Chapter 5: The Sadist Queen!
Itachi was back in Ajuka's lab along with Serafall, Sirzechs, Rias and Sona were even there. Ajuka was inspecting Itachi's eyes with the same machine, he had the goggles on and the computer had an image of his eyes and his head in virtual form, with numbers going down on the side of the screen. Rias and Sona had a look of concern, as when Serafall had declared that she would take Itachi to Ajuka's lab to examine his eyes, the two young girls had declared that they would come with them. And Sirzechs tagged along because he had an interest in what was going on and what Itachi's eyes were if they weren't a Sacred Gear.
"Hmm, they have evolved even further, they seem to carry even more power now than ever before. But it still doesn't seem to be the end of it, like there is more for you to evolve." Ajuka analyzed and tapped on the keyboard. "It's clear that it's not a Sacred Gear, nor does it seem to be a mutation of any kind."
"Ajuka-sama, is onii-sama going to be alright? H-He is not in danger or anything, right?" Sona asked with her voice filled with concern.
"Yeah, is he going to be alright?" Rias also asked with her voice filled with an equal amount of concern.
"He doesn't appear to show any sign of being in pain or in danger, it seems to work like any normal spell, he uses it and it drains some of his magic power and energy. Maybe this is something he was specially born with, maybe some God or another all-powerful creature decided to give it to him, or it could be the start of a new type of demonic power-" Ajuka kept analyzing when suddenly he stopped and looked like he came to realize something. "Of course! Why didn't I think of it before?!" Ajuka instantly began typing something into the computer and everyone looked at him in confusion, even Itachi started to wonder what was happening as he could not see because of the goggles over his eyes.
"What do you mean, Ajuka?" Sirzechs questioned watching his close friend looking really intrigued about whatever he had just figured out.
"Ajuka-chan! Don't leave us in the dark! Have you figured out something about It-tan's eyes?" Serafall questioned as she didn't like to be kept out of something that involved her younger sibling.
"Aha! I thought so!" Ajuka said glaring into the computer as a DNA line from Itachi was on the computer screen with a few parts zoomed in upon.
"What? What is it?!" Rias questioned getting a little annoyed of not knowing what was going on, and Sona shared the same feeling.
"This! Look! It's all over his DNA, we have just witnessed the birth of maybe a new demonic power for the Sitri family. Whatever that eye is, it will go down from generation to generation, meaning his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren etc. will inherit this power from him!" Ajuka said pointing at various points in Itachi's DNA.
Itachi began to feel a little concerned, that would mean that his future children might need to take each other's eyes just to not get blind from overusing the mangekyou if they ever were to achieve it. It could once again create an endless circle of hatred. He didn't want that, he didn't want such a fate for his future children and grandchildren. No, maybe with the advanced technology and with magic, maybe, just maybe he could find a way to prevent that kind of fate, by providing his future children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a way to prevent them from going blind if they were ever to achieve the mangekyou.
"So, what you're saying, is that future generations of the Sitri family will have these eyes?" Serafall asked as she looked closer on the screen herself.
"Hmm, maybe, we should check Sona if she has this kind of DNA in her as well. It could only be for Itachi and his future offspring." Ajuka said and they all looked over to the youngest of the Sitri siblings.
"So-tan sit right here!" Serafall said pointing at a chair next to Itachi's.
"I get it, onee-sama, I will do it." Sona sat down and removed her glasses. Ajuka then brought out a second pair of the goggles and placed them over Sona's eyes. And then on the computer screen which got divided in two popped up a virtual image of Sona's eyes and head with numbers going down the screen.
"Okay, let's see what we got here." Ajuka began typing the keyboard and a line of Sona's DNA popped up on the screen. "Hmm, strange."
"What?" Sirzechs questioned and with Serafall and Rias looked closer at the screen.
"Well, it seems she doesn't have it. In fact… when I compare their DNA, their very different. I mean Itachi and Sona are siblings and they do have the same parents, but when I look at this, it's very strange. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's almost like Itachi has a third parent." Ajuka said and everyone looked at him in confusion, besides Itachi whom figured why it was like this with his parents and the Sitri DNA the being that brought him back must have mixed in his old Uchiha DNA so that he could have the sharingan in the first place.
"That sounds insane. How can he have three parents? Sona was born at the same time as him it shouldn't be possible." Serafall said and it was indeed true, but because that Itachi was reborn by another all-powerful being and he had requested his old blood line power, it was only natural that it was different.
"It could be because he has this power, maybe it just changes his DNA. So, I guess these eyes are some kind of mutation after all. Which would explain why he is the only one in the Sitri family history to have these kinds of eyes. But it is strange, if it is a mutation Sona should have it as well, but she does not. Twins, yet only one twin is born with a special power. Very interesting…" Ajuka rubbed his chin while still looking at the screen.
"So, bottom line, these eyes Itachi have are some kind of mutation, and his future offspring will inherit this power, and he is in no sort of danger." Sirzechs summed up the information Ajuka had given him.
"Sounds about right." Ajuka said and removed the goggles from both Sona and Itachi. Itachi looked over at Sona whom had a look that Itachi recognized, he had seen that look in Sasuke whenever their father would praise Itachi and not Sasuke. She felt inferior to Itachi, no not just Itachi but Serafall as well. She felt like the weakest link in the family. He hated seeing that look, he wanted to comfort her but he wasn't sure how.
"Still, what was it that Itachi did to Sairaorg?" Sirzechs questioned.
"I don't know, why not ask him?" Ajuka said and they all looked over to Itachi.
"I placed him in an illusion to make him fall asleep, that's all." Itachi replied with a stoic expression.
"Okay, but how?" Sirzechs questioned.
Itachi wasn't sure what to do here, if he told them the specifics of what he did they would all start asking him why he didn't tell them about this before. Which he could not answer them, so he decided to act just as confused as they were. "I don't know for sure how it happened, I just looked him in the eyes and tried to focus some illusion magic into him to end the fight, the next thing I know he falls asleep."
"I see, so your eyes are what put him in that illusion, correct?" Ajuka asked while taking notes.
"Umm, I guess, I was just concentrating on how to put an end to the fight. Next thing I know my eyesight improves and some energy flows through them. And next thing I know I can see what kind of illusion I place him in, like I'm inside of his mind." Itachi tried to explain it as good as he could without sounding like an expert on the subject.
"Hmm, could it be that upon eye contact with Itachi, and that energy flowing through Itachi's eyes is what put Sairaorg in the illusion?" Sirzechs questioned looking at Ajuka whom was back looking at DNA records he had gathered from Itachi's sharingan stages.
"That seems to be the case actually. This would give him a huge advantage in any kind of fight. His opponent can't look him in the eyes without being put under an illusion, he can either make them fall asleep or maybe give some serious mental trauma. Either way it gives him a huge advantage over anyone… I need to run some tests. Hang on." Ajuka said and went into another room. He came back after ten minutes with a bird trapped in a cage. He placed something around the bird's head and connected the other end to Itachi. "Okay, put this bird in an illusion with your eyes."
Itachi realized what Ajuka was doing, he was going to figure out how he places someone in an illusion. Itachi knew that he had no choice in the matter and decided to just do it. He closed his eyes and activated his sharingan and looked into the bird's eyes. Ajuka began looking at something on the computer screen while typing in something. The bird then suddenly fell asleep, Rias and Sona looked at the bird and Itachi with awe.
