On top of an abandoned island somewhere in the middle of the ocean, a huge Sky bison lay on the ground eating the lush green grass scattered all around the island, a satisfied expression on its face.
A fire was lit somewhere beside the beach as about a dozen fish were skewered on wooden sticks and planted into the ground, cooking on the fire. Sitting around the fire were Levi, Katara, Aang, and finally Sokka who was drooling at the fish.
They had landed here a couple of hours ago and were busy fishing and setting up the fire to cook. Levi could have done it in minutes but he didn't see the point in that, they were not in a hurry and a little bit of daily chores could clear his mind.
"So how did the trip to the spirit realm go?" asked Aang, making all the others look up and pay attention.
Hearing him Levi contemplated what to say, "Levi?" and it seemed he had spent too much time thinking as he heard Katara call out to him.
"Sorry I was lost in thought, the trip was…productive for lack of better words" he forced out the only words that came to him.
"Why do you sound as if you just ate a sour lemon then?" asked Sokka directly making Levi scowl, he hoped no one would push it further but it seemed he was all out of luck, not that he had much of it in the first place considering it was one of his lowest stats, 'Should I add some points to it?.... Naah, it's fine.' he thought before dismissing the idea.
"I encountered some very troublesome opponents in there." said Levi with a serious look, he paused before he added, "It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I barely escaped with my life."
Hearing him all of their expressions paled in horror, even Appa stopped chewing and Momo stopped running around, they knew Levi, they knew how strong and dangerous he could be, and all that was when he was still holding back and playing around, if he was forced to fight for his life they could only imagine how frightening that can be, and a person like that barely escaped with his life? Who did he fight against? That was the question running through all their minds.
"Levi, I am sorry you had to go through that." said Katara as she moved and sat beside him holding his right hand with both of her hands, "How are you doing now?"
"I am fine sister, I had time to recover." said Levi with a smile, mostly to pressure them seeing their worried faces, "Plus I took one of them down, that's something" he finished in a confident tone which seemed to calm Katara and the others down, more than his smile did, his confidence seemed to reassure them. That's right this was the invincible Levi they knew, even with his life on the line he had managed to cut one of the enemies down, they had nothing to worry about.
"Well look at the bright side, you're alive and well." said Aang but he seemed to be a little unsure of it himself, "…right?"
"Hahaha, I am Aang, better than ever actually." replied Levi with the same confident tone as before at the young Air bender's antics.
Taking a quick bite he couldn't help but savor the delicious fish, he was glad he had bought salt from the shop earlier or he wouldn't have been able to eat it, "They were after me specifically." He said all of a sudden, shocking all three of them, they thought that it was just some random encounter in the dangerous spirit realm, but this changed this entirely.
"I took one out, but I couldn't find the other after I recovered, my best guess is that he was forced to go back to wherever he had come from."
There was a long moment of silence before Katara finally broke it, asking the question on everyone's minds, "And why would they be after you? You haven't done anything to warrant their ire."
Hearing her Levi was lost for words, he could only take another bite from his fish to give himself time and think of what to tell her, no matter what he couldn't tell her that he suspected they were from the future.
"I don't know, but whatever may be the case. I will be ready for them next time."
"That's good, remind me to never take a trip to the spirit realm." said Sokka in a light-hearted tone which seemed to lighten the mood.
"Oh shut up, you wouldn't be able to go there even if you wanted to." said Katara.
"That doesn't mean I am afraid, if I had the chance I would definitely go there." said Sokka, crossing his hands in front of his chest and making Levi wonder where he had gotten that assumption from, Katara hadn't said anything about him being afraid.
"Well, I can take you there if you're interested." said Levi with a mischievous smile as he picked up another fish that had finished cooking and bit on it, of course he was just kidding, even without people like Orionis and Elysia the spirit realm was way too dangerous for a normal human to wander in, if they can survive there that is, but Sokka didn't know that.
"I…. ahem, I'll think about it." said Sokka coughing as he also picked up one of the fish and started chewing.
