Chapter 397 - 397. It’s a plane… It’s a bird… It’s a plane-bird

After Ash got his initial Pikachu from Professor Oak, he now got an Eevee again.

Before, he had received Pokémon Eggs as rewards from the Professor, but this time he directly got a powerful looking Eevee.

Ash has encountered Eevee more than just a few times during his long journey. He even helped his girlfriend catch one when she went to Fula City.

Eevee has a total of eight evolutionary paths, but for Ash, who has the Light Force (this is Neczorma's power), Eevee's most powerful ability is definitely its exclusive Z-Move.

All those beautiful colors gathered in one place for an ultimate boost.

But the price of this exclusive Z-Crystal was too high, and so Ash really didn't dare to think about buying one now.

Otherwise, the 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt, exclusive to Ash-Pikachu with the Pikashunim Z should be the best choice.

In short, now that he has an Eevee, Ash will definitely do his best to raise it.

Which line will it evolve in the end? Or, like Pikachu, may he not evolve at all and wait for its exclusive Z-Move. That is Eevee's own choice. Ash, like always, will only guide it, but never force.

That's how the stubborn Bulbasaur and Squirtle evolved into their final form, even if it was Slowking being their primary psychologist.

"It's an Eevee, so cute!" May and Max have always liked Eevee. But this Eevee did not seem to be shy at all, but was much more confident.

She shook her head and lay lazily at Ash's feet. Maybe the reason Ash and this Eevee have a good Bond Value directly from the start is because of their nature, being overly confident because they can back it up.

Ash let Pikachu give Eevee the systematic rundown of how things worked around these blocks, while he looked at Misty, "I hope you can witness the evolution of this little guy, Misty."

With that said, Ash immediately took out the Shiny Stone he got from Ciel a while back.

The Shiny Stone produced and given by Ciel is like a jewel of extremely high quality, with excellent texture. After taking it out, Togetic, who had been held in Misty's arms since she came back, suddenly became very delighted and flew to her trainer's side in excitement.

Togetic needs to use the Shiny Stone to evolve. In addition, Pokémon like Drew's Roselia can also use the Shiny Stone to evolve into the powerful and beautiful Roserade.

In fact, Ash had already planned to evolve Togetic, but he wanted to return to the Kanto Region after his trip to the Hoenn Region and go to Cerulean City Gym to find Misty. He believed that Misty would never want to miss this, ever.

"You're saying it was Togetic who wanted to evolve first?" Misty was stunned for a moment. She knew that Togetic must have sensed something in that shiny looking stone to react like this, but she didn't think it was an Evolutionary Stone.

To her, it felt just like yesterday when her cute little Togepi evolved in that desert area to help her kind out, and now so soon she'll be evolving again.

Hopefully she'll remain the same little one she remembers after evolving again, that was Misty's greatest hope.

"Let her see your growth and your true form," Ash murmured, watching Togetic gently hold the Shiny Stone.

The gentle light of evolution suddenly enveloped Togetic's whole body. Under the surprised gazes of May and Max, its figure began to change dramatically.

White fluffy feathers grew out, and the head began to divide into three bunches of feathers like the Togetic's one, but bigger. The original short arms disappeared, and the small wings grew into huge and broad triangular wings.

The light shattered, and the evolved form—Togekiss—appeared in front of Misty. Looking at the current form of her previously doted child, tears filled her eyes.

It has an avian-like form, but it has an oval-shaped body and no bird's beak. She was a mix of all kinds of cuteness.

There are also the blue and red triangular spots under the abdomen, which is the symbol of the Togepi line, and the feather crest on the head is also configured with one red and one blue on either side.

After Ash training and the blessing of the Shiny Stone given by the lovely and kind and beautiful Ciel, the evolved Togekiss has grown to a height of 1.8 meters and overall was very powerful.

Name: Togekiss

Type(s): Fairy, Flying

Ability: Serene Grace (Thanks to this Ability, the additional effects of moves are much more likely to happen.)

Bond Value: 250/250

Skills: Air Slash, Fairy Wind, Sweet Kiss, Play Rough, Charm, Safeguard, Random Bullshit GO, Extreme Speed, Aura Sphere…

Ash was very excited when he saw the skill list. As expected, the evolved Togekiss learned to use the skills of Extreme Speed and Aura Sphere.

