After changing his cloths and wrapping his eyes, Chiba arrived at Kushina's house. The hot Konoha sun was beating down on him overhead and the sound of construction could be heard throughout the village.
With everything now stable, the village could finally hold the funerals and the bottled up emotions were finally uncorkef. The people of Konoha were beginning to finally be able to grieve and start to get over the tragedy.
The one good thing about living in a war filled world was that the people were accustomed to loss, they were quick to accept their losses and move on but they never forget.
Chiba himself was rather unaffacted by the sadness, nobody he was acquainted with died after all. He was moving with more pep in his step, after awakening his Mangekyou's Blink ability, traveling around would become a lot easier.
The legendary Mangekyou ability, which should normally only be used as a desperate last resort to prevent blindness, was now being seen as simply a useful mode of transportation.
In addition to his two unique abilities, he can now use powerful Genjutsu and had a unique Susanoo. Chiba doubted he'd ever need to use them but it was nice to add to his repertoire.
Knocking on his masters door, Chiba waited. The bloodstains on the street where he fought off Danzo's gang still remained within eyesight, the entire village was being rebuilt so mopping up dry blood was a low priority.
After waiting a bit, the door swung open and the blonde haired Naruto answered, his vigilant faced turned into a childish grin upon seeing Chiba.
"I need to speak with your mother, may i come in" Chiba said stretching his hand out.
"Of course, come in!" Naruto pushed his hand forwards and placed the wooden token into Chiba's hand, allowing him to bypass the fuinjutsu that managed to somehow blocked out even his observation haki.
Walking into the house Chiba was glad to see that more personality had returned to it, it lost its dreary hospital colors and was decorated with over a hundred colorful flower bouquets.
So many civilians gave Minato gifts to congratulate his recovery, most gifts could be stored in storage seals but the flowers would wither so he had no choice but to leave them out.
Sitting on the couch eating popcorn, Kushina turned around to see her son bringing Chiba inside the house. The red headed womans expression immediately glowed into a happy smile before settling back down to a fake anger.
"So my disciple has finally come to visit me a week and a half later, you sure took your time!" Chiba immediately began scratching his head not knowing how to respond.
As he struggled to find the words to say, Kushina's expression softened before she stood up and took a deep bow.
"Thank you Chiba. Thank you for saving me, saving the leaf, healing my Husband and removing that pest Danzo!" Kushina had dropped her angry act and spoke with such sincerity that Chiba felt embarrassed.
"I merely did what any good disciple would do for their sensei! Speaking of being such a good disciple, i actually came here wishing to learn a specific seal..." Chiba's voice trailing off causing the bowing Kushina to look up in an understanding smile.
"I guess we did have a deal about me teaching you my clans Fuinjutsu, and you do deserve a reward. What is it that you want to learn?"
"The 8 trigram sealing technique..." as he said this, Kushina's eyes widen in suspicion as she looked at Chiba.
"Why would you want to learn the Fuinjutsu ment solely for sealing a creature inside of a human?" It was a fair question, that Fuinjutsu was the key to unlocking her own seal with Kurama, learning it could put the entire village at risk.
"Ive hit the plateau for natural strength, i have many powerful jutsu but i lack the chakra to use them properly. I need the Eight Trigram Sealing Technique to fix my Chakra problem." Chiba spoke resolutely without fault, Kushina didnt doubt the sincerity in his words but still let out a sigh as she thought about it.
Kushina's eyes locked into chiba, scanning his entire body as she was lost in thought. 'He's already one of the strongest Ninja's in history, is it really such a good idea to make him even stronger?'
Kushina loved Chiba and trusted him, but his constant need for power did alarm her. Thats when she remembered the conversation she had with Minato many years ago before his injuries.
"Your desire for power... Is it related to the Otsutsuki?" Chiba's eyes narrowed before relaxing, realizing Minato would obviously tell his wife about the Otsutsuki.
"You are correct. The Sage of the Six paths was a half Otsutsuki and half human, he was benevolent to the humans as he was partly one himself, but that isnt the case for the full blooded Otsutsuki. They simply see our planet as a resource they can harvest. To fend off this threat, i mustve become atleast as strong as the Sage of the Six paths!"
She didnt like the idea of more people knowing the key to cage on Kurama, but Chiba saved her families life and she did trust him. His reasoning for wanting it also made sense in her mind, if an outside threat on par with the Sage of the Sixth paths appeared, then you had to have godlike strength just to be able to contend.
"Alright then, ill explain in great detail how the Eight tri-" "Pardon my interruption Sensei, but ive grown since we've last trained together. All you need to do is perfom the Fuinjutsu just once."
Saying this, Chiba lifted the fabric around his eye to reveal a bright red eye that had a black star pattern! With his Mangekyou Sharingan and Observation Haki combo, Chiba knew he could instantly understand most Jutsu!

Giving her a hug, Chiba and Kushina said their goodbyes as he mentally crossed off another thing on his list and went to cross off another. Chiba walked into the Hokages office, bypassing the guards who tried to stop him with a casual blink.
Suddenly appearing in the Hokage's office, Anbu Ninja immediately pulled their weapons and shouted at him to stop.
"Thats enough, you guys can leave us alone." With a single word from Minato, the Anbu immediately disappeared in a flash,
Now that it was just the two of them left in the room, Chiba walked forwards as he spoke up.
"I have just fully recovered my Chakra network, that means i can heal yours as well." Minato's eyes widened, he'd been getting by without Chakra but it was very uncomfortable.
Walking over to the now standing Minato, Chiba lifted the blond mans shirt and stabbed his hands onto his stomach with zero regard. Minato grunted out but quickly realized their wasnt any pain, instead Chiba's hand had simply fused with Minato's stomach, connecting the two.
Minato was shocked out how blunt Chiba had become, instead of simply asking for permission he stabbed his Hokages chest! He didn't know what happened during Chiba's Coma but he'd become socially illiterate.
It took just ten minutes of Manipulating Minato's body to form new pathways, one better than before. As he finished, a bright smiled radiated off of Minato's face as he felt his chakra beginning to return.
"Thank you Chiba, i dont know how I can ever repay you." Slight tears began to pool in Minato's eyes, he owed Chiba a debt he felt like he could never repay.
"Well, If you truly want to repay me, there is something you can do" Now that Chiba regained his Chakra he can finally achieve his main goal, world peace!
