"If anyone else goes, they won't be lured out," Fu Ya said, burying her head in Liu Ergou's embrace again. "Er Gou, let's stop talking for now. I need to rest. Just remember to wake me tonight, and I'll take you with me."
Liu Ergou wanted to say he understood, but just as he was about to speak, he heard the sound of steady breathing. Looking down, he saw Fu Ya had already fallen asleep. Seeing this, he said nothing more and just sat there quietly.
「Time flew by, and soon it was 8 p.m.」
Fu Ya woke up right on time.
When she opened her eyes and saw the pitch-black sky outside, she grew flustered.
"Oh no, how did I sleep so long!"
Turning to Liu Ergou, she pouted. "I slept for so long, and you didn't even wake me. You're awful! I don't like you anymore!"
Liu Ergou was bewildered. What does this have to do with me? How did I get dragged into this? Besides, she's a patient. It's perfectly normal for her to be drowsy. She needs more sleep to recover faster.
