Silence...
Everybody looked with wide eyes and shocked faces.
Amanda who saw how these women hugged and kissed her son, her man, what belonged to her, in front of her just like that without giving her any consideration as if she didn't exist made her finally snap.
She was already barely holding back from lashing at Andromeda when she knew that she was her son's wife, and besides, she didn't even think rationally to know how her son got married without informing her?
But due to her unstable mentality she didn't think about it and just couldn't accept any woman near her dear son that she came to consider him as her man.
Her eyes were filled with madness as they looked like two black holes indenting to suck anyone in them.
Ephildis and the others who saw her like this felt a quite resemblance between her and their husband, they looked eerily familiar until it clicked on their minds.
They looked at Austin for confirmation and he only nodded at them making them sigh and feel so awkward as they didn't want to meet her in this way.
They even glared at Austin for not telling them about it which he just smiled apologetically making them sigh even more.
They didn't know how they would process the situation right now.
"Who.are.you? Why you dared touch my son like that, hmm?" Amanda said with a deep menacing voice that looked like a demon from hell making them shudder much to Austin's amusement who enjoyed the scene in front of him.
Leona who noticed her husband's amused smile couldn't help but twitch her brows in annoyance.
'Is he enjoying the situation right now?!' she said inwardly before an idea struck her mind making her smile mischievously.
Walking forward, she stood in front of Amanda who was still glaring at them with her terrifying eyes.
"Cough, dear mother-in-law," hearing this term, made Amanda want to strangle the woman in front of her hard, she didn't like it.
"We are helpless women whom your son rescued in our dire situations, but then he forced us to become his women in exchange for his help, we were totally helpless and homeless, so this was the only way for us to survive in this world." Leona said with a 'sad' face that shocked the others, especially Austin who looked confused by what she said.
'Forced? Since when?!' he thought.
Ephildis, Mi Kyung-Cho, and the other wives immediately caught on her act and decided to keep up with her.
"She is right, he even said if we didn't want to stay homeless in this world, we better do something useful like warming his bed and m-more!" Mi Kyung-Cho said with 'fear' and 'helplessness' in her eyes as she shuddered.
"He even attacked us in the night and did this and that, that one of us got pregnant!" Ephildis said as she pointed at Tina who stood among them wearing her maid uniform.
Although she was mostly expressionless and professional, she touched her little swollen belly and looked at it with sad eyes.
'What the fuck?!' Austin cursed.
Almost all of his wives looked at him with angry faces and some even had 'tears' pouring out of their eyes.
Amanda who heard all of this couldn't find anything to refute them, although she loved her son so so so much and wanted to do this and that with him, she was still the gentle yet strict woman, and looking at Tina's swollen belly and those sad eyes she displayed, Amanda began to believe their story a little.
While on the side, Austin was completely baffled and bewildered by what his wives suddenly said. He thought that they would try to explain the situation between him and them to his mother and try to make her accept them as her daughter-in-laws, but didn't expect them to do this.
And yeah, he knew that they were just making it up, he knew them like the back of his hand to discover their little play.
'Just wait, I will punish each one of you tonight that you won't be able to walk out of bed tomorrow.' suddenly the women felt a shiver running down their spine out of the blue and instinctively knew that tonight, they should be ready for a hard punishment.
"Honey, is what they said true?" Amanda looked at Austin with those dark like abyss eyes wanting to confirm their accusations.
"Really mom?" He said with a flat expression.
"Huh?"
"Do you believe your son will do something like that?"
"Of course not, I know you enough to believe that you won't even consider a woman more than a lab experiment." Amanda said making the situation worse.
"What the—" Austin couldn't believe what he had just heard.
He immediately noticed his women looking at him with deadpan faces this time making him sigh in annoyance.
"That was in the past mom, now I changed."
Leona and the others be like: So you really thought of us as lab rats, huh.
Austin: ...
"So, they are right at what they said?"
"Damn it, of course not." Austin really felt annoyed this time and didn't want to argue further with his mom.
Leona who saw this stifled a laugh before she decided that this was enough.
"Well, I think this is enough mother-in-law." Leona said making Amanda look back at her with a confused look but her eyes hid a deep obsession, possessiveness and something darker as she looked at her.
Leona just shuddered a little as she thought those eyes resembled those yanderes from the manga that she had seen before.
'Am I imagining things?'
"What do you mean?"
"Actually, we are his wives, we fill in love with each other and things happened."
"All of you?" Amanda said as she looked at the number of women around until her gaze landed on Ephildis and Dinelynd who didn't bother hiding their long ears which made her think that they were just cosplaying or something.
"Yes, all of us, there are more, but they are not here."
Dark aura began seeping out of her body as she felt so angry that these women were like Andromeda.
'You dirty whores, you are real sluts coming after my son because of his sexy body and handsome face! I won't let any of you come near him again in the future.' She thought inwardly with dangerous expression on the face that promised death to these women.
But before everything went out of control, Austin pulled his mother into his embrace and caressed her back and long silky blonde hair tenderly before saying "Mom, there are things I have been hiding from you and want you to know about them, can we talk alone, just the two of us?" He muttered to her softly making her calm down as she inhaled his musky manly scent that worked like tranquilizer making her relax in his embrace.
Her mind seemed at ease and the heavy air disappeared making the women sigh in relief as they'd felt like hell would've descended upon them at that moment.
"Come on, let's go." Austin whispered in her ears making them instantly red before taking her to a quite, comfortable place to tell her a out what had happened to him till now.
And yeah, he decided to tell her everything from the beginning, but wanted to wait for the right moment, but due to her current situation, he decided to tell her, and as well help her in her mental instability.
He took her to the back yard in the garden surrounded by a lot of beautiful flowers that had so many different colors, some were even her favorite which made her pleased.
They sat on a soft cushioned seat that was hanging like a swing under a wide and huge umbrella.
They sat beside each other with Amanda hugging his right arm and resting her head on his shoulder.
The quite atmosphere accompanied by the chirping sounds of birds made it even more relaxing.
Amanda sighed softly before rising her head and looked at her son.
"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" She said.
Although she had many questions about those women who hugged and kissed him, she decided to ask him after he finished telling what he wanted to say.
Austin waited for a minute before rising his hand in front of them before under her watchful eyes, golden scales began appearing on it while his fingers turned into elegant yet sharp looking claws.
"!!"
This made Amanda so shocked and unable to comprehend what had just happened that she just opened her mouth wide unable to utter a word.
'Here goes nothing.' He thought.