"Hmm, it seems that upon eye contact no matter how short, Itachi's eyes manipulates the flow of energy inside someone and this gives them hallucinations, they can be harmless or harmful, like he can go from showing the bird something that makes it fall asleep, or from showing it something like it being eaten by a predator and the bird will feel the pain of being eaten like it's real. It sorts of works like a nightmare or a dream in general." Ajuka analyzed and then took the bird out of the cage. "However," Ajuka then lightly flicked the bird on the head and it woke up. "you can break free from it if someone hits you, maybe if someone hits Itachi as well to break his concentration it will also free you from the illusion."
Itachi was amazed on how quickly Ajuka figured it out, he wasn't called a genius for nothing, and the advanced technology certainly seemed to have helped him a great deal figuring it out. However, there was still the way of the victim to lower their power to zero and then bursting it all out to break the casters concentration or someone else gives the victim energy to stop the manipulation of the flow. But Itachi wasn't about to tell them that, it was better to keep somethings a secret.
"Oh, so that means no one should fight It-tan alone? And that if they fight him alone, It-tan will win?" Serafall questioned.
"Well it's not guaranteed that either of those scenarios would happen that exact way, but yes. Most likely if someone fights him alone there is a high chance that they would lose, but if they fight him with more numbers they have a better chance of winning." Ajuka replied.
"Cool!" Serafall beamed with pride for her younger brother.
"Well that clears that I assume." Sirzechs said.
"Not quite, like I said his eyes seems to still be evolving, could be it won't be as easy to break free from his illusions in the future, maybe he will even gain something more. Maybe he will be in some sort of danger, if his eyes evolve any further-" Ajuka said.
"Right, right, I will take him to see ya for another examination." Serafall said as she knew the drill, Itachi's eyes change she takes him to Ajuka.
"Right, well that's it for now then. See you guys some other time." Ajuka said as the other two Maous took each of their younger siblings with them to leave Ajuka's lab.
"So, Itachi has this super cool power to mess with people's heads? And his future children will get this power as well?" Rias said while looking at Sirzechs whom looked down on Rias with a beaming smile.
"Oh, are you perhaps thinking of little Itachi's and little versions of you running around with those eyes already, Rias-chan?" Sirzechs teased Rias by implying that Rias and Itachi would eventually start a family.
"N-No it's nothing like that! Baka onii-sama!" Rias scolded Sirzechs and Sirzechs enjoyed seeing his precious Rias-chan all bashful.
"Yeah, besides I won't give It-tan to anyone! He's my cute little bro, so no one can have him!" Serafall said and hugged Itachi while rubbing her cheek up against his.
"I don't like the idea of giving Rias-chan to anyone either you know, she's my cute little sister after all." Sirzechs said as there was one thing him and Serafall shared, their love for their younger siblings.
"Onii-sama!" Rias had a faint blush on her face as she felt embarrassed over her stupid brother.
Sona on the other hand let out a sigh. "Seriously, you two need to act more like adults already."
"Of course, onee-chan won't let anyone have So-tan either! You two will only love me forever!" Serafall declared and pulled Sona in for a group hug, Sona had a faint blush and looked a little annoyed, Itachi let out a sigh and smiled a little as he was sadly used to this by now, while Serafall was beaming happily.
"Rias-chan, how about you give your nii-san a hug?" Sirzechs opened his arms while smiling warmly at Rias.
"…" Rias had an expression that said "seriously?" Sirzechs then began to look at her with a pleading face and tears almost formed in his eyes. Rias then sighed. "Fine." Rias said with a faint blush as Sirzechs happily embraced his little sister. "… Okay that's enough." Rias said.
"Well I guess we will see you another time, Rias." Itachi gave her a friendly smile which she returned and then she hugged him.
"Yeah, see ya…" Rias said while still hugging him with a smile on her face. Itachi smiled and returned the hug, they remind like this for a few more seconds, then Rias said goodbye to Sona and Serafall for now, Itachi and Sirzechs gave each other a handshake although Sirzechs gave him a glare over the fact that Rias hugged him longer than him. Which made Itachi sweat drop a bit.
Once they parted with Sirzechs and Rias, the Sitri siblings teleported back to the Sitri mansion. Itachi then noticed that Sona still had that look of feeling inferior on her face, and now Serafall noticed it to. Itachi recalled what happened with Sasuke, and wondered if Sona would end up just the same or similar, unless he did anything about it. So, he placed his hand on Sona's shoulder and looked at her with a warm brotherly smile. "We are all special in some way, we all have our own strengths and weaknesses that's what makes an individual unique. And you are special because you are you, so you shouldn't compare yourself to others especially us." Itachi said and Serafall smiled and looked at Sona with a warm smile before nodding in agreement to Itachi's words. Sona widened her eyes and gained a small smile on her lips and the three siblings smiled at each other lovingly and with warmth. And this time Sona embraced them both in a hug, and then she released them from the hug and gave them a look that said "I won't make a habit of this, so don't expect me to hug you guys again" before walking away. Itachi sweat dropped while Serafall just giggled a little thinking Sona was just the cutest thing ever.
Later, Itachi walked into his own dark bedroom, he turned on the lights and on his desk at the end of the room, was a chessboard with all the chess pieces besides a king. He looked at the board and remembered when he and Sona got them, they were evil pieces, and with these they could reincarnate someone into a devil and make them a part of their peerage. Itachi wasn't sure what to do with them, Rias and Sona had already decided to begin searching for potential peerage members, but Itachi wasn't exactly sure he had nothing against the idea of having a peerage, he was just not sure where to begin to look for one.
After a few months since the battle between Itachi and Sairaorg, Itachi was in the middle of developing his own spell. He was looking through some various magic books on how to manipulate and improve his water manipulation as a start. There were three types of water, liquid, solid and gas. Liquid was something all in the Sitri clan could use to manipulate, then there was solid or ice which only he and Serafall have shown the ability to do, then there was gas or steam something no one in their family has shown being able to do. There are water particles inside the steam however no one in the Sitri clan has used it, was it because it was so hard to manipulate? Was it because no one had thought of it? Or was it because they thought the small number of particles in the water was not useful? Itachi knew he had to see the water, being able to touch the water or use magic to create water to being able to manipulate it in the first place. And Itachi found a way to use those particles just now, something only he can do.
It was not that the Sitri clan couldn't manipulate the water particles in the steam, it was because they didn't see the point in it since they were so small that they couldn't see it. But Itachi with his sharingan, by infusing his magic into the particles in the steam, he would be able to see them as they would give off his own magic energy color. How to make steam wasn't difficult, he could either shot a fire ball into a lake or infuse his fire magic with his water magic.
After having declared to his father that he was going to go out in the wilderness outside of their territory to train, and that there was no need to go after him. Itachi was currently walking through the forest where he once defended Rias and Sona when they were four years old from a giant wolf.
He had purposely walked into a known giant grey furred wolf territory. He stood outside a massive cave and out walked a pack of all the giant wolfs. Out walked ten giant wolfs, one of them was bigger than the others with a black furred stripe on the back, this wolf was clearly the alfa. The alfa jumped down to Itachi and growled at him. "Okay, guess you are my test subject." Itachi said and stretched his arms out to the side forming two magic circles, forming one massive sphere of water and another one of fire. He then slammed them together and out exploded a massive fog of steam. Itachi activated his three tomoe sharingan that glowed bright red through the foggy steam.
He could see them, he saw the water particles infused with his magic in a bright blue color. He could even see them inside of the alfa wolf whom got them inside of him once he inhaled the steam and the water particles entered his body. "I'm truly sorry about this, but I know that you know it's either you or me, only one will walk out alive." Itachi said as he raised his right hand with his index finger and middle finger stretched out, he circled his arm around and the water particles inside of the giant wolf gathered together. "Okay, moment of truth." Itachi said and swung his arm to the side, and then suddenly a massive cut came across from the alfa wolfs torso and a massive amount of blood spilled out. Itachi had manipulated the force of the water particles to the point they were just as sharp as a blade. The alfa wolf wailed in pain and fell down to the ground as it died. "It worked." Itachi uttered having successfully invented a new way of water manipulation. All the other wolfs backed down and ran away as their alfa had died.
