Blankly staring at the dark void around him, Chiba's body was completely naked and his star shaped eyes cried tears of blood.
His mental space was completely empty, he floated aimlessly with a dull look in his red and black eyes.
The feeling of solitude filled his entire being as the centuries of loneliness crushed his mind, he felt so worthless and insignificant.
Chiba didnt almost go insane, he full on went insane in that Simulated world. He tried killing himself hundreds of time, having his shadow clones destroy even the last drop of his blood in an instant but he always came revived since none it was physically real.
The simulated world was hell for Chiba, unable to die but also unable to live. He slowly realized that he literally had train 24/7, not because he wanted sttength but because he couldnt allowed himself a moment to think.
Like a mindless drone he began training every jutsu and ability he knew, even the useless and obscure ones just because they filled up his time.
When first awakening to the physical world, Chiba felt immense relief, not from being back but because he could finally get a chance to kill himself once and for all. That was when he was attacked.
Before he could even think, Chiba's frail chakraless body moved to dodge the attack from that Sand Ninjas. He dug her eye out and used it to see, all on reflex.
The sand Ninjas action might been malicious in nature, but it had awoke Chiba up to reality. Seeing the four ninja intent on killing him, Chiba had to stop himself from crying tears of Joy seeing another human.
He knew deep down, even on an instinctual level, that he didnt want to die!
He didnt know how long he stared into the emptiness, neither his newly acquired Mangekyou Sharingan or observation Haki could perceive anything other than darkness.
He appeared like he could stare into the dark for the rest of his life, and he probably would have, if not for the bright blue box flashed in his face.
Unlike the previous times where his system showed texted, instead a picture appeared in his vision.
It was of a little Koizumi picking up a sword for the first time, then it changed to the two of them at their favorite Dango shop, then graduation.
One by one more pictures that came from Chibas memories began to flash in fromt of his eyes, him comforting a crying Koizumu after her parents death, the first time she called him sensei.
Everything up until Chiba nearly dying to the invader flashed in his mind, just when he thought the slideshow was gonna end with him writing his goodbye letter to Koizumi, the slide show continued.
Unlike before where everything was in a first person perspective of Chiba's memories, now it was a third person of Koizumi.
It showed her crying over Chiba's burnt and destroyed body at the hospital, it showed her three tomoe turning into Mangekyou looking at his living corpse, and then her training.
One by one, images of Koizumi flashed on the screen. The blue box showed her growing up, he watched as her lifeless face grew the faintest smile seeing Chiba's body was slowly recovering.
The slide show contnued on until eventually arriving at the day after her fight with Ao, her beautiful eyes were now wrapped in fabric and her lively range filled demeanor had dissapeared.
Shed lost, and with her loss, so she had nothing. Without eyes and inability to get revenge, Koizumi had no reason to live.
Koizumi lived like a shell of her former self, forced by the patriarch to begin teaching at the academy and began her stagnation.
The slide show ended with the image of a nearly dead Koizumi holding Chiba's hand after her fight with Pakura, for the first time in years did a small flicker of light appear in Koizumi's face, that's when Chiba's eyes blinked and everything dissapeared.

Hearing the concerned Murmurs and hushed voices all around, consciousness returned to Chiba's eyes.
Looking at the crowd that had surrounded him and looked at him with concern, Chiba unconsciously called upon this strange chakra that dwelled within his eyes, and used his Mangekyou Sharingan for the first time!
'Shit im drawing attention, lets just get home before figuring out what happened.' Just as he thought about wanting to get home, a large chunk of chakra flashed into his left eye!
The star in his pentagram spun for a half second before his body dissapeared and he suddenly found himself back home!
Blood began to drop from his left eye, the shocked Chiba immediately used his Biokenisis to start healing his Mangekyou Sharingan as he grabbed a knife to look at his eyes in its reflection.
"Did i just teleport?" Chiba felt a strange intuition on how both of his eyes worked! A Mangekyou user didnt need to find out their ability, they already knew how they functioned.
Thinking back to the third ninja war, Chiba pictured the underwater base he and his team had raided for information. With that picture in mind, Chiba immediately funneled chakra into his left eye.
The star began spinning for three seconds this time before he suddenly dissapeared and the feeling the water rush upon him. Chiba immediately felt the curse of water weakness overcome his body as he could no longer move, still he used used his eyes to look around.
'Ah the base must've been destroyed by some other village, i guess i got to be more careful in the future when i use the Mangekyou.'
Chiba couldn't move his body, use his Devil fruit, or chakra but he could still use his upgraded system ability, Biokenisis! With the use of Biokenisis, a pair of fish like gills grew on his neck to breath. He'd long since trained in water within his simulated world.
'As for the Sharingans enhanced visual prowess... its still somewhat below that of Observation haki and it lacks the 360° perception. Although i suppose i could grow a dozen Sharingan around my body for 360° vision.'
If the Mangekyo Sharingan didn't cost any chakra, Chiba would've switched over to it but seeing as how it cost nearly as much chakra as his Observation Haki, he decided to stay with his Haki.
'I got a feeling what my right eye does, but i guess i should test it out here underwater.' Activating his right eye, a large amount of chakra poured into it as the world froze!
The waves, seaweed and even the fish all froze in there place! Chiba flew forward and turned around, only to see his body laying down on the ocean floor.
Looking down at himself, Chiba saw his hands were now a bluish see-through color!
"So it astral projection? Looks like I cant actually attack in this form but it'd be useful to stop time in an important situation to give me time to think. My observation haki is already great for reconnaissance but maybe i ca-" blinking slightly, Chiba looked down at the rubble of where the underwater base stood.
Down on the ocean floor, were the ghostly bodies of what appeared to be Mist and Lightning village ninja! Floating downward, Chiba moved closer to the ghostly green body and touch it.
Feeling his chakra drain and his body become even more transparent, suddenly the ghost body of the mist Ninja woke with a startle and jumped back from Chiba!
"A leaf ninja!" Chiba watched as the mist njnja began going through a series of handsigns before blowing outwards, only for nothing to happen.
"W-what!? Whats happening!" Looking down at his ghostly arms, the mist ninja looked around in shock.
'So in this astral form I can also speak with the dead, that might actually be useful depending on the circumstances.' With a thought, Chiba deactivated his Mangekyou and he appeared back into his physically body.
'These abilities look pretty useful, perhaps after I create a world of peace i can become a medium.' Chiba thought jokingly.
Using his Biokenisis, Chiba's skin began to close together. His lips fused together, his nostrils closed and every other hole on his body sealed together creating a waterproof barrier.
With everywhere sealed, Chiba simply detached his skin from his muscles and expelled the oxygen in his lungs! At this moment a dry, skinless Chiba, was sittimg inside of what was essentially a skin balloon!
Activating his left Mangekyou sharingan, the skinless Chiba suddenly teleported back to his house as his Biokenisis went into work healing his skin and eyes.
"Should I research and give my Mangekyou abilities a cool Japanese god name like they do in the anime?...I got better things to do, Ill just name my Left Mangekyou ability 'Blinķ' and my Right ability 'Soul Commune'. I'll have to test out their full capabilities later, for now ill have to talk to Kushina about that four corners Seal."
While the Sharingan abilities were useful, he already felt the drain they had on his immense chakra supply. All he needs now was to become the Jinchuriki of Genbu!
