Today was lesson day, but instead of the classroom, they were on a bridge right above a river not too far from their mansion.

Avner proudly held his stomach, where the energy was supposed to be.
" Take your hands off your stomach. "

And he did just that.
" So how is this place going to help me? Should I try connecting with nature or something? "
Avner looked at her, and Nephthys looked back at him. A small smirk appeared on her lips.
Oh, oh… that can't be a good sign.
Avner knew something bad was about to happen after seeing her look at him like that.
And he was sadly right…

Nephthys pushed him off the bridge and into the water.
Avner swam back to the surface and looked straight at her.
" Why did you do that? It's freezing outside! "
Nephthys looked down at him from the bridge.
" So you do know how to swim. What a shame. "
" What do you mean by tha— "
Avner couldn't finish his sentence because he was suddenly pulled underwater. He looked down at his leg to see what was pulling him, only to find something unexpected. It was water—he was being dragged down by water. Something… snake-like, made entirely of water, that refused to let go of his leg.
Is she the one doing this?
While still trapped in the river, Avner could see his master's reflection. She looked as composed as ever, even as he was drowning. His consciousness began to fade. He was dying.
But just when he thought it was over, a bright light surrounded the water snake and shattered it, freeing his leg. He was finally able to swim back to the surface—but his body wouldn't move.
Avner closed his eyes.