Itachi had found a way to deal with troublesome enemies, and yet another one shot move besides his Subzero spell. The one problem he immediately discovered with it was that from the steam he created there weren't enough water particles to do it more than once. Meaning on enemies like Raiser Phenex whom could heal himself instantly they wouldn't have much of an effect unless he could make way more steam, to create more water particles to use and attack his enemies from the inside of what they breath in. But he needed to make another spell designed to take on Raiser or any others from the Phenex family in case he had to. He could always trap them in an illusion and mind torture them until they lose the spirit to fight, true enough that might work on Raiser. But on another member of the Phenex clan with a stronger mind it might not work with an illusion unless he used the Tsukuyomi. But he never knew when he had mastered enough magic for his eyes to evolve into Eternal Mangekyou state. And he needed something else in the meantime, perhaps an ice spell to freeze them? But with their eternal flame it might be difficult to contain them, unless he gets ice powers at Searfall's level it might not work.
He needed to give this some thought on how to deal with their immortality or deal with their unbeatable flame. Itachi was a very careful man, he made plans on how to deal with various of the different devil houses in case he needed to fight them in a Rating Game or maybe in something else.
Itachi then created a magic circle to teleport himself back to the Sitri mansion. He arrived in the living room of the mansion in a flash of light and found his father and mother getting a little busy on the couch. "Oh! Itachi!" His mother got herself off of Lord Sitri with a blush on her face as she was a little embarrassed. She then punched her husband in the face. "That's what happens when you want to play it dangerously!"
"S-Sorry…" Lord Sitri uttered with a swollen cheek.
"Can't you two just save these kinds of things for the bedroom?" Itachi asked with a stoic expression.
"You won't be saying that once you're married!" Lord Sitri declared and Itachi noticed a red lipstick kiss mark on his father's neck from his mother's lips.
"Sure, we'll see." Itachi just wanted to end the conversation, and he seriously doubted that he would ever do these kinds of things outside of the bedroom once he was married. "By the way, does this mean you are planning on getting another child? Should Sona and I expect to get a younger sibling?"
"I don't know, we'll see what happens, although I seriously doubt it." Lord Sitri replied with a look that said he didn't want another child, and this didn't go unnoticed by Lady Sitri.
"And what perhaps would be wrong with getting another child, dear?" Lady Sitri questioned seeming that she wouldn't mind having another child.
"N-Nothing honey, nothing, at all…" Lord Sitri said looking rather nervous, he then looked over at Itachi. "I thought you were going training outside in the woods?" Lord Sitri questioned a little annoyed that he didn't get to have his fun time with his beloved wife.
"I did, I'm finished." Itachi replied.
"Anyway, your sister and Rias are looking for you, they are back from their trip from the human world." Lord Sitri said trying to get Itachi out of the room so that he could try and convince Lady Sitri to continue the fun time.
"What did they want?" Itachi questioned.
"They want to show off their queens." Lord Sitri replied with a grin.
"Queens?" Itachi questioned with a raised brow.
"They have recruited their first peerage members and wanted to show them off to you. You should start gathering them yourself soon or else they will leave you in the dust. Then again they might catch up to you since you're the strongest devil of your generation." Lord Sitri replied with a lot of pride in his voice that his son had been declared the strongest of his generation. "The Bael family can suck it!"
"Hn, where are they now?" Itachi asked.
"They are in Sona's room waiting for you, are you going to go to them and meet their new servants?" Lord Sitri asked implying that he wanted Itachi out of this room to continue fun time.
"Might as well, or else they are going to scold me." Itachi shrugged his shoulders and walked out of the living room. "Oh, and dad, mom, if you are going to continue this special time of yours, may I suggest you either put up a barrier or go to your own bedroom?" Itachi said and his mother blushed while Lord Sitri chuckled nervously.
"We'll keep that in mind…" Lord Sitri uttered as Itachi left the room. "We are going to continue, aren't we?" He looked at his wife with a pleading look.
"I'm not really in the mood right now." Lady Sitri said with a stoic expression and walked out of the room.
"Oh, man…" Lord Sitri hung his head down.
"But… maybe tonight…" Lady Sitri said with a faint blush before she left the room.
"Yes!" Lord Sitri pumped his fist smirking.
Itachi was walking towards Sona's room when suddenly. "Onii-sama, I see you have returned." Sona stood in front of him with Rias and two other girls, one with long straight black hair with light brown eyes behind a pair of glasses, and another girl with black hair in a high ponytail with violet eyes, and Itachi noticed something about the last girl, he was certain he had seen that look in her eyes before, but where?
"I heard from father, you wanted to show off your first peerage members." Itachi said with a stoic expression he looked at the two new girls. "Well, aren't you going to introduce them to me?"
"Oh, right. Onii-sama, this is my queen, Tsubaki Shinra." Sona presented the girl with the glasses to her older brother.
Tsubaki looked at Itachi with a stoic expression and bowed politely. "Greetings, Itachi Sitri-sama, I'm grateful to be in the service of your household."
"No need for such formality, and the pleasure is all mine." Itachi said with a warm smile.
"And this is my queen, Akeno Himejima." Rias presented the girl with the pained look in her eyes that hid that behind her own smile.
"Greetings, sir." Akeno bowed politely with her smile, yet Itachi could see through that smile and saw pain as he was experienced in seeing people who had experienced pain.
"Again, no need for such formality, I hope that we can get along. A friend of Rias is a friend of mine." Itachi gave a warm smile to Akeno making the girl look like she felt more at ease.
"Told you, he is a good guy." Rias said to Akeno whom gave a small nod. "So, Itachi what about you? Aren't you going to get a peerage soon?"
"I would, but I'm not exactly sure where I would start looking. I will figure it out eventually." Itachi said rubbing the back of his head.
"By the way, where were you earlier? Father only told us you had left." Sona looked at him demanding an answer.
"Oh, I was off training in the woods." Itachi replied with a deadpan expression.
"Training? Again?" Sona questioned with a sigh.
"Of course, if I want to reach my goal I have to work for it after all." Itachi replied.
"Your already plenty of strong, you could take a break from training to maybe spending a little time… with me…" Sona muttered the last part with a faint blush, but Itachi heard her none the less.
"I haven't done that lately, have I?" Itachi said with a small smile as he placed his hand on the top of Sona's head. "I'm sorry Sona, I got time now though."
"Th-Then, play chess with me!" Sona said.
Itachi let out a sigh as this was going to be a long day. "Alright then, let's play." They went into Sona's room and sat down with a chessboard while Rias, Akeno and Tsubaki stood as audience to this. "You make the first move." Itachi said and Sona did just that.
"So, have you lost to anyone besides me or Rias recently?" Itachi asked as he moved his own chess piece.
"No, I have not." Sona said as she had lost every match she had played with Itachi and a few against Rias although she won the majority of those matches.
"I see, you're still going for the you will only marry the guy who beats you at chess thing?" Itachi asked as Sona had decided to choose her future husband by playing chess and if whomever that was lucky won, they got to marry her. So far, none had succeeded besides Itachi, but since their siblings it doesn't count. Itachi himself found it foolish that Sona would bet her entire future in a mere game of chess, when he first heard of it he was a little outraged to say the least, he remembers scolding his father for it.
"I am." Sona kept her head in the game and moved her piece.
"So, no matter what I say, you will still follow this path?" Itachi asked with his stoic expression and moved his own piece.
