Flynn Taylor was about to bring over some fruit when he heard Lucas Hutt's words. He paused and turned back to sit in the living room to avoid disturbing Lucas's phone call.
Lucas Hutt talked with Tina Hernandez for about ten minutes. Tina's answer was that she needed another day to consider it.
Once she had made up her mind, she would call him back.
"I don't want to wait too long. If possible, I hope you can give me an answer within two days so that we can go through the divorce procedures on Monday or Tuesday," Lucas Hutt said before hanging up the phone.
Tina Hernandez didn't say anything and hung up.
It wasn't that she still had illusions about the marriage; rather, Madam Hutt had said it herself, she was sold to the Hutts. If she divorced Lucas privately, would it be considered treacherous?
If it were someone else, she wouldn't feel so guilty, but this person was Madam Hutt, an elder who had been so kind to her. Doing this would be very disrespectful to her.
