"There's a dishwasher in the kitchen, you can just throw the leftovers in and use it. Do you know how to use it?"

Liam Summer smiled slightly, "No problem, I'll teach you."
The kitchen and dining area were separated by a pane of transparent glass.
Steven Balance leaned back in his chair, watching Aldana Candi earnestly learning how to use the dishwasher.
Sunlight streamed through the kitchen, falling on her fair skin, her lowered gaze and side profile evoking a plethora of beautiful words in one's heart.
Thump.
Steven Balance instinctively sat up straight from his chair.
Startled by the sudden, loud noise from his heart.
"What's wrong?"
Liam Summer walked out of the kitchen, noticing his friend's odd expression, he asked instinctively.
"My heart felt a bit uncomfortable."
Steven Balance stood up, rubbed his chest, the discomfort having settled down, but the unusual sound from moments ago still lingered in his mind.
