A few hours after escaping Shimotsuki, and the monster hoard thanks to a Kaiju.
Yuuka: Guys, we're here.
The evacuation convoy where the Higanbana girls as well as Atsuo & Aiya and Itsuki & Keiko were in, had arrived at their destination.
Evacuation Camp Aka.
Upon arriving and the busses have now stopped, Kotori began transmitting instructions through Akuma Castle Robo.
"Everyone when existing your vehicles, please walk out slowly so no one would get hurt. Once you've left your vehicle, you may enter the main camp and—"
Natsuki: I hope Mom and Dad are okay.
Shino & Sachi: Yeah...
While Kotori was giving her announcement. Natsuki, Shino and Sachi couldn't help but feel worried about their parents, especially Shino and Yuuka considering their parents were most likely injured.
Yuuka: Let's try to find out parents then.
Miku: Yeah. They're all probably here, let's follow Onee-chan's instructions.
Natsuki, Shinon& Sachi: Nod~
A few minutes later~
Following Kotori's instructions, the Higanbana girls as well as Itsuki and Keiko grouped up with Atsuo and Aiya ad they left the bus.
After existing they've entered the camp and upon doing so Atsuo began giving his own instructions.
Atsuo: Listen kids, you all need to find your families. Sachi and Shino your parents are getting treated in a medical shelter over there.
Atsuo pointed towards at a group of multiple big orange tents.
Atsuo: If you two ask the Council medics for your parent's names they'll bring you to them.
Shino & Sachi: Thank you Uncle!
Now that they know where their parents could be, Shino and Sachi were about to separate from the group.
Shino: We'll see you guys later.
Sachi: Please excuse us.
The two bowed before going to the medical shelters.
Atsuo: Yuuka, Natsuki-san, Chikao-san you three will be sticking with us until we find your parents.
Yuuka: Thank you Uncle, I just hope they're here as well.
Natsuki: Don't worry Yuuka, we'll find your parents. They had been evacuated first and probably with my parents too.
Yuuka: Yeah...
Chikao: I don't have parents, so I'll be staying with you guys teh whole time.
Aiya: Fine with us.
Miku: What about these two?
With Shino and Sachi now in search for their parents at the medical shelters and Yuuka, Natsuki and Chikao with her family. Miku got worried about Itsuki and Keiko.
Itsuki: It's alright. Our parents never lived in Shimotsuki anyways, so they're probably at a different camp...
Keiko: Yeah... I just hope they're okay though, but we'll be okay.
The two of them were definitely worried but stayed hopeful that their families were safe at a different camp.
Itsuki: We'll just get assigned to a different shelter.
Keiko: Yeah. Let's go, Itsuki.
Itsuki: Got it.
Itsuki & Keiko: See you guys later.
With a sad tone as they said their goodbye's for the time being and walked away.
All 6: ...
Aiya: Let's go find your parents now.
Natsuki & Yuuka: Okay.
And so what's left of the group started wandering to find Natsuki's and Yuuka's parents.
At the Medical Shelter*
Shino & Sachi: Excuse us!
At the medical shelter, Shino and Sachi approached the receptionist that was stationed there.
Receptionist: Hello, do you two need some medical assistance?
Shino: No, we're searching for our parents and we were told we could find them here.
Seeing that the two girls were in search for their parents, the Council doctor immediately started helping them.
Receptionist: I see, what are the names of your parents?
Shino: Tanaka Genta and Tanaka Shiro.
Sachi: Saki Hachi.
After telling the names of their parents, the receptionist began looking through the papers and very quickly found their names.
Receptionist: Okay here, Hachi Saki is resting at room 13 and Tanaka Shiro and Tanaka Genta is also currently resting at room 9.
Shino & Sachi: Thank you!
After knowing where they parents were now, the two began walking to the rooms.
Shino: I'll see you later, Sachi.
Sachi: Same here, Shino.
Now that they've gotten close to their parents rooms, the two of them separated and entered the rooms.
Creak~
Shino: Mom! Dad!
Upon entering room 9 Shino immediately saw her mom sitting down beside her father who was laying down with bandages around his arms and upper body and ran to them in a hurry.
Shiro & Genta: Shino!
After hearing their daughter's voice, Shiro and Gentai got up and looked dat their daughter's direction.
Hug!
And upon reaching them, Shino opened her arms and pulled them into a hug.
Shino: I heard you two were injured! I'm glad you two are okay...
Shino was so glad that her parents were alive that she began shedding tears.
Meanwhile~ At room 13*
Sachi: WAAAAAAAAAAAH! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE ALIVE MOM! IS YOUR ARM OKAY?!
Sachi was overjoyed that she began crying in her mother's arms.
Hachi: There, there. Please don't cry Sachi, I'm more glad that you're safe.
After a few minutes both Shino and Sachi had calmed down and began talking to their parents.
Shiro & Hachi: Are your arms hurt Shino/Sachi?
Genta & hachi: They're very dirty and looked scratched, you should your arms cleaned before they get infected.
The three parents showed concern for their daughters who seem to be injured.
Shino & Sachi: No we're not injured...
But because they mentioned their arms, Shino and Sachi both looked at them with saddened expressions.
Gentai, Shiro & Hachi: Shino/Sachi? Did something happened?
The two knew they couldn't hide it from their parents, so with heavy hearts and holding back their tears. They confessed on what had happened.
Meanwhile~
Natsuki & Yuuka: Mom! Dad!
At the same time, Natsuki and Yuuka had found their parents safe and uninjured as they were walking around the camp.
Katsuki & Satsuki: Natsuki!
Yuuki & Jin: Yuuka!
The two girls and their parents ran to each other with open arms whole barely holding their tears.
Katsuki: Natsuki! Thank goodness you're okay!
Satsuki: We're sorry we left you behind! It must've been scary... I'm glad you're safe!!
Natsuki: Yeah, same here.
Natsuki's parents hugged their daughter tightly as if they weren't going to let her go.
And as for Yuuka's parents.
Yuuki: Sob~ I'm sorry Yuuka! I promise I won't treat you so harshly ever again!
Yuuka's Mom was sobbing while apologizing to Yuuka.
Yuuka: M-Mom?!
Yuuki: I'm sorry for treating you so harshly the past week! You've been through so much yet I got mad without knowing anything!!! Sob~
Yuuka: D-Dad?
Yuuka didn't understand what was going on with her mom, so she turned to her father.
Jin: Your Mom here was worried sick when we saw those monsters appearing at the direction of your school.
Yuuka: Oh...
Jin: And when we were being evacuated, she began looking back the past week since the incident happened... And she and I felt guilty for...
Yuuka: I understand.
Both Yuuki and Jin were ashamed for how they treated their daughter ever since the learned about what happened between them and Kaneki.
Even when they learned the truth, they still looked at her with disappointed eyes.
So when the monsters appeared at the direction of Mato High, the memories ofnhowbtg treated her and the thoughts of her possibly dying began eating at them.
Yuuki: I'm sorry Yuuka... I promise to treat you better...
Yuuka: It's alright Mom, and I'm sorry... It's also my fault anyways for not telling you both sooner.
Yuuki: I'm just glad you're okay!

