All 6: Let's go!
With Kaneki's body miraculously getting up in his bed, the Higanbana girls were given permission to skip school by their parents.
And with that they made plans to go out and go sight seeing with Kaneki, obviously they had to get him checked by the Council doctors first
And after the check up they gave them the thumbs up and Atsuo had placed his son into the wheelchair provided for them.
Atsuo: Keep Kaneki safe okay?!
All 6: We will!
Atsuo was understandably worried considering Kaneki hasn't fully recovered.
Atsuo: Should we follow them? Just to make sure they're safe.
Aiya: It's alright dear, besides Kotori already told us that she had ordered some of the agents here in Shimotsuki to watch over them.
Atsuo: But still... Sigh~ Fine.
As worried as he was, Atsuo had put his trust to the girls to take care of and keep Kaneki safe.
Aiya: C'mon let's go inside, I'll make some tea.
Atsuo: Nod~
Following his wife's suggestion, Atsuo followed her back inside of their home.
Meanwhile~
Natsuki: Looks like Kaneki is completely fed.
Miku: This wheelchair is so helpful!
The wheelchair Kaneki was put in had a few medical equipment to help monitor Kaneki's health and even had a feeding tube to give his body so he could get the proper nutrition he needs to recover.
Sachi: So our first stop is the park right?
Yuuka: Yup. It will take us a while since we'll have to be careful, but which part of the park should we go to?
Shino: We can just walk around, the tree's are probably really orange by now.
Chikao: We could go to the pond, we might see a school of koi fishes and some ducks as well.
Sachi being excited to spend time with Kaneki, looked at him.
Sachi: You hear that Kaneki? We're gonna go to the park, do you want to go?
She went in front of him and asked with a smile knowing he wouldn't really respond, but to her and her friends surprise.
Tilt~
Kaneki's expressionless head tilted up and his eyes looked directly at Sachi's face.
All 6: He moved?!
They were surprised to see Kaneki move on his own.
Lower~
But immediately after his head went back down and he stared blankly in front him.
Miku: See! I told you Onii-chan did move!
Sachi: Although it looks like his movements are limited.
Natsuki: Just a moment.
Natsuki used her ability to look into Kaneki's soul.
Natsuki: Kaneki seems to be looking desperate again, he must be worried about us again so he's trying to gain control.
Natsuki saw the colors of desperation and worry from Kaneki's soul and thought it was because he was worried about them.
Natsuki: It's alright Kaneki, no one will be harming us we're completely safe.
Chikao: Yeah! I don't know if you heard, but Kotori-san had called in for many Council agents to monitor Shimotsuki.
Yuuka: That's right, so even if someone were to attack us the agents will stop them.
Miku: You can relax Onii-chan, you'll need more energy to recover than to worry.
The Higanbana girls were giving him reassurance so Kaneki wouldn't worry.
And to Natsuki it seemed like it had worked.
Natsuki: Looks like he has calmed down, way to go everyone!
Sachi: Hehe~ We're so good at this!
Shino: Yeah. Hey Natsuki can I push the wheelchair now?
Natsuki: Sure go ahead.
Grip!
Shino: Thanks! Alright let's continue on!
All 5: Let's go!
And so the Higanbana girls continued on their trip to the park with Kaneki, looking forward to spend more time with him.
Inside Kaneki's mind*

But inside, Azuna was very frustrated.
Azuna: Tqcdyj!
He was trying to tell them something, but because he was very weakened due to losing his other half as well after using most of his remaining strength to gain control of his body.
But even though he is now in control, he was too weak to move and all he can do now is watch as his friends were clueless to what he's going through.
Azuna: ...
"I we can help you recover faster Kaneki"
Even so seeing and hearing his friends somewhat happy was enough to calm him down.

A little while later~
All 6: We're hear!
After a little while, the Higanbana girls successfully arrived at Shimotsuki Park.
Natsuki: Wow~ the tree leaves are so orange.
Immediately after arriving Natsuki had noticed the orange leaves of the trees.
Yuuka: Looks like they really are changing huh?
Sachi: The trees really look beautiful, right Kaneki?

