Aldana felt a bit conflicted. She didn't want to cast any shadows over the young minds of the children, so she nodded and said, "I'll ask him then if he's willing to go."
Even though they arrived two hours early, checking in the luggage for the two kids still made them feel short on time.
After sending the kids into the departure lounge, Eric looked at Aldana, who was standing there reluctantly looking towards the lounge, and said, "Let's go. Let's head back."
Aldana felt a bit of motherly concern, "Hey, do you think they might board the wrong plane?"
Eric replied, "Elias is with them."
"Elias is still young too."
"That kid's really sharp," Eric said. "With him there, nothing will go wrong."
Aldana nodded, "That's true..."
Both adults were blindly confident in Elias Moore.
Not even home yet, Aldana received a call from Ellen.
"Aldana, where are you now?" Ellen's voice sounded very murky and indistinct on the phone.
