While Higanbana girls were spending time with Kaneki at the park.
Kotori: Oh! That's good to hear, stay safe okay?
Kotori was attending school as usual, and she was currently out of class because she was called by Miku.
Querxes: Kotori are you done?
Kotori: Yup! I'm coming back in.
After finishing the call, Kotori placed her phone back into her pocket and entered the the classroom and sitting back in her desk.
Querxes: Back to our lesson—
And she listened focused on the lessons that Querxes was giving.

As well as focusing on the doors of Class 1-C, because there was something off about them.
(The doors haven't once shaked yesterday or last night.)
Ever since the previous day when they discovered Ryueki's second personality, the doors never moved shaked ok their usual time.
And it wasn't just in Japan, there were no other reports from around the world about the shaking doors.
(Those shaking doors might hold the key to restoring Kaneki-chan, I HAVE to see what's on the other side.)
Fully convinced that the shaking doors are related to Kaneki in some way, Kotori was keeping an eye on them the entire lesson while listening closely.
A few hours later~ lunch time*
Lunch time has arrived and Kotori who'd usually eat with her friends.

She was eating lunch while still staring at the doors.

Keiko: Did any of you encountered the shaking doors?

???: It spooked me when I was taking a shower the other day!

Hearing her classmates wanting to help her caught Kotori's attention.

Kotori smirked upon hearing that and responded saying:
Kotori: Fine I'll allow you guys to help, I'll give you all one simple instruction: if you see a door shaking open it with all your might.

Kotori: Don't say roger, non of youbare soldiers... Well thank you all for willing to help us.
After thanking her classmates.

Kotori thought of something.
(Wait... Maybe Mama can communicate with Kaneki-chan again?)
Now that she knew that Kaneki was can move more and do things like crying, she thought maybe communication between those two were possible.

Kotori: Know what? I'm gonna go for a walk after school I need to relax for a bit.
With a plan to try and get Kaneki to talk to Tohru in mind, Kotori decided to take a break after school once she told her parents about her plan.
(Well with that in mind, I'll just focus on the doors and my studies now. I hope those girls having fun with Kaneki-chan.)

Around the same time, the Higanbana girls and Kaneki were currently on a maglev train heading to Tokyo.
The reason?
Miku: So... Why are we going to an aquarium again?
It was to go on an aquarium, and the one who suggested it was— Sachi.
Shino: Seriously... I can't believe you were able to talk us into going to an aquarium in Tokyo, Sachi.
Sachi: Hey I have no ulterior motive, I suggested it for Kaneki.

Her friends didn't believe her reason for wanting to go to the an aquarium in a faraway city was for Kaneki's sake.
Sachi: What do you guys take me for?
But she was completely serious.
Sachi: Besides I actually... I actually secretly made plans for us to go on a trip to Tokyo after the reconcilation plan was a success.
All 5: Eh?
Natsuki: You did?
Sachi: Yeah... I thought sight seeing in a different city and go on a aquarium date would be nice, Oh! And also I wanted to see a certain district in Tokyo as well.
Natsuki: Which is?
Miku: It's definitely gonna be some kind of location you've seen in an anime.

Miku was completely spot on.
Sachi: Yeah it's true, but the district I wanted to go to is actually the same district Kaneki's favorite characters lived in.

The Higanbana girls were at the very front of their train cart of the maglev train which also had a handicap spot perfect for people like Kaneki who were on wheelchairs.
Kaneki's wheelchair was safely secured so there was nothing to worry about.
Sachi: Well that's good. Hm... Although to be honest I kinda wishes we went around spring.
Natsuki: It's about the Sakura flowers isn't it?
Sachi: Yup!
Chikao: By the way... How long is this trip going to take?
Yuuka: Don't worry Chi-chan, we'll arrive at around 50 minutes.
Shino: We could also take our plans to do Karaoke and other things at Tokyo as well.
Miku: Plus we already have some help for transportation when we need to get back, isn't that right? Kamakura?