The Mirai family all shared a tight hug with each other.
Satsuki: You're Kaneki-kun's and Miku-chan's parents right?
Katsuki: Yeah we talked before over the phone right?
Katsuki's parents approached Atsuo and Aiya once they had realized who Natsuki came with.
Atsuo: Yes. My name is Higanbana Atsuo.
Aiya: And I'm Higanbana Aiya...
After the two of them introduced themselves to Natsuki's parents, Yuuka's own parents finally noticed them.
Yuuki & Jin: Atsuo?
Aiya: Hello...
Atsuo: Hey you two... I'm glad you're both alright...
Yuuki: Hold on...
Seeing that the two had a sad expressions on their faces, Yuuki looked beside them seeing both Miku and Chikao. But not Kaneki.
Jin: Hey... Why isn't Kaneki with any of you?
Jin as well as Natsuki's parents noticed Kaneki not being with them.
Satsuki: Hey he's right, Kaneki-kun isn't here... Is he being treated?
The four adults looked worried, and sadly.
Natsuki & Yuuka: Mom... Dad... Kaneki is—
Atsuo: Kaneki is gone...
All 4: !!!
Before Natsuki and Yuuka could tell their parents, Atsuo said it without any hesitation and the four adults were stunned now that they learned that Kaneki was dead.
Jin: Atsuo...
Atsuo: That's all I'll say... I rather not talk about it.
And almost immediately Atsuo started getting distressed again.
Shake~
Miku: Dad?
Aiya: Dear?
Both Miku and Aiya noticed Atsuo's body beginning to shiver, making them worried.
Atsuo: Sigh~ Excuse me, I'm going to need to drink something.
Atsuo then left to drown his sorrows by drinking.
Aiya: Miku, Chi-chan please stay with your friends okay? I'll watch over Atsuo.
Miku: Sure Mom.
Aiya then followed to make sure Atsuo wouldn't cause any trouble.
Miku, Chikao, Yuuka & Natsuki: ...
After Atsuo left, the four Higanbana girls stared at him as they were all remembering the same thing.