"Yes, don't you have faith in my abilities?" Sona asked looking a little annoyed that Itachi didn't trust her on this.
"It's not a matter about lack of faith, it's more about concern, you never know who's out there and for all you know you may one day meet your match, and end up being married to a guy you don't even like." Itachi replied and moved his finishing move. "Checkmate."
"Wh-What?! Already, again!" Sona demanded and Tsubaki herself looked shocked at how fast Itachi beat Sona at chess, Akeno was also shocked as she must have heard from Rias that Sona was very smart.
"You have never beaten me before, what makes you think it will change?" Itachi just looked at his sister with his usual stoic expression.
"You can't win every time! You're bound to slip up or make a mistake at some point!" Sona pointed out and it wasn't untrue, he knew he couldn't win every time and that someday he might meet his match be it at fighting or playing chess. He was secretly trying to make Sona realize this herself, that she couldn't win every time either.
"And the same can't be said for you?" Itachi asked and Sona widened her eyes as Itachi had turned a game of chess into a lecture.
"I know, but this way I can at least buy some time…" Sona said while looking down.
Itachi let out a sigh. "As long as you realize it. Now, you wanted to play again?" Itachi asked with a warm brotherly smile.
"Hey! I wanna play against Itachi next!" Rias declared.
"Sure, let's go Rias." Itachi said and he played several matches against all of them, and he didn't lose a single one. But while he was playing the pain he noticed in Akeno's eyes was bothering him a little, because there was also hate in her eyes, directed at someone not in this room. He had also remembered where he had seen that look before, it was a look he had seen in many shinobi throughout his carrier in his old world, but mostly he recognized that look from Sasuke. But her look was still slightly different, it was also with angst, she hid her feelings pretty well as Itachi didn't think he would have noticed had it not been for his past life. He didn't feel like prying into her past anyway. Just as Itachi was about to take his gaze off of Akeno, she looked over at him having noticed his gaze at her a bit, and her eyes flickered of a little curiosity for a split second. Later Akeno said she had to go to the bathroom, and asked Itachi if he could take her there seeing as Rias and Sona were in the middle of their chess game, Itachi of course accepted and they walked out of the room.
After Akeno was finished they were walking back, when all of the sudden she grabbed Itachi's right arm and placed it between her developing yet very large chest, and she looked at him with a seductive look. "I noticed the looks you sent me earlier. Could it be, that you have possibly fallen for me?" Akeno asked with a teasing giggle, despite this Itachi remained stoic.
"…" Itachi could see this was her way of trying to hide her pain from others, and it seemed as if she wondered if he had noticed said pain in her earlier. And since she seemed to pushing on with that topic, Itachi decided to respond. "Is this your way of hiding away your pain?" Itachi asked and Akeno looked taken aback and released Itachi's arm as her face darkened for a second and was then replaced by her fake smile once more.
"Ara, ara, whatever do you mean?" Akeno asked with a giggle.
"I think you know what I mean." Itachi said as the tension in the air increased bit by bit. "Although you can hide your emotions pretty well with that fake smile of yours, I can still see traces of pain in your eyes."
"…" Akeno got quiet for a bit yet kept her fake smile up. "The eyes are the windows to one's soul, as the old saying goes huh? I figured you noticed after I saw that look you were sending me…" Akeno's smile then vanished as she looked up at Itachi. "I thought you were the same as me for a bit, but that would be impossible considering you are a child of a noble devil family."
"Although I am not the same, I can still understand I have seen people go through all kinds of pain. It wouldn't be too hard to believe that I can understand you despite my family, considering Rias seems to understand and you seem to trust her." Itachi said, and he could actually understand and relate himself when it comes to experiencing pain, his had his fair share after all.
"Rias is my very best friend now, so yes I trust her." Akeno replied with a smile that seemed real for a split second but returned to a fake one almost instantly. "But you can't understand-"
"Well at the moment I can't, because you haven't told me about it." Itachi pointed out and Akeno then looked a little scared, scared of telling him about it. "… If you don't want to tell me, then don't tell me, if you do then do. Either way the choice is yours to make and I don't intend to force you. But, let me just say this. Talking about it can ease the pain a bit." Once Itachi said that Akeno looked conflicted whether she should tell him her story or not after some time, she made her decision.
"M-My father… is a fallen angel…" Akeno uttered shaking a little, not out of fear that she would be hated, but of anger directed at her father.
"I see, and I take it you don't really like your father?" Itachi asked and Akeno lowered her head further and clenched her hands as confirmation.
"He abandoned me, me and my mother… and because of that… she's dead." Akeno's entire body shook as she was holding back her tears.
"I see, my condolences." Itachi as he could see how much talking about her mother pained her. "I understand that it's a painful subject for you, but like I said, talking about it usually helps." Itachi said with comforting eyes.
"… When my father was gone from our house, some men came into our house and killed her when she tried to protect me… they told me it happened because I have the blood of a fallen angel inside me… that I was tainted by this filthy blood…" Akeno this time couldn't hold back her tears and he could see in her eyes that she hated herself and her bloodline. "My father couldn't protect us… it's his fault that mom is dead… I hate him…!"
Itachi now fully understood the situation, and yet he had to say something, no matter how harsh it sounded she needed to hear it. "You are a fool, aren't you?" Itachi said with a stoic expression and Akeno looked at him with confusion at first that turned into anger.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Akeno glared at him, here she was telling him her story and he dares call her a fool.
"The way I see it your judging your father over something you don't seem to know the full story of yourself. You said your father didn't come to protect you and your mother, but was that really the case?" Itachi asked and Akeno glared at him with venomous eyes.
"What do you know?! I told you that he abandoned us and he-" Akeno raised her voice but was cut midsentence by Itachi.
"Didn't come or couldn't come?" Itachi asked and Akeno was filled with silence. "Although I don't know the full details, I know that you are letting your own emotions cloud your judgment and the truth from your eyes. That is something you want to avoid, the end result won't be pretty. You should go and find your father and talk it over with him, if you are going to hold hatred towards him make sure it's justified or else you will end up regretting this mistake for the rest of your life. Once you confirm the full truth and it turns out to be like you said, do as you please."
Akeno looked down at her developing chest and clenched her right hand over her heart. She now knew Itachi wasn't trying to be mean, just to help her she still didn't know if she was ready to hear the truth from her father though. "Y-Your right… I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier…"
"It's fine, I might have sounded too harsh so I probably deserved it. Oh, and one more thing." Itachi said and Akeno looked at him with tears still forming in her big violet eyes. "Don't hate your own blood, half of that blood comes from your mother after all, and you do love her, right?" Itachi smiled at her warmly and kindly.
"Mm, I do…" Akeno nodded and with a little honest smile.
"Hn, finally I see you truly smile instead of keeping up that façade. I'm glad I got to know you, Akeno Himejima." Itachi said and Akeno gained a small faint blush as she felt her heart beat a little faster. "Now then, we should probably head back to the others, they are probably wondering where we are." Itachi began walking back to Sona's room, Akeno nodded and ran up to Itachi and to his surprise grabbed his right arm and placed it between her breasts like last time.
"I can see why Rias likes you so much. You're quite the man, aren't you?" Akeno said with a giggle and Itachi raised his brow at this as he thought that when she did this earlier she was just putting up an act. He decided not to give it much thought and just walk back to the others. Naturally when they returned Rias and Sona started scolding Itachi and accusing him of seducing Akeno.
Chapter 6: The Neko Sisters!