All 6: We're in Tokyo!!!
The Higanbana girls and Kaneki had arrived in Tokyo.
Natsuki: So where do we go now?
Sachi tok out her phone and checked their location.
Sachi: We're currently in the XXXX station, we're actually pretty close to the aquarium, it will only take a few minutes by foot.
Shino: Are you looking forward to the aquarium, Kaneki?
Kaneki: ...
Miku: What are we waiting for? Let's get going!
The Higanbana girls then went to the aquarium with Kaneki.
2 hours and 10 Minutes later~
All 6: Haa~ That was fun.
The Higanbana girls had a ton of fun as they left the aquarium, they recalled everything that they had saw inside.
Miku: Those penguins looked so cute.
Natsuki: And there were so many beautiful fish that I've never seen before.
Yuuka: Don't forget the whale sharks, those things were so massive. I wonder how they were brought in?
Shino: Who knows? But it was so much fun, it even looked like Kaneki had fun as well.

Kaneki for the entire time they were in the aquarium was quite relaxed, he would occasionally move his eyes and head to look around and sometimes look at them.
And to the Higanbana girls, it looked like he was having fun and was recovering well.
Natsuki: But who would've expected that the aquarium would have a collaboration with "Me and My Childhood friend were the Hero and Demon Queen in our past life"? Kaneki would've been jumping with excitement when he saw the merch in the gift shop.
Chikao: Haha~ Yeah you definitely would've done that, right Kaneki?

When found out about the collaboration, the Higanbana girls had to get Kaneki something from the gift shop.
Shino: I hope you like your new bracelet, we even got some ourselves so we all match.
They bought him a navy blue bracelet with a black lightning design which they had put on his right arm.
And they had bought themselves similar rose colored bracelets with white lightning.
Natsuki: Wow, you have the most bracelets out of all of us, Shino. It's from Kaneki isn't it?
Shino: Yeah... Kaneki gave it to me a few years ago on my birthday, it's one of my most treasured things.
Chikao: Ooo~ Kaneki do you hear that? Shino treasures the bracelet you gave her.
Shino: Chi-chan!!!
Miku: Don't look super flustered Shino-Oneechan, besides I'm probably the one Kaneki loves the most since he got me the most gifts.
Natsuki: Haha~ that's not true Miku, Kaneki loves all of us.
Miku: Hehe~ I know.
Yuuka: Hey guys look at Kaneki.

The Higanbana girls all looked at Kaneki and immediately noticed what he was doing, blushing.
Kaneki's cheeks were a bit pink and the only explanation was, he heard everything and had gotten flustered.

Sachi: Alright! To Harumi we go!
And with their trip to the aquarium over, the Higanbana girls were now going to Harumi to go sight seeing with Kaneki.
2 hours later~
The shortest route that Sachi chose to lead her friends to Harumi took over 2 hours and the time was now around 4 P.M.
Yuuka: Haa~ I can't believe we actually walked two hours to come hear.
Upon arriving the most of them sat at nearby benches as they were very exhausted from walking.

Shino: Well at least we got some good exercise.
Chikao: I hope Natsuki and Miku don't get lost finding vending machines.
Shino: Don't worry too much Chi-chan, Ku-kun is accompanying them.

Shino: Oh speaking of them, here they come.
With the loud sound of Ku-kun's wings being heard close by, Natsuki and Miku quickly came into view.
Miku: We're back everyone!
Natsuki: We've got some Sakura cola for everyone.
Natsuki and Miku began handing their friends their soda cans once they had returned, and as for Ku-kun.

But all he could receive was silence.

He was very concerned for his friend, and the only one who was actually against the trip.

Though Ku-kun wasn't happy about the Higanbana girls bringing Kaneki on a trip, he changed his mind after seeing their eyes before jumping back into the shadows where the rest of the Beast Knights watched them from.
Chikao: What was that all about?
Yuuka: Do our eyes look anything like Kaneki's?
They took Ku-kun's words literally as they looked at Kaneki's eyes the at each other.
All 6: Nah. That's not the case.
Sachi: Well then! Let's all drink and continue our sight seeing!
All 5: Yeah!
10 Minutes later~
After drinking their soda's the Higanbana girls began walking around Harumi seeing certain spots.
But there was one problem.
Miku: To be honest I was expecting something else.
Shino: Yeah, was there really something from Kaneki's favorite manga and the anime you were talking about here Sachi?
Sachi didn't noticed any familiar spots for 10 which caught her friends attention.
Sachi: Wait... Maybe?

Sachi took out her phone and after a little bit.
Sachi: Damn... I really am dumb.
Sachi made an embarrassed look on her face as she realized she made a huge error in her planning.

