping peacefully on the bed. Our son was lying beside her, but he wasn't asleep. He was staring at the ceiling while moving his arms and legs.
I approached the bed, and he turned to look at me.
"Papa!" he said as he began to crawl across the bed.
"You can already do that? My god, you're so cute!" I even changed my tone of voice while talking to him.
He laughed happily, and I picked him up.
I started tossing him gently into the air as he laughed.
After playing with him for a while, I hugged him. He was already wearing the clothes I bought. They looked a little small, but they suited him very well.
"Mom is very tired, isn't she?" When he heard my words, he looked at Freya, who was sleeping peacefully.
"Mama…" he said as he stretched his arms toward her.
I placed him on the bed beside her.
He clung to Freya and then used his tiny hands to touch her face. He squeezed her nose.
I laughed, and Freya opened her eyes.
She hadn't noticed I was in the room. She looked at our son, who was staring at her, and smiled.
"What is it? Are you hungry again?"
"Cough… cough…"
"Oh? Luan? When did you get here?"
"A long time ago," I said, sitting down on the bed. "Are you tired?"
"Yes, very." She closed her eyes, ready to fall asleep again.
