"Don't text me, call me!" Baron Lawrence's dark eagle eyes fixed on her, and he said after a while, "I might not notice a text."
He rarely checks his phone during meetings, what if she texts him and he doesn't see it?
The frustration that had just subsided in his chest was about to surge again. Baron Lawrence furrowed his brows tightly, almost tying them into a knot.
Enna Clark extended her hand to smooth out his frown, quickly agreeing, "I understand, don't be angry."
"You know I'll get angry and yet you run around!" Baron Lawrence pulled down her hand, glaring at her with his eagle eyes.
Enna Clark wasn't afraid of his glare, she explained again nonchalantly, "I went out to get some water, I wasn't running around."
"There's water in the office."
Enna Clark struggled with her wrist, speaking gloomily, "I know. But I wanted honey water, not plain water."