This little one's strength immediately improved by leaps and bounds, and now she was fully capable of challenging and beating Noctowl and Swellow, and putting up some fight against Pidgeot and Zapdos.

With him being an all-around Trainer, Ash got another very powerful Flying-type Pokémon.

[Yeah, I can already see Lance seething in rage!] Ciel commented offhandedly before going to rest again. Well, even if she was a System, after what she and Ash did last night… yeah.

May subconsciously took out the Pokémon Pokédex, but there was no information on it. "Is it broken?"

"May, Misty, this is Togekiss, known as the blessing Pokémon. It is said that Togekiss will visit peaceful places without disputes and bring various benefits there. Since a long time ago, people have regarded it as a lucky thing." Ash happily read off the information that Ciel had installed in him.

"Toge… kiss..." Misty murmured the name and walked forward slowly.

Togekiss, however, decided that was too slow and flapped her wings and rushed over to hug Misty. She finally gained enough size to be able to hug Misty fully.

Misty nestled in its arms, "Togekiss… so gentle."

This scene made May and Max quietly wipe the tears from their eyes. Ash gently patted Misty's back and stood with them.

Togekiss was the result of Ash and Misty, she was in a way their love child.

Misty finally raised her head to look at Ash and said seriously, "Ash, thank you!"

{Me: and they kissed and they lived happily together forever.}

Ash decided it's best to let Misty and Togekiss stay together for a little while, with Wobbuffet and Castform bringing the two some delicious snacks they made.

He on the other hand took May and Max to find his Pokémon.

This backyard has been completely under Slowking and Venusaur. Even if Professor Oak himself wants to intervene in management, he will have to beg them as the Pokémon no longer trust his judgment.

"Wow, Sis, look at them! Are all these Tauros yours Big Bro?" Ash looked at the Tauros running over and exclaimed, but May beside him turned pale.

"They don't seem to be slowing down at all!" May was really scared, tightening herself on Ash.

But with gentle blue light shining in Ash's eyes, he threw the two of them up, and he also jumped onto the back of Tauros No. 12.

Tauros (No. 12): 244/255

"Old friend, take us to find the rest!" Ash casually threw May and Max onto the backs of his main Tauros' two mates and used his Psychic Force to help stabilize them.

After a while, the adventurous May was the first to cheer, but Max was still screaming like he was about to die.

In the largest pond, Blastoise, Feraligatr, two powerful and large Water-type Royal Starters, were going at it tag-team to battle the crimson Gyarados. It was with such constant fierce battles that Gyarados' strength continued to approach Ash's strongest lineup.

Milotic meanwhile was in the middle of a fight with his Sharpedo. This battle between them was truly beautiful against the beast.

Kingler and Crawdaunt were also at it, fighting near the shore. Well, more like Kingler was teaching Crawdaunt what a true Crabhammer was by beating the living crap out of it.

"Roar!"

Seeing Ash coming over, they all looked up to the sky and spit up the water column. At this moment, the sky was filled with rainbows.

And this also alerted the rest of Ash's nearby Pokémon, and all of a sudden they were surrounding him in large numbers.

The Flying-type was fastest with them being Pidgeot, Zapdos, Swellow, Noctowl, and the recently caught Murkrow.

Breloom and Sceptile retracted their fists and blades, turned to the direction of the rainbow, smiled at each other, and disappeared suddenly. Scizor looked annoyed at them escaping his help, but he too joined them a second later.

Meganium, who was basking in the sun next to them, suddenly opened her eyes and ran over happily.

Under the rockery in the distance, the terrifying vibrations stopped. The battle between the Rhyperior and Aggron calmed down, and with Tyranitar, all took heavy steps and walked toward the central area. The usually peaceful Flygon just laughed at them while Donphan rolled down the mountain.

Absol, Manectric, and the three Legendary Beasts were also there in an instant.

According to what Muk told Ash after his happy hug, the three of them just returned after from their weekly work under Ho-Oh.

Blaziken deflected Hitmonlee's Jump Kick with a Blaze Kick of its own, and since both of them took their Macho Braces off, their figures disappeared in a flash.

The very calm and definitely never angry Annihilape nodded and disappeared with them. Looks like he still had to teach the two rookies not to run away from their gentle teacher.