Sachi: So... When I planned this trip to Harumi, I only I only saw a few similarities from the anime I watched and Kaneki's manga, that being a spot where there were trees neaby the water... And it turns it the spots were actually in... The Tsukuda district.
All 5: Oh.
Miku: Bakachi-Oneechan.
Sachi: Sigh~ Yeah I deserve that, I am so sorry for that everyone.
Yuuka: It's alright, c'mon let's go there then.
Shino: And once we're done, Karaoke we go!
Natsuki: You're really looking forward to the Karaoke huh? Shino?

After a long walk, the Higanbana girls had reached their destination.

As they were walking through the park, Kaneki was looking out towards the water and the nearby trees.

Yuuka: Yeah. I can see why you wanted to check this place out.
Natsuki: Actually what was that anime you mentioned about Sachi?

Sachi: Oh it's a romance anime about a popular and cute girl.
All 5: Yeah?

Sachi: I won't spoil, but I can confidently say that it's the type Kaneki would most enjoy.

Sachi: Well he does love "Me and My Childhood friend were the Hero and Demon Queen in our past life" which has a lot of wholesome scenes so Kaiju boy sweetness also has a lot of wholesome scenes too.
Miku: You should show to Onii-chan, if what you say is true then he'll absolutely love it.
Chikao: Maybe we could watch it all together, it could be more romantic.

As the Higanbana girls were talking, Kaneki turned his head away from the trees and water and to the other side.

The Higanbana girls looked at the direction he was looking at and saw a kid running towards her parents.
???: Mama! Papa!
???: Did you have fun playing with your friends?
???: Yeah! It was so much fun!
???: Let's go home now, it's getting late.
???: Okay~ Can we have hamburg steak for dinner?
???: Sure dear.
???: Yay!
The kid held onto her parents hands as they went home.
All 6: ...
The Higanbana girls seeing this turned their sights back to Kaneki's face and immediately noticed tears running down his eyes.
All 6: Smile~
They all smiled wryly after seeing him cry.
Shino: Know what? Chi-chan you can hold hold onto Kaneki.
Chikao: Sure.
After Shino let Chikao take Kaneki's chair, she got in front of everyone before.
Shino: Clap! Alright everyone, let's proceed with out plans.
Following Shino's words, they all continued with their plans.
A few hours later~
The Higanbana girls continued their walk with Kaneki around Ishikawajima park and sat down until the sun went down.
Once they were done in Ishikawajima park, they went to a nearby Karaoke bar where they sang songs and had dinner.
And after finishing their time at the Karaoke bar, they went back to Ishikawajima park near the water and were admiring the city lights and the star filled sky.
Kaneki: ...
Natsuki: The stars looks so beautiful tonight.
Yuuka: Yeah.
Shino: Although, Kaneki seems to be admiring the city more than the night sky.
Compared to the rest of them who were looking towards the stars, Kaneki was looking towards the city.
Tear~
And as he was staring at the city lights, tears began rolling down his eyes once more.
All 6: Sigh~
They all let out a sigh not out of disappointment but worry, they thought Kaneki was sad that he couldn't experience his trip with them properly.
Chikao: It's alright Kaneki, we can come here again next time.
Yuuka: That's right, you don't need to feel guilty or sad about going on this trip with us. Kaneki.
Shino: Once you get better it's going to be a lot more fun!
Sachi: So you better recover well okay?
Natsuki & Miku: Just don't push yourself too hard okay?

After once again trying to reassure him, the Higanbana girls all gently hugged Kaneki.
Shino: Alright so it's getting really late now, we should all go home.

Kamakura appeared from the water as soon the Higanbana girls all decided to go home.
Kamakura: Okay, we're all heading home right? You girls better hang tight on Kaneki.

Kamakura: Good! Time to go home! Darkness travel!

Kamakura immediately used darkness travel once the Higanbana girls held onto Kaneki's wheelchair tightly and began teleporting everyone back to Shimotsuki.

Kamakura: I teleported you all close to the Higanbana house, you all can walk back on your own.
After dropping the Higanbana girls off, Kamakura returned to the darkness.

And after he left to watch them in the shadows, the Higanbana girls began walking back to o the Higanbana house while happily chatting.
Natsuki: Man! That was so much fun!
Miku: Yeah, thank you Sachi-Oneechan for planning about this trip.
Sachi: Hehe~
Sachi proudly chuckled as she was being praised.
Chikao: Although she almost got us lost.
Yuuka: Yeah Sachi should've done more research.
Shino: Haha~ Sachi hasn't changed that much didn't she?