Kaneki: I'm... sorry for this.

Kaneki: SAVE YOURSELVES!

Miku: I thought you didn't want Dad to be sad... Onii-chan.
Yuuki, Jin, Katsuki & Satsuki: ...
With the girls all sad with the boy they love being dead, the adults tried to cheer them up.
Satsuki: Hey you girls can have these, they might help cheer you up.
Satsuki took out some sweet candy he had brought with him and offered them to the girls.
Natsuki: Dad... Now's not the time.
Miku: Sorry I'm not in the mood for sweets right now.
But clearly they weren't in the mood for sweets at the moment.
Satsuki: Oh...
Yuuki: Do you girls need to talk or...
Jin: Yeah we'll listen to all of you.
Katsuki: If you need anything you can talk to us.
The other three then tried offering to talk to them, which also didn't work.
Yuuka: Mom I don't think I want to talk right now.
Chikao: What's there to talk about? Even if you try and reassure us... How can things get any better?
Chikao in particular really didn't want to talk as to her it was completely pointless with Kaneki gone and the world ending.
Natsuki: Is there any place where we can try to relax?
And as for Natsuki, she wanted to try and relax.
Jin: There's a river that way, but don't—
Natsuki: I'm not planning to. I just want to sit down, so? You three want to come with me?
Miku: Sure...
Yuuka & Chikao: That sounds good...
With her friends on board, Natsuki began leading them to the river where Jin pointed too.
Yuuka: We'll see you all later, we... Just need some time.
Seeing the girls leave wanting some time alone, the four adults respected their wishes.

Miku: Oh you two are here too?
They had arrived at the river, and to their surprise both Shino and Sachi sitting by the water.
Shino & Sachi: Oh hey guys.
Yuuka: Did you two found your parents?
Sachi: Yeah. Mom was hit in the head by some debris, but she's doing well.
Shino: Mom was mostly uninjured thanks to dad, but yeah... He is a lot more injured but recovering. What about you guys?
Yuuka: My Mom and Dad are safe.
Natsuki: Mine are safe as well.
Sachi: Glad to hear... You guys are here because you want to try and get something out of your minds and relax right?
All 4: Yup.
Shino and Sachi were also at the river to try relax.
Natsuki and the other three sat with Shino and Sachi, staring at the calm river trying to relax.
All 6: ...
Tear~
However they could no longer hold their tears back any longer.
Natsuki: Kaneki... Why...
The six of them began crying as their memories of Kaneki began flooding their minds.
From first meeting him, to getting to know him and all of the times they spent together with him.
All of the good and sad times all came at once, and being overwh by these memories.
All 6: Sob~
The Higanbana girls all silently cried knowing Kaneki was really gone, and there was nothing they can do.
Natsuki: Kaneki... Please come back to us...
Meanwhile~
Around the same time.
Kotori: DAMNIT!
Kotori had received news that even more monsters were appearing at a hundred more countries and the estimated deaths have reached around 837 Million people.
Which made her very stressed and upset.
Kotori: These monsters are multiplying faster than we could ever imagine... And there's only one of those Kaiju's that are able to harm and kill them...
Knowing that rising death is growing faster than expected, Kotori had only one idea on how to try to prevent more people from dying.
Kotori: We need that Kaiju.
And that was using the Kaiju that saved Shimotsuki's evacuation.
Kotori: I'll name you, Kaijira
