She bent down to pick up the quilt and patted it, but couldn't get rid of the footprints on it. Night Shadow had just been called to the Internal Affairs Office for registration, and when she came back, she saw Wei Anning standing in the corridor holding the quilt, lost in thought, and walked over quickly.
"Miss Anning, what happened to the quilt?"
Wei Anning said, "The quilt is wet, I need to find a place to dry it, otherwise I won't be able to use it tonight."
Night Shadow took the quilt and said, "I'll find a place to dry it, you go back and rest first, I'll be right back."
"Okay." Wei Anning watched Night Shadow leave, then turned around and went back into the sleeping quarters. She knew that there were countless people in the Palace waiting to see her make a fool of herself, or to play tricks on her. She didn't care; enduring hardship is the way to rise above others.
Although she thought this, she didn't know why her heart felt so burdened.
