"Was that really a wild bear?" Tsubaki muttered with labored breaths. She wipes the sweat trailing down her cheeks before looking down at her feet, a giant six limbs brown bear remained motionless on the ground. It had taken her everything to take it down, so she finds it hard to believes when Kousuke said it was originally a wild bear he forcefully kidnapped from the forest. Then she looks at her surrounding, it looks similar to Kuoh Town with the exception that it's deserted. They're currently in another layer of Imaginary Space, he had taken her here for the sole purpose of training her.
"Of course, why would I lie to you?" Kousuke said, the smile on his face seems genuine without a hint of doubt. "It was a wild bear before I did some slight modifications to its genetic code, making it multitude stronger than just your ordinary wild bear~"
Although he can't create anything in Imaginary Space, he can however brings people into it. With the wave of his hands, the corpse of the six limbs bear disappeared before a new one appearing in the distance. He only needs a single wild bear so that the space can copy its DNA and the rest is history. He had already dropped the original wild bear back to the forest where he took them, he even left some delicious orc meat it can eat when it wakes up from anesthesia. There shouldn't be any problem since he had already purified the miasma from the meat, making it no different than pig's meat. It might however tastes slightly sweet due to the residues of his Mana.
"So you can really do anything in this space," Akeno muttered with a slight hint of amazement in her tone. "I thought Issei exaggerated it for his friend, but he was actually telling the truth."
Obviously from the beginning, but the moment he decided to revealed his Sacred Gear to Issei, he was planning to do the same to his girlfriends. Especially for Akeno and Tsubaki since their strengths heavily relied on the Evil Pieces. Sure, they can still grow stronger by training normally, however that will takes time, and tons of it. With his Sacred Gear, he can speed up the progress and even gives them real combat experiences, hitting two birds with one stone so to say.
"Can't you just stay inside forever? If you want food, you can just make one and then copy paste it when you're hungry," Tsubaki asked when he handed her a bottle of energy drink. She immediately noticed how insane his Sacred Gear truly was, it seems to possessed some kind of abilities related to creation and physical laws that of Biblical God. If he wanted to, Kousuke could make a new Heaven from scratch.
"Yes, I could definitely just stay in this space if the apocalypse, but no such scenario will likely happen when we got countless gods and god-like beings still out there," Kousuke replied with a shrug, "And if they were the cause of the apocalypse, the world would've ended ages ago."
"That's true, even when the Great War happened in the past hundred years, it was mostly concentrated in Underworld and Earth was only brought into small skirmish thanks to Biblical God protecting the humans," Akeno muttered, recalling the history of Great War she learned from Rias. "But most people at the top should've realized that the Heaven had lost their leader long ago, yet why hadn't none of them make a move?"
"It's not like they didn't, but likely we can't see them as it might be happening in the background, even the Hero Faction once had Loki siding with them until I took care of him," Kousuke said. "They knew it wouldn't be wise to act so bold since Biblical God might leave behind some means of countermeasures to the Archangels. Even if that wasn't the case, they too have their own enemies to watch out for."
"...So that's why the Three Factions wanted to stopped the war between them once and for all? They're all weakened, especially the Heaven's side. But the same couldn't be said about the Pantheon." Tsubaki thought out loud. She wasn't really a big fan of having to watch out for herself every times she gets out of Kuoh Town. It seems some deranged mages enjoyed hunting reincarnated devils for the fun of it. Then there's also the exorcist bunch from the Church.
"Well, Ares at the very least is in a good shape when we spar a while ago. He is pretty gung ho about it, as to be expected from God of War. I'm just surprised Zeus hadn't done anything despite the rumors around that grumpy horny dog," Kousuke shared his thoughts with a chuckle. "But don't worry girls, I won't let anyone hurt you, not even the Gods."
"Oh my, is that what it means being a Hero is? protecting damsel in distress~" Akeno mumbles before pressing her weights against his chest with upturned eyes. When their eyes met, Kousuke bended his knees a little and kissed her lightly, which in turns, she softened instantly, leaning closer without thinking. Seeing this, Tsubaki feels a little bit of jealousy before she yelp, feeling her body suddenly being pulled toward him by some invisible power. When his lips separated from Akeno's, he turned toward her with a sly smirk.
"You know you looks adorable with a frown," He whispered while wrapping his arm around her slender waist. Now he had both beauties on each of his sides. Without waiting for her reply, he pulled her even closer and shut her mouth with a passionate kiss, and her body relaxed subconsciously. It had been a while since they last had some deep intimacy with him, so the two welcomes his attention with open legs, literally.
The wild bear who just respawn a while ago stood awkwardly in distance. It had thought of launching a sneak attack while its preys didn't noticed it just yet, but that was until its wild instinct flared up like crazy the moment it thought of approaching them. It simply groaned before sprinting on all its limbs towards the opposite of where they are. It doesn't recognized the surrounding buildings, and even felt foreign in this empty town.