Kaneki's eyes twitched and gazed up towards the trees.
Kaneki: ...
Though he stared at them with no expression, he seemed more relaxed.
All 6: Smile~
Shino: Let's go to the pond.
The Higanbana girls and Kaneki slowly went to the pond.
A few minutes later~
Splash!
Chikao: Woah~
Natsuki: There's so many fish, I wonder if can go fishing here.
Miku: Don't be silly Natsuki, of course we're not allowed to fish here.
Duck: Quack!
Natsuki: And the ducks are here too!
The Higanbana girls all sat by the pond with Kaneki nearby, staring at the pond.
Kaneki: ...
Duck: Quack! Quack!
Tilt~
Kaneki: ...
One of the ducks from the pond went ashore and approached Kaneki and it's friends followed, which caught his attention which made him lower his head.
Sachi: Aww~ Look Kaneki is being approached by ducks.
Shino, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Aww~
Most of the Higanbana girls found the sight very adorable.
Flap!
One of the ducks soon flew up and landed on Kaneki's lap and sat there.
Tilt~
Kaneki had looked down at the duck that sat by him.
Miku: Onii-chan is moving a lot more!
Because Kaneki's body had moved more, it filled the Higanbana girls, mostly Miku with hope that he'd be able to move a lot again soon.
Drip~
Shino, Sachi, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Huh?
But to their surprise, little tears began running down Kaneki's eyes.
Natsuki: Of course... Kaneki is sad.
All 5: Wait you noticed but didn't tell us?!
Natsuki: Hehe~ Sorry... But yeah, Kaneki was sad ever since we left the house.
Shino: Eh? W-Why?
Natsuki: Well in truth he had been sad ever since we were still in his room, even though he calmed down earlier he was still sad.
Miku: But... Didn't we reassured him earlier?
Natsuki: Why wouldn't Kaneki be sad?
Miku: ... Yeah that was a dumb question.
Chikao silently got up and approached Kaneki.
Chikao: C'mon guys, let's show Kaneki some affection maybe we can cheer him up.
Following Chikao's lead the Higanbana girls got up and approached Kaneki, once they got close to him the ducks all scattered away.
Chikao: It's alright Kaneki, cheer up.
Miku: Yeah, we aren't going anywhere so please don't be sad.
Sachi: Hey Kaneki let's have a sleepover tonight, you do love them right?
Shino: I know! Let's go to karaoke later, I know you won't be able to sing but we can sing you the songs you love.
The girls looked warmly at Kaneki's eyes, while reassuring and giving fun suggestions so Kaneki would cheer up.
Yuuka: We'll be with you always, so Kaneki don't be sad.
Miku: That's right. You've helped us so much, Onii-chan. So just like when you lost all of your senses it's our turn, we will help you.
Natsuki: Yeah. And you know Kaneki? I think we're all similar. Just like how you want us to be happy, we also want you to he happy. Once we get through all of this let's all be happy together, okay?
Shino, Sachi, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Yeah! That's right!
The Higanbana girls looked at each other before taking a deep breath as they prepared to say something important to Kaneki.
All 6: Haa~
Natsuki: You already know this Kaneki but...
Shino, Sachi, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Nod~
All 6: We love you.
Although it wasn't the perfect time, they a smile they confessed their pure and feelings to Kaneki.

In response Kaneki began shedding tears filled with sadness yet a little joy.
Natsuki: Hehe~
Sachi: L-Let's continue on sight seeing!
Shino: Haha~ Sachi are you flustered?
Sachi: Of course I am! We literally just confessed! You're not to talk you know?! You're very red too Shino!
Miku: Haha! Everyone's face is red!
Chikao & Yuuka: Geez Miku, you don't need to point that out.
Natsuki: Haha~
While the Higanbana girls were enjoying their time with Kaneki and teasing each other.

Azuna felt sad as he felt guilty for being unable to protect them as of now.

He knew it was already too late.

But from his sadness, anger and determination burst within him.

For a split second, Kaneki's eyes glowed blue for a split second but it was enough time for the Higanbana
Yuuka: D-Did you guys see that just now?
Natsuki: Maybe what we did worked!
But Natsuki completely misunderstood what it meant.