More years had passed, and now Itachi's body had reached the age of 13, same with Rias, Akeno, Sona and Tsubaki. Itachi had grown even taller and was now even taller than Serafall, even Sona was now just as tall as their older sister, Rias was only slightly shorter than Itachi and Akeno and Tsubaki were about equally tall.
Right now, Itachi was in the middle of training with Sairaorg inside of his personal training facility. Ever since their battle three years ago they had come together every now and then to train. However, something that started a little over a few months ago, was Itachi desiring to master Touki, which is what Sairaorg was helping him doing at this very moment.
Itachi and Sairaorg clashed into each other pushing their arms up against each other, Itachi then proceeded to deliver a kick towards his rival's chin. Sairaorg blocked the kick and pushed Itachi back. Sairaorg had mastered using Touki through pure training his physical body over the years since he couldn't use his family's demonic power or magic. Touki was something that fell into the category of senjutsu which required chakra. Although Itachi had discovered there was something called chakra in this world, judging by what it did in this world showed just how much of a difference there were between this worlds chakra and his old worlds chakra. Itachi had considered studying it but since it was so different it might not be easy to master, so mastering Touki would be more than enough for now.
Itachi and Sairaorg kept throwing punches at each other and blocked each other's strikes. Itachi jumped back to gain some distance between the two of them, Sairaorg however flared up his Touki aura and charged at Itachi with full speed. Itachi then blocked a punch from Sairaorg that sent him flying across the room, and he landed onto his knees. When Itachi looked up he saw Sairaorg's fist a few inches away from his face. "Should we call it a day?" Sairaorg asked as they have been training for about over an hour now.
"I suppose." Itachi smiled and got back up they then exited the training room both looking a little sweaty.
"So, how do you feel?" Sairaorg asked wanting to check if the training helped.
"I do feel stronger, although I am not quite there yet." Itachi replied as they were heading for the locker and shower room, when on the way they ran into Sona. "Sona, is something the matter?" Itachi asked his beloved little sister.
"I came to check if you were done training, Onii-sama, we have somewhere to be." Sona replied making Itachi raise his brow as Sona didn't say where they were going. "I will be waiting for you upstairs once you are finished." Sona said and walked away, Sairaorg looked at Itachi with a questioning gaze and Itachi just shrugged his shoulders in responds. The two rivals then went into the showers, then changed their clothes, and once they were finished Sairaorg went back home.
This time Itachi, Sona and Tsubaki had come to visit the Gremory castle and they were welcomed with open arms. And once they entered Rias and Akeno greeted them, it turns out that Sona had brought him here to hang out, claiming that Itachi needed to spend some time with their friends. First, they played a few chess games and Itachi didn't lose once of course, and now they were watching a recording of Itachi's fight with Sairaorg from three years ago, as Rias claimed that Akeno didn't see the fight at first hand as she wasn't in her peerage at the time, and that this could be a perfect time to show her an example on how devils fight. Although from what Rias told them, Akeno was quite gifted when it came to magic and was grasping it quite well.
At the moment of the recording they had arrived at the point where Itachi put Sairaorg under the illusion and won the battle. "What did Itachi do just then?" Akeno questioned blinking a little out of confusion to what just happened.
"I put Sairaorg under an illusion to knock him out, that was how I won the battle." Itachi explained yet Akeno still looked confused.
"Itachi has the ability to put anyone under an illusion as long as he looks them in the eyes." Rias explained and Akeno widened her eyes in amazement.
"Wow that's amazing, you're really strong aren't you, Itachi?" Akeno looked over at the man that she had a crush on with a smile and a lustful gaze.
"I suppose." Itachi said as he was reading a book while the others were watching the recording. Itachi at the moment had two girls that have a crush on him, and he has no idea of it either, not because he was stupid, he had just not payed that much attention to some small advancements they have done towards him, as those advancements were mostly hugging his arms between their developing, yet very large breasts, or asking him to come with them to hang out and do stuff.
"And that was how Itachi became known as the strongest devil of our generation." Rias said and Akeno had a look of awe while Sona had a look of pride for her older brother, and Itachi had a look that said that he really didn't care at all, which he did not.
"So, Itachi I have heard that you and Rias are engaged, is this true?" Akeno asked and Rias' face darkened not because she hated being engaged to Itachi, but because she was also engaged to that jerk Raiser, and despite her having feelings for Itachi she didn't like the idea of it being an arranged marriage. Rias also didn't want to force Itachi to marry her she wanted him to marry her because he wants to.
"Yes, that is true, our parents have arranged an engagement between me and Rias to prevent her from having to marry a man named Raiser Phenex. However, after the whole ordeal has been dealt with I will allow her to marry whom she chooses." Itachi replied and Akeno looked at him with a puzzled expression and then she looked over to Rias, whom pouted at what Itachi said as he was the one she wanted to marry. Akeno knew very well how Rias felt about Itachi, and Rias knew what Akeno felt about Itachi as well, and so did Sona, basically everyone did besides Itachi. The reason for this once again, was not because he was an idiot, he just didn't pay that much attention to their advancements towards him.
Suddenly the door to the living room opened and in entered Sirzechs. "Rias-chan, I wanted to talk to you about something."
"What is it, onii-sama?" Rias questioned and stood up to face her brother while Akeno bowed her head down in respect for the great Lucifer.
"I have a new peerage member for you." Sirzechs replied with a smile and everyone gained a look of confusion while Itachi raised his brow and put his book down for now.
"A new peerage member?" Rias questioned as she looked a little excited.
"Yes, here she is." Sirzechs stepped to the side revealing a tiny little petite cute girl with short white hair cut in a bob cut with bangs going over her forehead, her eyes were golden, her most notable feature being a pair of white kitty ears sticking out from the top of her head and a white cat tail from her bottom. She looked rather nervous and frightened like a kitten being taken to a new home. "She has some special circumstances so she can't really stay anywhere else. If you wish to know more about these circumstances you will have to ask her yourself."
"M-My name is… Sh-Shirone…" The girl muttered her name in a broken like voice as she avoided eye contact from any of them.
"Shirone, nice to meet you." Rias greeted the little petite girl with a warm welcoming smile trying to make the girl feel more at ease, but to no avail. Shirone didn't seem to like being called by her name and they all seemed to take a notice to that, Rias and Akeno exchanged looks with one another trying to figure out what to do.
"Well I suppose this matter has nothing to do with us. See you next time, Rias." Sona bowed her head politely. "Come, onii-sama, Tsubaki."
Itachi could see the girl had some troubled backstory like Akeno, although she didn't give the same look of hatred like Akeno did only sadness and sorrow. He figured it would be best for the girl to sort out her own feelings before trying to open up to her, although Rias and Akeno didn't seem to know that as they tried to make the girl talk to them, which resulted in her lowering her head like she was hiding from them.
"Rias, a word of advice. Might be best to let her sort out her own feelings before you try and open up to her. Whatever she's going through I doubt you can do anything to comfort her." Itachi suggested to his fiancé.
"But-" Rias tried to find a good reason, but she couldn't find any way to argue against Itachi on this and stayed silent.
Itachi could have sworn though that the look Shirone was showing looked so familiar to him, then it hit him. She looked like Sasuke when he had found out that Itachi had massacred their entire clan, there is no mistaking it, that look of sadness, the feeling of having been betrayed by someone you loved.
"Onii-sama." Sona called out for Itachi breaking him out of his train of thought.
"Oh, right, let's go. See you guys later." Itachi gave a small wave of goodbye to the girls.
"Yeah, see you later, Itachi. Come back again soon." Rias said with a smile although she didn't really want Itachi to leave and from the looks of it neither did Akeno, although Itachi had already turned away before they started showing that look in their eyes. And as Itachi was walking away with Sona, Shirone looked at Itachi with a small hint of curiosity as she had noticed the look of understanding in Itachi's eyes when he saw her.
