Yu'Keto lifted his head slightly. "Pardon?"
Alister placed a hand against his jaw, his expression turning thoughtful. "I believe we agreed that if your approach did not yield results, we would proceed with mine."
Yu'Keto hesitated, conflict flickering across his features. "But… that was only one city."
Alister's gaze sharpened, his voice calm yet absolute. "I do not recall ever saying I would grant you the opportunity to try your approach on multiple cities."
Alister's voice remained steady as he continued. "Furthermore, you told me you intended to negotiate. From what you have reported, it seems that negotiation did not proceed as planned, and you were forced to resort to… coercion."
