He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he tried to take control of the wave rushing towards them, he felt a lot of resistance, and he even had to exert himself to take control from whoever was bending it. It didn't take him long to understand what was going on though, he hadn't been competing against one person, it was at least half a dozen people working together, and he had won.
His expression turning ugly Levi directed the wave of water towards a large iceberg to their right, there didn't seem to be anything there but with his Ethereal sense, he had detected dozens of northern tribesmen on their boats hiding there.
Seeing the huge wave of water rushing towards them they all scrambled to get out of its way, sadly of them only half of them were lucky to get out of the way of the attack the other half had their boats capsized and fell into the freezing waters of the north pole.
"ATTACK." a command echoed from their left as another group riding their boats appeared from there.
Instantly ice spears and shards launched at Appa from every direction making the sky bison's eyes go wide in fear, water waves also rose from the ocean from all sides and headed towards Appa, the attacks of dozens of water benders came from all around all at once.
His gaze hardening Levi augmented himself with Ethereal force as water flew from the ocean and attached to his limbs turning into dozens of tentacles that carried him in the air and broke the ice weapons heading towards them, the water waves were hit by the water tentacles and broke apart, with the danger dealt with the water tentacles headed towards the boats and people on them, their tips turning into sharp ice blades.
"FRIEND, PLEASE CALM YOURSELF." a loud voice shouted from the front of the group of boats on the left as an old man stepped forward, Levi recognized him as Pakku, in his enhanced state Levi could see the sweat coming out of his pores even in this cold weather, he could hear his heart beating rapidly, his breath unsteady, and his eyes shaking as he looked at Levi, in fact he wasn't alone everyone was like that, except his group.
"I could ask you the same thing, you attacked us first." said Levi in a calm tone as if he wasn't facing dozens of trained water benders in their home ground.
"It was a misunderstanding." replied Pakku his, breath steadying a little, 'That's good, he replied, that means there is still room for negotiating this doesn't have to end with bloodshed.'
"Would it have been a misunderstanding if you didn't have your asses handed back to you?" asked Levi in a sarcastic tone.
Pakku was stumped for words, he knew the answer to that, they would have just beat them up, apprehended them, and dealt with them later, sadly for them they didn't count on the existence of someone like Levi, 'Could I do that with the aid of the full moon?' Pakku couldn't help but ask himself as he watched Levi shrouded in dozens of tentacles with sharp ice blades for tips aiming at them, but he already knew the answer, he couldn't, not now and not anytime in the future and even if he had a dozen moons.
"Woah, why don't we all relax alright." said Aang as he stood on top of Appa, his eyes looking at Levi pleadingly.
"And who might you be my young friend" asked Pakku in a polite tone, he already had a guess seeing the air nomad clothes and tattoos on Aang but he wanted to make sure.
"I am the avatar." said Aang drawing murmurs from all the ones gathered around them, "I came here to pay a visit to the northern water tribe and to find a water-bending teacher." he finished making everyone look between him and Levi with strange looks.
"Of course, you're welcome to our home, Avatar." Being the most experienced one around Pakku was the first to recover his composer as he said in the same polite tone, he also had questions like everybody else as to why would Aang seek a water-bending teacher in the northern water tribe with someone like that monster by his side but he knew better than to ask them now.
Levi knew when to back down, he wasn't going to start a killing spree here, he only wanted to…make sure they behaved… and so there was no longer any need to push them further, he was just annoyed and a little angry at being attacked out of nowhere, an attack that would have landed the group in the cold freezing waters of the north pole if he wasn't here.
Disabling Limit breaker he just laid with his hands behind his back on Appa as he looked at the sky, he felt perfectly normal, unlike his usual tired or uncomfortable state when he used Limit breaker this time he didn't even feel the slightest discomfort, 'It seems I can use Limit breaker for longer periods after the Level ups, good I can last longer in battle like this, I can make sure what happened before in the spirit realm does not happen again.' thought Levi clenching his fists as they were led to the northern water tribe.

High ice walls stretched in every direction lined with the sigil of the northern water tribe, a crescent moon with waves on its right side, guards lined the walls every few steps observing the approaching boats and Appa swimming behind them, a big ice wall stood before them making Aang and the two siblings wonder how they will pass through, it wasn't long though before their question was answered.
With a signal from Pakku, the guards at the top of the walls moved and lowered the wall, water rushed in from the sides filling in the small opening they were in and lifting Appa higher as he swam through the open wall in front, Aang and Katara were amazed at how many water benders there were here.
Although the southern water tribe wasn't reduced to the state it was in the TV show and was still a force in its own right, it was nothing compared to this, just the number of water benders around was staggering, benders that would be highly valued in the southern water tribe were a common sight in here, it almost seemed as if every citizen was a bender.
"With this many water benders around we'll find a master in no time." said Aang excitedly as he looked around from the front of the saddle.
"Speak for yourself Levi had already started teaching me." said Katara proudly.
"What? When? Why?" asked Aang in shock and reluctance as he turned around.
"A while ago, I guess I impressed him with my new bending moves."
"Is that so." said Aang with a complicated expression as he stole a glance at Levi, he had always asked Levi to teach him, to be his water-bending teacher, but he had always been refused or ignored entirely.
While Aang and Katara were busy observing the surroundings and talking, Levi and Sokka's attention was captured by something else. A white-haired girl with stunning features and ocean-blue eyes was sailing on a boat opposite them, coming towards them.
Sokka's eyes were literally glued to her following her every move she made and her boat as it passed by them
Levi on the other hand was observing her for another reason entirely, he could feel something about her, something more to her than met the eye, if he hadn't watched the show he would have been confused but he knew it had something with her being infused with a part of the moon spirit's power.
'I thought I had no connection to the moon. How could I feel something wrong with her then?' Levi couldn't help but contemplate, 'Does it have something to do with my spirit body Leveling up?' ever since he left the spirit world his spirit body had already Leveled up by one, Levi guessed it's because he was using its sub-abilities all the time, and maybe that was the reason he could feel something wrong with Yue.
Soon enough Princess Yue passed them and Sokka jumped right off Appa to follow after her, or at least he tried to before he was caught by Levi with one arm dragging him back.
"Hey, what are you doing?" exclaimed Sokka in shock, making the other two look back.
"No." was all that Levi said, one simple word, making Aang and Katara look at each other in confusion but Sokka understood perfectly.
"But…" he started before he was interrupted by Levi, "No buts." he said in a firm tone leaving no room for negotiation.
Sokka could only hang his shoulders low and mutter under his breath as he watched Princess Yue sailing away. Levi even saw a hint of a tear coming into his eyes, but he didn't care.
He knew her fate and he didn't want his brother to get attached to her, he didn't want him to go through all the pain and suffering that would come with her death, plus, he had Suki waiting for him back at Kyoshi island.
He could of course try and save the moon spirit thus preventing Yue's death but he had already tried that before and saw how it ended, he couldn't help but close his eyes to hide his pain as he remembered the cold body of his mother lying motionless before him.