After a few weeks had passed Rias had suddenly called over Itachi asking for help with Shirone. When he had arrived, Rias told him that Shirone had been ignoring her and Akeno for the past weeks and gone off to hide somewhere and only coming out when there was food. And Rias thought there was maybe some way Itachi could help as she knew he was skilled at tracking animals and people whom are hidden.
"So, what do I do when I find her? I doubt she will voluntarily return back with me." Itachi said as it was true, he really doubted Shirone would come back if someone found her and told her to do so.
"Just please find her, I'm worried sick about her she is my new Rook after all, and a part of my household." Rias said with pleading eyes, Itachi found it a little difficult saying no to Rias, especially whenever she would look at him with those eyes, and then he gave in and let out a little sigh.
"Fine, where was the last place you saw her?" Itachi asked and Rias guided him to the living room saying she had come here to eat snacks and then ran off. Truly this girl reminded Itachi a lot of a kitten, and he remember his younger days back in Konoha when he would hunt for cats for that old cat lady. And if this girl was this much like a kitten, maybe she thought like a kitten to. Itachi walked outside on the balcony on the top floor, Rias and Akeno followed him closely, and when he walked out on the balcony they were surprised when he suddenly leaped up to the rooftop of the Gremory castle. The two girls took out their devil bat wings, with Akeno having one devil wing and one fallen angel wing.
They then saw Itachi just standing there and they landed next to him and looked at him in slight confusion. "What is it? Itachi?" Rias asked.
"Did you find her?" Akeno asked.
"Up there." Itachi said and looked up on the top of a tower seeing little Shirone dressed in better clothing than from the last time he saw her. She was sitting on the top of a tower while looking at the full moon with her tail moving back and forth like a kittens.
"Shi-" Rias was about to call out to her but Itachi stopped her from doing so.
"If you call out to her you risk scaring her off." Itachi said at this point threating this girl like she was just a kitten.
"You know she's not a cat, right?" Rias asked with a sweat drop.
"Yes, but she sure is acting like one. She is a nekomata after all." Itachi said with a small amused smile and brought out his wings.
"What are you doing?" Rias asked.
"I'm going to go and talk to her, what else?" Itachi replied and flew up towards the tower at immense speed. Shirone's ears suddenly twitched as she knew Itachi was approaching, she turned around but didn't see anyone. "Looking for me?" Itachi was behind her and she swiftly turned around looking ready to run. "Come on, let's sit." Itachi said patting on the spot next to him.
Shirone moved carefully towards him, while looking at him confused. "What do you want?"
"Well how about that, you can talk after all. And here Rias told me you hadn't said a word in over a few weeks." Itachi said and once again patted on the spot next to him. "I just want to have a little chat, that's all." Shirone looked hesitant and backed slightly away from Itachi. "I won't bite you or anything, so just sit." Itachi said with a little smile on his face to make Shirone feel a little more at ease, it worked slightly as she at least sat down, just a little further away from Itachi. "Now then, want to tell me what's bothering you?"
"…"
"I take that as a no. Then I guess I have to guess what your problem is." Itachi said and the girl still avoided eye contact with him. "Someone you trusted and loved betrayed you and now you feel sad, right?" Itachi asked and Shirone flinched with her eyes widening a little. "I take that as a yes. Now if I were to guess who this person was, I would say either a parent or a sibling." Itachi noticed Shirone flinching at the mentioning of the word sibling. "Sibling then, I see."
"… A-Are you the same?" Shirone muttered as she gazed at Itachi slightly.
"No, but I have witnessed a similar situation before. And read about it in a story." Itachi replied of course one part of that was a lie. "Want me to tell you the story?"
"…"
"…"
"…"
She didn't refuse but her ears twitched a bit showing a sign that she was paying attention which made Itachi smile. "Once upon a time, there were two brothers that lived in a peaceful village with their clan. The older brother was strong and considered a prodigy amongst his fellow clansmen, while his little brother admired him greatly and wanted to be acknowledged just like his brother was. They would live a happy life for many years, but the older brother as well as the rest of the clansmen knew of a truth the younger brother was too young to even begin to understand. They knew the village hated them for their powers and abilities, and members of the clan was often discriminated by some of the villagers. One incident occurred back when the little brother was still a little baby, and that incident took the lives of many people. The clan these two brothers came from were blamed for the incident and driven to the outskirts of the village where they were spied upon. The younger brother like many other children his age had no idea, but the older brother did and wanted to protect his little brother from this truth. One day however the clan had enough, and decided to stage a coup on the village. This remained unknown to the younger brother. While as the older brother being the skilled fighter that he was, was placed in the villages military to work as a spy for his clan, when in truth he was a double agent." Itachi told the tale of the two brothers and Shirone looked slightly more intrigued.
"Why would he become a double agent? Shirone asked wondering why anyone would turn their back on their family.
Itachi gave her a smile. "Unlike the younger brother, the older brother when he was 4 years old witnessed a world war and saw countless of people die. This lead him to despise war more than anything, and he knew that if someone as powerful as his clan would try and overthrow the village, other enemy nations would take this opportunity and attack which would cause a new war. So, in order to prevent it he worked on both sides to try and find a way to solve this problem without any bloodshed."
Shrione looked a little more intrigued which made Itachi smile even more. "Continue." Shirone said and Itachi just thought that this girl was a little cute, just like a little kitten.
"However, things did not work out for the older brother as he had hoped. The clan's hatred and stubbornness had grown too strong and in the end time ran out… However, one village leader decided to take advantage of the older brothers love for his village and his younger brother and gave him a choice. Either side with the clan and launch the coup and die along with them and along with your younger brother. Or side with the village and prevent the coup from happening by putting an end to his own clansmen and in exchange his little brother would be spared, his brother whom knew nothing. As the time came, the older brother massacred his entire clan, even his own parents." Itachi clenched his fists for a bit holding back his own feelings as good as he could. "He then pretended to be a villain to his little brother and tried to feed him with hatred and give him the idea that he did it for power. The older brother took the role as a villain, and became known as a traitor and a criminal. And his younger brother was sad at first, but then he grew only hatred for his brother whom he had once looked up to and loved. After several years of enduring the hardships of having to be a criminal, and deal with the idea that those who you loved hated you now and wanted you dead. The older brother caught a terminal illness on purpose, and once the younger brother had grown up and become strong enough, the older brother arranged for a fight between the two of them. The older brother fought while pretending he was still a bad guy who needed to be stopped, he kept going until he died at his younger brother's feet. And despite all of the things he went through, he died with a smile on his face, because now his little brother would be considered the hero of the village, whom had slain his criminal brother. The older brother found peace in that and died happily, while his younger brother kept on living bringing honor back to their family name. The end." Itachi finished the story and looked over at Shirone whom was trembling, and tears ran down her eyes and Itachi noticed that she was sitting right next to him now. Itachi wrapped his right arm around her shoulder and brought her in for a hug.
Meanwhile Rias was holding back her tears muffling her cries with her hand over her mouth, as they had eavesdropped on the story Itachi told. Akeno also felt sad after hearing that story. But for some reason when they heard that story, they couldn't help but imagine Itachi as this older brother character which made them feel even more sad.
"My onee-sama…" Shirone uttered trying to hold back her tears. "S-She killed our former master because she was drunk with power… That's what I heard… And now she's, she's…"
"A wanted criminal." Itachi finished and Shirone couldn't hold back her tears and cried into Itachi's chest. "What is you older sisters name?"
"Sniff… Kuroka…" Shirone replied.
