After the introduction to the head of the Fivindus clan, they did not seem like bad people themselves. They may look scary and have a bad reputation, but they might actually be good people.
I sat in the room my guide had provided me. The room had a king sized bed with pillow stuffing made from the softest feathers. The mattress was the softest thing I had ever laid on.
I sat on the bed, staring out the window. My mood soured as I thought of bad scenarios. I quickly shook them off before getting up to explore the estate.
Maybe Aylin was somewhere here and I could meet up with her. My guide told me I could go wherever I wanted as long as I did not leave the estate, and that if I wanted to leave, I just had to tell him.
The problem was that he completely forgot to tell me where I could find him. This guy was completely unreliable.
I ventured down the luxurious corridors and found a door that was different from the others. It had a golden crest of a beetle on it. I knocked to make sure no one was inside. The guide did say I could go wherever I pleased.
When my knocks went unanswered, I turned the doorknob and peeked inside. The room was dimly lit, with wax candles lining the walls. Shelves were filled with books, and then I caught a glimpse of someone sitting at a table. I sneaked into the library and approached the person at the desk. This library was not as impressive as the one in Landia, but it was still impressive.
It was a girl in a white robe. Her eyes were completely closed, her expression relaxed and cute. Her hair was snow white with hints of blue, a rare sight in this country. Her head rested on the table, with books stacked beside her. An open book lay in front of her. It seemed she had fallen asleep while reading.
I took a closer look at what she was reading. It was a fairytale about bunnies turning into humans and being hunted by angry mobs. I looked closer at her face, and she somehow resembled a small baby animal.
Her eyes twitched, then fluttered open. They were bright crimson and stared at me in confusion. I blinked, and suddenly she was gone. She was nowhere to be seen, even after I searched the library. I called out to her, apologizing if I had startled her, but she did not return.
I decided it was best to leave and continue my search for Aylin. I knocked on more doors, but no one answered. Eventually, someone told me to come in after I knocked.
Finally, I thought, someone who was actually in their room. But something felt off. The sounds and atmosphere were similar to a brothel. Still, I opened the door, since there was no one else in this forsaken building.
"It's gonna be your turn soon enough, missy," the man said while copulating with two girls on his bed. He was having sex with one while fingering the other. The sounds of their bodies and fluids mixing made me uncomfortable as I stood there watching.
Without turning around, he waved a finger, gesturing for me to come closer.
I considered leaving, but the girl he was with collapsed onto the bed, her body twitching after climaxing. He finally turned around, expecting another girl, but instead saw a messy haired boy with a disturbed expression.
The man did not seem bothered at all. He pulled away from the girls and approached me.
"Woah, woah, slow down there, buddy."
The man with blue hair and eyes combed his hair back with messy hands and introduced himself as Raye.
"How about you cover yourself before introductions," I said, trying not to look down.
"What is there to hide? Women are beautiful. The body is beautiful. We are meant to see it."
This guy was completely delusional, just like Devina had said. The Fivindus family really were savages.
"You yourself are very beautiful," he said, reaching toward my face.
I reacted quickly and dodged his cum covered hand.
"You're the type to play hard to get, hm? I dig it."
I just needed to ask this weirdo where to find my guide. But my guide never even told me his name. These people are savages.
"Do you know a guy who looks like he's about to fall asleep at any moment and has a sister?"
The naked man pondered before finally answering.
"Luky?"
"Luky?"
"Oh yeah, Luky. He's in the room at the end of the second floor corridor."
Once I had the information, I disappeared from Raye's sight. I went up to the second floor and bumped into a few maids who greeted me with smiles. I reached the final corridor and knocked on the door.
My guide opened it, wrapped in a blanket.
"I want to see Aylin. Can you take me to her?"
He rubbed his eye and asked why I had come so late.
"It's 6 PM. And why haven't you introduced yourself? You're supposed to be my guide, yet you never even said your name."
He groaned and told me to keep my voice down or he would have to deal with trouble again.
"The name's Lukas Fivindus. I'm your guide for this year. That's good enough, right?"
I sighed and asked him about Aylin again.
"Can't you come back in like five hours?"
"That would be 11 PM. Everyone would be asleep."
"Right… fine."
He sighed, rubbed his eyes, threw the blanket back onto the bed, and told me to follow him.
We moved at a snail's pace through the long corridors. After fifteen minutes, I finally saw Aylin. She looked happy and relaxed. We sat together in the Fivindus restaurant and ate.
I asked how things had been for her. She said Rei had been introducing her to kind people and that she was having a lot of fun.
"Is that so…"
"How about you? How have things been?"
I laughed awkwardly and rested my head on the table.
"First my guide forgets important information, then I run into someone who vanishes, and then I meet a sex maniac."
"Oh… I could introduce you to the people I met if you want?"
"Really?"
"Yeah. I just need to ask Rei."
"That guide of yours, is she nice?"
"Yeah. She's really kind and sweet. She reminds me of Fiviana."
So it was just me she did not want to talk to. I glanced at the guides' table and saw Lukas sleeping and Rei eating elegantly.
"How are you sure they'll let us tour together? I'm sure Rei would allow it if I ask nicely."
After dinner, Aylin approached her guide and asked if we could tour together. Rei seemed skeptical at first and consulted Lukas before agreeing, as long as both guides accompanied us.
