As the two kids made their way back outside, the two Descendants would be walking overhead. Zazel would be able to see them walk, confused as to why they were breaching in, even more so with the other two adults following in pursuit. He was about to ask such a question, but Alice merely pulled him along to the banquet hosted just shy of the Kingdom's doors. The feast was still ongoing, with the Heroes quickly coming back around and noticing the group. The Demon was able to pick up immediately how each would speak, as well as how they speak at all. Unlike Alice's, who's more formal, they take a drastic change.
"Oh my, A new guest has arrived?" The White Rabbit said, being the most normal, albeit with a rich accent, the first word being pronounced as if it was a new sentence.
"Not much, considering how time goes by." the Brown Hare replied, her voice a bit rougher, but still the same.
"mayhaps some tea can help calm him down? he sure seems weary." The Mouse squeaked, her voice unable to reach up high as the others, so she'd have to get close to be heard.
"No he isn't, he's Teary!" "Buffoon! That's usually what happens to people that are Dreary!" The armor beckoned, two voices escaping, one posh, the other stern.
"It Matters Not! Come! Come! We have suchsights for you!" The Hatter announced, his voice cracking between loud and soft, a cage in his personalized throat as he tries to break free.
"Do not mind them, they won't hurt us two!" Alice would finish, their small poem acting as a group effort in speaking.
"Ohhhhh you guys RHYME. How long have you guys been doing this?"
"Four scores, Seventeen years, Give or Take."
"Are you Sure? With those ears? I expected it a lot more late."
"i couldn't recall the last time since we had a guest pulled in."
"He got interest of the little kin." "Aye! That'd be for certain!"
"Don't you fret, he's a friend for me! He's my adorable new Kitty!"
"Your Kitty?" "How Grisly."
"His horns are sticking out so thickly!"
"Nevermind that! Look at his form! It's complete Misery!"
"Is he famished?"
"And quite Ravaged."
"he must be hungry!"
"Well C'mon, chap! Let's startdigging in!" The moment the Hatter finished his sentence, the entire group was quick on picking up the two children and carry them away, puzzling the demon further.
"SEVENTEEN YEARS!?" The Demon asked, having to be loud because of the fanfare burying his voice away.
"And four scores, give or take!" Alice responds, as she'd wave to the people of Calibren, her citizens, when they walk by.
"The heck is a score?!?!"
"Beats me! But it does sound pretty funny!"
As they talked, they get dragged towards one of the empty tables, as the group began to sing, hums and cheers to act as their personal percussion, whilst Zazel would be able to notice the two Descendants now in the far back, scaling up the very mountain that was behind the castle. Right as he was about to ask, he was pulled in to listen to their song. "What a fabulous day! Callooh! Callay!"
"From now to the end, with you and friends!"
"we are very happy to say, throughout the joyous, sunny day!"
"HAVE A VERY, MERRY, OH SO HAPPY UNBIRTHDAY!!"
"Unbirthday!?" Zazel would be caught off guard, a sign he has heard of no such thing, prompting the group of heroes to laugh. "Seriously!! What the hells an Unbirthday!?!?" His question would pause them, only to be laughed at again.
"You never heard of anUnbirthday?" "Foolish! Foolish! Everyone knows this day!"
"a holler and a hoot!"
"One that properly bears fruit!"
"An unbirthday is an EVERY DAY!"
Lost, Alice pitches in with her own rhyme to help let the boy understand. "Every one of us has a Birthday! Every day AFTERWARDS is an Unbirthday! Where we have one, there will be three hundred and sixty four others! No stutters! No shudders!"
"...Huh. I mean... I guess that does mean its-"
"YOUR UNBIRTHDAY!!!" A cacophony of cheers, as if to finish Zazel's sentence, while they sing once more, now in unison. "FANTASTIC DAY! CALLOOH! CALLAY! HAVE A VERY, MERRY, OH SO HAPPY UN! BIRTH! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!" The laughter they shared, the dances they make, they thrived on such knowledge. From the Hatter passing many hats around the area, to the White Rabbit and Brown Hare dancing as if they were in a ball, to the two armors rolling around and trying to wrestle one another, to the small mouse chirping and laughing quietly, whilst making sure the two kids get their cup of tea and some small snacks to accompany with.
Eventually, however, the other children do come over, watching such a scene unfold. "Hi Hi, Zazel! Nice jacket!!" Harvard shouted, as he'd come over to sit beside him, with Alice's unchanging smile being ever so bright, even more when she saw Applin, squealing as the two girls hugged each other and bounced around.
"Harvard! How did you guys-"
"I'd rather not answer that." Harvard's answer was quick as it was precise, but Solomon was able to reply for the Demon.
"We bribed a wedding for Harvard so we can get some information and a place to stay here." Solomon's smug grin would be matched with the Card Magician's malevolent stare, looking back at the Biblical Sorcerer with the rage of the sun. Stolas struggled to keep himself together from laughing at such absurdity, whilst Zazel would be slack-jawed in awe at what they did.
"Noooooooooooooooooooo... You're kidding."
"He's not. I'm getting back at you for this." Harvard's threats were only met with a wag of Solomon's finger.
"Uh, uh! You're trying to be a hero, yeah? Can't be petty over this."
"Can I say 'screw the rules' for this one time?"
"Nope!"
"OH C'MON!!!"
Zazel was starting to get more lost than what he had beforehand, tending to Stolas' intoxicating laughter, as the festival continued on until its end, where eventually, they'd be lead back to Calibren's Castle.