"I see." Itachi gently stroked the girls head. "We should go back inside now, Rias has been worried sick about you. In fact, that's why she called me over here, she really cares about you."
"Why? Why does she care?" Shirone questioned.
"Because you are like family to me now." Rias climbed up onto the tower with them and looked at Shirone with a warm loving smile.
"Family?" Shirone questioned as Akeno also climbed up.
"That's right, you're a part of our family now, Shirone." Akeno replied with a warm loving smile.
"We love you and care for you, we eat together, we laugh together, we have fun together, and that makes us family." Rias said and embraced the little nekomata in a hug and Shirone started crying even more and Akeno even joined in on the hug. "Hey, since you seem so uncomfortable with your name, how about I give you a new one?" Rias suggested which peaked the petite nekomata's interest. "Oh, I know. how about Koneko, you look so much like a kitten after all."
"Koneko… I like it…" Shirone uttered with a little happy smile on her lips.
"Thank you for the help, Itachi." Rias thanked her fiancé.
"No problem." Itachi gave them a little smile and then he walked over to Shirone and petted her on the head. "Behave now, and don't run off without telling Rias where you are going, okay?" Shirone nodded in response with a faint blush as she felt calm and relaxed around Itachi and her heart skipped a beat. "Now then I should go, later." Itachi waved before he vanished in a magic circle.
Once he arrived at the Sitri castle he instantly went up to the head guard of the castle. "Itachi-sama? Is something the matter?"
"Give me every bit of information you have about a criminal named Kuroka." Itachi demanded in a stern tone.
"What for?" The head guard asked with a raised brow.
"I would like to help out in an investigation, now I don't have time to discuss this, give me the information right now." Itachi demanded and the head guard got a little startled.
"Umm, yes sir, right away young master." The head guard went into his own office and grabbed a file. "We all have had a look at it, every other guard from every household has one, so that we can find her and bring her to justice." Itachi browsed through the file and saw a picture of a black-haired girl with golden eyes, she had black cat ears that was visible from her head and she wore a black kimono and the top was a little open revealing her developing cleavage that rivaled Rias and Akeno's, it said she was an SS-class criminal and was now considered a stray devil.
"Thank you, you may go back to your duties." Itachi said and vanished through a magic circle, he was all too familiar with the name of Kuroka and Shirone's former master. Rumors had it that he was a devil that was into experimenting on other species, even on his own servants. Itachi was a little skeptic at first, Kuroka could have protected her sister from a horrific experiment planned by their master, or she could have actually become drunk with power. Itachi however wanted to find a way to help, as he knew what was in the end of the path Kuroka might be walking at this very moment, and he had no desire for anyone to walk that path like he did. He was going to take a gamble on it, and go see this elder sister nekomata.
He arrived through a magic circle in a large mansion that belonged to Kuroka and Shirone's former master whom was now dead. He snuck into the place where they had found the man dead in his own office to look for clues. He browsed through a bunch of files found at his desk which the guards seemed to have avoided looking through, they must just have thought this was a classic devil abandoning his or hers master in their selfish quest for power. But Itachi was a man who demanded evidence to prove if someone was guilty or not. He then found a file that said how the dead man had planned to experiment on Shirone, and how and why. Itachi's eyes were filled with a little disgust directed towards the dead man.
He heard someone approaching and quickly hid beneath the desk, two guards entered and looked through the room. "Such a shame to lose a full-blooded devil…" One guard spoke.
"Yeah, like our species isn't in enough trouble already. Have they found her yet?" The other guard asked with a tone that said he wanted to find Kuroka and kill her for her crimes.
"Yeah, they managed to track her into the woods, she won't get far. I heard her sister was saved by Lord Lucifer from execution though, apparently, he gave her to his little sister."
"Well she had nothing to do with it after all so it doesn't matter, the only reason she was placed for execution was in case she would end up just like her big sister."
"We better get going, we're a part of the search party to find that bitch anyway."
"Yeah."
Itachi heard that the door closed and could hear the guards footsteps as they walked down the hall. Itachi took this chance to slip out. He then used a magic circle to teleport himself out in the local wilderness of the mansion as the full moon shined brightly.
He then flew through the woods with his devil bat wings sticking out from his back, and with his sharingan activated to try and locate the missing nekomata. He spotted various guards looking around on the other side of the forest, but then he noticed someone hiding in the top of a tree, watching the guards as they passed her.
It was Kuroka and she let out a sigh. "That was close, nya." She had two black cat tails sticking out from her behind and she wore her black kimono from the photo and it had bells decorated on it. She was about to leave but then Itachi let his presence be known to her by releasing some energy, knowing that with her senjutsu skills she could sense him. She swiftly turned around and glared at Itachi whom was standing on a tree branch behind her. "Well, well, a cute devil boy found me, nya." Kuroka smirked and got into fighting position.
"Relax, I'm not here to hurt you nor am I here to arrest you." Itachi said with an emotionless stoic face with his hands raised up. "I'm a friend of Shirone." The moment he said that name he noticed that Kuroka's body flinched. "And I know why you did what you did." Itachi said and Kuroka was taken a little aback, but she remained warry of Itachi.
"Oh, and what do you think I did? Nya." Kuroka asked with a smile on her face although judging by her expression she was ready for a fight, and looked at him with a slight condescending glance.
"I know that you killed your master because he was going to perform some experiment on Shirone. He wanted to test her in his research to create super devils. But you stopped him, however due to your recent development in your power which had surpassed that of your master. People assumed that you had become drunk with power and killed him. This later lead to your sister almost getting executed." Itachi said and Kuroka widened her eyes and was taken even more aback.
"H-How did you know that? Nya." Kuroka questioned with her body shaking a bit.
Itachi brought out the file he took from the office earlier. "Thanks to this, it contains all the info on your master's precious research and what he was planning to do to your sister. Plus, before that I made an assumption based on my own knowledge of a similar situation I have witnessed before. Your sister was quite depressed when she first arrived at my friend's place, she wouldn't even talk to anyone for weeks." Itachi said and he could see the guilt rise in Kuroka's eyes.
"Then… why are you here? Nya." Kuroka asked with her eyes narrowed at Itachi.
"Simple, I wish to help. I know what's at the end of this path for you, and it's not pretty, so I would very much like to prevent you from going down this path and return you to your sister." Itachi replied with his unreadable stoic face so that Kuroka really couldn't tell if he was telling the truth or lying which made her be on guard. Itachi noticed this and let out a sigh before giving her a reassuring smile. "Let me tell you a story I told your sister." Itachi said and Kuroka raised her eyebrow in confusion. And Itachi told the exact same story he had told Koneko about the two brothers and how the older brother ended up taking the role of a criminal and slaughter their entire family, just to prevent a new world war and to protect his younger brother, and that the older brother eventually died at his brother's feet during their final battle.
Kuroka was taken aback by this story and felt sadness and some sort of comparison between herself and this older brother character. "Who are you?" Kuroka questioned as her body was shaking.
"I'm Itachi Sitri, the next head of the Sitri household." Itachi replied and Kuroka widened her eyes a bit.
"You're the strongest devil of our generation…" Kuroka uttered as she had heard of him before.
"I see you have heard of my title. Like you I'm an older sibling myself, I have a little sister whom I would want to protect more than anything. However, I know that this way will only lead to despair, unless you have someone to guide you through it that has been through the same as you and can help you avoid making mistakes that is. But I want to offer you a way out of this path, give you a chance to spend some time with your sister. You may think shielding her from the truth is only good for her, but it's not, trust me on that." Itachi said and Kuroka looked down with grief and sadness in her eyes.
"How can you help me…?" Kuroka questioned in a low tone.
