Thoughts flood my mind as i stand at the door. I turn back to my mother and father in the car and give them a wave. They wave back and i watch them drive off into the distance. My heart suddenly drops down into my ass. what will they think of me? Will they like me? Will i get bullied? Will i become popular? i wasn't sure.. i turn back to the school door and take a deep breath . i was highly popular at my old school . if i just make a good first impression on my teachers and classmates. I could make it through the day.. right??
l boldly walk into the school and my eyes widen. right off the bat i see kids yelling and running and playing, it wasn't anything i wasn't used to.. the kids at my old school were way worse. I made eye contact with this girl, she looked mean. but i had to remember, my mother told me not to judge anyone off of their looks. i tried not to, it doesn't really work out for me. I make a sharp turn into the office and i see two older ladies at the front desk. I give them my name and they hand me my schedule. Then, a boy walks into the office and stands beside me. One of the ladies stand up and walk over to us. "Well…uhh" she looks at me as if she was trying to remember my name. "it's Faith." i say. "right, Faith, meet Messiah, he will be showing you around and to your classes." she says with a big smile on her face. I turn to him to get a better look at him, and wow. This boy is a total geek. He is wearing yellow overalls, Big shoes, Big glasses, a yellow beanie, and his voice?? ugh. just the worst. He turns to me and gives me a big friendly wave. "Hello fellow student! i can't wait for you to get the education experience here at this wonderful school.. Shall we begin the tour?" He says. Damn, this kid spits a lot. "sure..haha." i say shyly. "well, run along children!!" the lady says. Messiah smiles with all his teeth and he turns and walks out the office, I just follow along behind him. He brings me all the way on the other side of the building, eventually i get really tired. "hey..messiah are we there yet? i feel like we passed my class minutes ago.. and we are all the way in the back of the school!" i say while walking sluggishly behind him. he doesn't say a word. instead, he walks into a dark classroom. I just follow in behind him, When i walk in i immediately crash onto a chair to rest. The next minute i look up, there is messiah, taking off his beanie, overalls, and that big dumb look on his face. My jaw DROPPED. "what the hell? what was all that shit in the office about?" i say loudly. "and you won't tell any administration, got it?" he says firmly. His voice was wayy deeper this time, and it was kinda soothing.. "wait..aren't you gonna give me any context? why did you act like that in the office? with the nerd clothes and voice?" i say, "so i can get benefits in everything, those people in the office are fucking dumb." he says while slowly walking towards me, now, he's in a black shirt, black baggy jeans, and his dreads are covering his face. i didn't even realize he had dreads because they were put up in that hideous fucking beanie. "and you aren't gonna say a word, ok?" he says while pushing his finger in my face. "well that depends..if you would get your fucking finger out my face.." he chuckles sarcastically. "cmon..i still gotta give you a tour" i had just sat down and i really didn't want to get back up .. but he dragged me along anyway. he was kinda cool, he was a dickhead, but he was cool.
