Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: An Established Paradox

The reincarnated soul within Nobita understood the thrill that he could experience in such a life.

On January 1st, Nobita pulled out a chair in the middle of his room, waiting patiently for his friend to arrive.

The clock ticked, and his breath was the only sound that could be heard. As he read his comic, he heard the faint opening of his drawer.

A drawer opening by itself? Anyone else would have thought of a spirit, but this was something else. Nobita could only chuckle.

Magicians may pull doves and rabbits out of their hats, but no one would ever imagine a blue, round head coming out of a desk drawer.

The blue creature looked at the boy sitting in the room, staring at him as if his arrival was anticipated.

"Welcome. I have been expecting you, visitor from the future." The boy said and this left this visitor speechless.

"I am Nobita Nobi. Who might you be?" He asked and the blue creature jumped out of the desk.

"My name is Doraemon. I am a robot from the 22nd century. I was sent here by your great-great-grandson Sewashi Nobi to help you." Doraemon said, and Nobita chuckled.

The timeline went around and still arrived at the point of Doraemon's arrival. Was this a fact established in the timeline? He might have to look into this matter first.

Nobita nodded and went closer inspecting Doraemon with a scientific curiosity. "You are not shocked?" Doraemon asked in confusion and Nobita laughed.

"Still to think bio-automations have grown to such a state in a span of a century and a half is surprising. However this arises a lot of theories." Nobita paused and then continued.

"Does you arriving here, trigger the development of robotics? Or does the development of robotics create the possibility of you being here? It's the chicken and egg all over again. Except in this case, you are the chicken and egg, both. Quite the paradox isn't it?" Nobita said and for some reason Doraemon had a foul foreboding.

'This is going to be one hell of an experience.' Doraemon shuddered at the possibilities that Nobita's perceptive brain could bring.

For an hour or two, Nobita absolutely grilled Doraemon for information regarding himself and creating a small storage box labelled Doraemon and creating a checklist of items.

1. A complete guide to rules of space-time.

2. A list of Doraemon's upcoming maintenance checks.

3. The Future Departmental Store - Past gadget manuals.

4. A complete manual of Doraemon's circuits and machinery.

5. A dietary preference and a complete set of rules and regulations.

6. A guide to Time Machine Operation.

'This boy is very meticulous. No wonder Sewashi's carefree personality seems to be at odds against him' Doraemon thought and sighed.

However, to explain that they would be having another resident would be something different.

It took almost a day to explain the situation to his parents and Nobita successfully convinced his parents with exciting incentives such as a Doraemon being a free household butler without a pay which convinced them.

With this Nobita's mother Tamako Nobi could take a break from household chores and his father Nobisuke could take a break from heavy office work since Doraemon could handle basic analysis and help him with work as well.

"You are one hell of a negotiator Nobita." Doraemon said and Nobita grinned shaking his head. "It's about the psyche Doraemon. If you understand what the other person wants, that's the leverage you have against them. It's psychology 101. Maybe I should write a book on psychology. That would at least get me money." He said and Doraemon was speechless.

"Got a gadget that can help me translate my thoughts to words without me actually having to write it? Would save time and the pain." He said and the futuristic robot was completely helpless.

Thus came the birth of the book 'Psychology 101' whose contents even baffled Doraemon with detailed research and case studies done through interviewing people. It was so methodical and precise that no one would believe a teenager wrote it. Hence it was marketed under the pen name - 'IBON' which translated to Freedom in the filipino and tagalog scripts!

Also, it was just Nobi spelt backwards. Doraemon just did not know whether this boy was lazy or was being creative. Within a span of a week, this boy played him and made a book.

Admitting defeat, Doraemon just let Nobita be. Perhaps Sewashi's visit might give him some insights into Nobita.

Nobita jotted down on his calendar. Sewashi was supposed to drop by during these days. Maybe it's time for him to try to understand his great great grandson better.

His life was definitely getting spiced up. The more he thought of what he would do, the more he grinned.

But hell yeah, he was going to squeeze this robot dry and make himself a ton of money.

'Hahaha', Nobita was laughing in his head unaware that the face he was making scared Doraemon making him worry.

Maybe this Nobita was just a evil genius!

(P.S As the author of his life, even I am an evil genius! From a rubber brain to a mastermind! Muhahaha)