"I will present your case to the four Maous, once they approve of this then you will be free." Itachi replied and reached his hand out to the nekomata. Kuroka looked at him in awe, and slowly reached her hand out before taking it back a little out of hesitation. "Trust me." Itachi said and Kuroka looked into his eyes that was filled with nothing but kindness, she then looked at his hand and reached out for it and grabbed it. "Let's go."
"Nya…" Kuroka accepted his offer.
The very next morning, Itachi was standing in front of the Four Maous with Kuroka by his side. "So, as you all can understand. She only did this to protect her little sister, she is not dangerous, she's just a loving older sister." Itachi said while bowing and Sirzechs looked through the file Itachi had taken from the office of Kuroka's former master. "Please, as older siblings yourself, surely you can understand."
"It-tan…" Serafall uttered with her face and eyes filled with sorrow, she then looked over to Sirzechs whom had a stern expression but his eyes were also filled with sorrow.
"Itachi-kun, although I can understand her reasoning she still killed her own master which would mean she is a Stray Devil. I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do on the matter." Sirzechs said as the leader of the underworld, not as a good friend whom would want nothing more than to help him out, which he did, but his duties as a Maou and the consideration he had to take for all devils came first.
"Very well then, you leave me with no choice." Itachi said while still bowing and they all looked at him in confusion, even Kuroka didn't know what he was planning. But she gave him a look that said it was okay, and that's she was happy for all he had tried to do for her and Shirone.
"What do you mean by that?" Ajuka asked, and the very next thing Itachi said shocked everyone.
"I will take her in as a part of my peerage. I will accept responsibility for her from now on." Itachi declared and all the Four Maous looked at him in shock and surprise, while Kuroka looked at him in awe. "You said the problem was that she was a Stray Devil, well if I take her in as a part of my peerage she wouldn't be considered a stray anymore, now would she?"
"Heh, leave it to you to find a way out of it." Sirzechs smirked and found no reason to object.
"But Sirzechs-chan, It-tan will-" Searfall was worried what would happen to her brother if he took in a Stray Devil as his peerage member.
"I have made up my mind, nee-san. I will accept all the consequences that follows with my decision." Itachi assured as he couldn't care less what people he didn't even care about thought of him.
"… Fine, do as you please…" Serafall sighed at how stubborn her precious little brother could be, well she would still love him regardless of his decision.
"Then I believe this is settled, unless the two of you have any objections?" Sirzechs looked over to Ajuka and Falbium.
"None here." Ajuka said with a small smirk.
"None here either." Falbium said.
"Thank you all very much." Itachi bowed.
As they were walking out of the meeting with the Maous, Kuroka looked at Itachi in awe over what he did. "You didn't have to do all that for me. Nya." She didn't want to cause any problems to Itachi whom had been nothing but nice to her and Shirone from what she had heard.
"I know, I wanted to." Itachi replied and stopped in the middle of the hallway and summoned forth a Queen piece in his hand. "I know that you originally took two bishops from your former master, but I assume since you have grown stronger since then, a Queen will suffice more than enough. I hereby welcome you, Kuroka, to my peerage and the household of Sitri." Itachi said and held the queen piece close to her chest as it began to glow, and entered her body.
"Are you sure you want to waste your queen on me? Nya." Kuroka questioned as she was fine with being given two Bishops pieces.
"I don't consider it a waste, you are powerful enough to take down a high-class devil, your definitely worth a queen." Itachi said as the old bishop pieces from Kuroka's former master fell out of her body and turned to dust. "You are a part of my family now, welcome." Itachi said with a warm loving smile and Kuroka could feel her heart beats increase.
She then gained a smile and jumped Itachi, hugging his right arm between her developing breasts. "You have peaked my interests, Itachi-sama, nya!" Kuroka purred like a cat while nuzzling her head up against his shoulder.
"Shall we go visit your sister? My sister is already at the Gremory mansion anyway so we might as well go." Itachi said and Kuroka just kept on purring.
"I will go anywhere you want me to go, nya." Kuroka replied and then let out a giggle.
"Very well then." Itachi formed the Sitri mark on her hand and then they teleported with a magic circle to the Gremory mansion.
Once they arrived everyone had a look of shock seeing Kuroka with Itachi and Shirone aka Koneko especially looked shocked, and when she called her onee-sama, everyone got on guard. "Relax, Kuroka is my new queen, she is a part of my peerage now." Itachi assured and they all looked at him in confusion while Kuroka just held onto Itachi's arms between her breasts which made Rias and Akeno looked a little jealous, and Sona looked angry, while Koneko looked warry and slightly conflicted over Kuroka hugging Itachi's arm like that.
"B-But she's a wanted criminal!" Rias pointed out the issue.
"She was pardoned today, because of this." Itachi threw the file onto the table and Rias and the other looked through it and widened their eyes in shock. "Kuroka and Shi- I mean Koneko's former master wanted to experiment on Koneko in his research to make Super Devils and Kuroka was forced to kill him. And then she was wrongfully accused of being power hungry. She did all this to protect her, and nothing more."
Koneko was shaking and looked at Kuroka with an expression that asked if this was true, and Kuroka simply looked down with a sad smile confirming it was. "Onee-sama!" Koneko ran up to Kuroka and hugged her while crying her heart out, Kuroka looked unsure of what to do here.
"Oh, come on, why are you crying Shirone? Nya." Kuroka looked at Koneko with a warm loving smile and Koneko looked at her with tears still running down her face. "Cheer up, Onee-chan is not going anywhere. Nya." Koneko then wiped her tears away with her hands, then Kuroka looked at her little sister with a teasing smirk. "By the way, onee-chan noticed how cute you looked when you saw me hugging Itachi-sama's arm. Better watch out, or else I might take him."
Koneko widened her eyes and blushed. "N-No it's not like that!" Koneko shouted and everyone whom didn't hear what Kuroka said had a look of confusion.
Then Kuroka leaped towards Itachi while hugging his arm once again between her breasts and looking at him with seductive eyes. "Hey, Itachi-sama, would you make a baby with me?"
"Huh?" Itachi questioned with his eyes slightly widened.
""EEEHHHHHHH?!"" Rias, Akeno and Sona shouted in unison while Koneko froze.
"H-Hey! Itachi is my fiancé! So back off!" Rias declared and grabbed Itachi's other arm. "If his going to make babies with anyone it's going to be me!"
"Ara, ara, it's not fair you all take him for yourself, I would very much like to make babies with him as well." Akeno giggled and wrapped her arms around Itachi while pressing her breasts up against his back.
Then to further Itachi's surprise, Koneko hugged him around the waist with her cute little face looking up at him. "My spot." Koneko said with a stoic face in an almost demanding tone also making him wonder what spot she was referring to.
"H-Hey! Let onii-sama go!" Sona shouted.
"Ohhh, are you perhaps a brocon?" Kuroka teased making Sona blush.
"Wh-Wh-Wh-What?! No I most certainly am not!" Sona shouted but all the girls gave her an expression that said "yeah, right." Which angered her further.
Itachi blinked his eyes repeatedly as he had come to the realization, all these girls had fallen in love with him. All he could think was how? And when had this happened? He then began recalling each and every conversation, he had saved Rias from the wolf when they were children and later on declared that he liked her for who she was, oh dear. With Akeno all he could think off was the conversation he had about her mother and father and when he encouraged her not to hate her for who she was because of her blood. With Koneko it was that one conversation in that tower when he told the story about those two brothers and talked about Kuroka and helped her get along with Rias and Akeno and bringing Kuroka back to her. And with Kuroka it was of course because he had helped her get pardoned and accepted her into his peerage. 'Oh, dear…' Itachi thought.
