Griar could tell that he was going to lose consciousness soon–He had very good resilience, and his mana augmentation was actually very good at increasing his defences further, this was why he fought with a boxing style in the first place… However, he soon realised something about Frenand. The undead did have something a bit special about him. Namely, the more consecutive hits he was landing, the stronger his attacks seemed to become.
The corpse's mana augmentation was being pushed past its limits with every strike that landed… This should be something that Griar was capable of interfering with using his battle art, but right now, doing so would mean giving up on nullifying the effects of Frenand's protective item, and currently, the fact that he was using his own death force to shield himself from the life mist was a lifesaver for Griar.
