Wei Anning returned to the Duke Mansion and ran into Eden who was out for a walk. They exchanged glances, and Wei Anning proceeded towards the castle. Eden took a few steps and called out to her from behind.
"Anning."
Wei Anning stopped and looked back at Eden, asking, "What's wrong?"
Eden looked like she wanted to say something but hesitated, she shook her head, "Nothing, go on inside."
Wei Anning turned and walked into the castle. After taking a few steps, she suddenly recalled her conversation with Leng Youchen and understood Eden's dilemma. Without waiting for her to ask, she turned back, looked at her, and said, "Leng Youchen went to the police station to bail out Lu Feng this morning. Were you with Lu Feng last night?"
"Who was with him?" Eden pursed her lips, feeling uneasy under Wei Anning's penetrating gaze.
She said, "I went for a walk."
Wei Anning smiled without saying a word; it seemed Eden's spring was arriving soon.