*Knock* *Knock*
"Come in." said Arnok, the chief of the northern water tribe as he heard a knock on his door. Pakku came in and sat on the ground facing Arnook who was sipping on some tea making Pakku frown, "Is that my tea?"
"Yes, I couldn't help but help myself to some of it." said Arnook as he took another sip.
"Ha-ah, try not to…help yourself from now on, it's a rare gift from a friend of mine, I doubt we will find more like it again." said Pakku sighing as he picked up a cup of tea himself and filled it to the brim, a hint of annoyance in his tone making Arnook node awkwardly, he was the tribe's chief but Pakku was still his elder he couldn't say much against him.
"Is that why you're here?" asked Arnook, trying to change the subject, hoping that Pakku was here for another reason.
"We have a problem." said Pakku, making Arnook sigh in relief as Pakku raised an eyebrow at him, "Ahem…sorry about that, I was thinking about something else, what's the problem?" asked Arnook.
"The avatar is here."
"That's great." replied Arnook, his face lightening up, "You don't have to worry about the fire nation, we can take care of them, with the Avatar here he can boost our soldiers' morale like we never could, there is nothing to worry about."
"It's not the avatar I am worried about, it's the person with him." said Pakku as his brows frowned without his control, taking another sip of tea to calm his nerves.
"The person with him?"
"Yes, a young water bender from the south pole, he…." Pakku stated as he recounted the events that happened, with each word Pakku spoke Arnook's eyes went wide with surprise then amazement and finally horror.
"If the need arises, Can you take him out?" asked Arnook, considering the worst-case scenario.
"No." said Pakku, it was one simple word but it sent a chill up Arnook's spine.
"That is...troubling indeed." said Arnook in a grave tone making Pakku node.
"Hold a feast for them and make sure they are comfortable, I'll find a way to handle this." said Arnook, making Pakku nod and get out.
Taking a sip of the tea in front as the door closed Arnook felt his nerves calm down a little, "Truly amazing tea."

Levi and the others were given rooms to stay in until it was night when they were invited to join the feast, Levi, his siblings and Aang sat on the main seats beside Chief Arnook, Levi on his right and the other three on his left, they were on an elevated platform with a square in front.
Three other platforms were raised to their right and left and in front of them, lined up with northern tribesmen, mostly benders and people in positions of power, a lot of them were stealing glances at Levi.
"Tonight we celebrate the arrival of our brothers and sister from the southern water tribe, and they've brought with them someone very special…" said Arnook, pausing, giving them a moment of suspense before continuing, "...The avatar." he said finally followed by cheers from the people gathered around.
"We're also here to celebrate the 16th birthday of my daughter, Princess Yue is now of marrying age." he said, receiving another round of cheers as Yue came up to their platform and sat at Levi's right beside some other northern tribesmen. Sokka's neck almost snapped as he looked at her before he looked away and started whistling when he saw Levi's glare.
"Now master Pakku and his students will perform." said Arnook as he pointed to the front where Pakku and two other men started water bending and performing all kinds of moves, but after Levi's earlier display in the day this had way less effect than intended.
"So How is Chief Hakoda? It has been a while since I last saw him." Asked Chief Arnook as he watched the display.
"You know Dad?" replied Katara in amazement
"He's your dad?" That caught the attention of Arnook and the other water tribesmen close enough to hear as they turned towards Katara.
"Yes." nodded Katara as she pointed at Levi and Sokka, "Our dad actually, that's Levi he's the oldest followed by Sokka and me." she said pointing at them one by one.
Arnook took a closer look at Levi, 'So he's the future chief of the southern water tribe.' thought Arnook, 'With him around the south pole is bound to thrive.'
He felt complicated emotions at that, he was both worried and relieved, worried about such a powerhouse appearing in the South Pole and afraid he'd disturb the balance but also relieved that such a powerhouse was at their side and was a water bender from the south pole no less, one of their closest allies.

An: I really hated how the northern water tribe just attacked them on sight in the show, and it wasn't a warning attack either, it was straight-up going for the kill so I think it was appropriate for Levi to retaliate.