"I missed this." said Aang as he ate his fish, making all of them node even Levi.
"I went back home on the way here."
"Really? How is dad, and grandma, and everyone else." asked Katara excitedly as she sat up.
"Sadly I didn't meet Dad, or any of them for that matter, dad would have killed me if he knew that I left the both of you alone." said Levi with a chuckle.
Hearing him Katara seemed to finally realize it before noticing that she had set up without knowing it sitting back down, Sokka who was a bit excited himself also calmed down.
It wasn't until a long while later that Levi broke the silence, "I only visited master Tenzin, I got to see him one last time before he took his final breath." he said, he didn't even know why he had said it, no one here was that close to Tenzin like him, but he felt they had to know, they had to know that a great man had left this world.
They listened casually in the first half before their expressions changed in the latter, It was only a simple sentence but it struck the three of them like lightning, even Aang who hadn't met Tenzin before and only heard of him, but he had heard how Levi talks of him and knew how much he had meant to him.
"Levi…I don't know what to say..I am sorry." said Katara her voice cracking as tears started to fall, she wasn't that close to Tenzin but she knew her brother was and knew it must have hit him the hardest, she moved to sit next to him for the second time today and gave him a long deep hug.
"It's fine sister, really, thanks anyhow." he said as he returned her hug, Sokka and Aang only sat at the side not daring to say anything.
Again they sat in silence before it was broken by Aang, "You know what, When I have a kid I'll name him Tenzin just for you Levi ." he said standing with a wide innocent smile on his face.
"Yes, me too, it's a promise." added Katara seriously after Aang, unaware of the airbender's face turning red at the implications.
"Haha, alright I'll hold you to that, both of you." said Levi laughing and giving the both of them a deep look, as if he knew something they didn't.
"Hey, me too I'll name my…" started Sokka before he was interrupted by Levi, "No thank you very much brother but those two will be enough. I don't want all my nephews named after my master, that would scare me for life."
Sokka was stumped for words as Aang and Katara started laughing at him, Aang even holding his stomach as he rolled on the ground.
"By the way I was meaning to ask you, how did you appear on top of Appa?" asked Aang as he finally stopped laughing and sat back down, his clothes all dirty from rolling on the ground.
"Yeah, that was the scariest thing I've experienced this month." said Sokka, making Levi wonder what could have been more scary than a person appearing by your side all of a sudden, thousands of feet in the air no less, but he didn't ask.
"Well, I am a man of many talents you see." said Levi with a cocky smile, "And appearing on the back of random sky bison is one of them." said Levi, making them roll their eyes and resume their eating. Of course that wasn't the truth.
He had traced their location using his Blood-bending tracking his blood imbued in them before teleporting directly on top of Appa, of course he couldn't say that due to how outrageous it sounded.
One good surprise he had received recently after Void Monarch reached Level 2 was that he could now use it to fly. To be more accurate he was moving his body throughout space which simulated flight, but it was much faster and more convenient.
After that the group talked about their adventures when Levi was away, how they met Jet and his freedom fighters and how they stopped his crazy plan to flood an entire town, about the Gan Jin and Zhang tribes and how Aang lied to stop their silly feud, how the fire nation captured Aang and how Zuko of all people tried to save him and finally how they saved a village from an erupting volcano.
After the lengthy and detailed recap by Aang and his siblings Levi Knew where he was in the timeline, and he was glad that most things had remained the same so far, his future knowledge was still useful.

The next morning on the same remote island.
"So what do you want to show me?" Asked Levi as he followed Katara to the other side of the island.
"Patience you'll see soon enough." said Katara with a smile as she walked up front.
Levi only shrugged his shoulders at that as he followed her further away from the group.
It wasn't long before they were standing by the beach, the ocean mere feet away, walking towards the ocean Katara took deep breaths in before letting them out, before repeating, she kept going that way for a while and Levi didn't stop her
Soon water rose from the ocean and moved towards her arms sticking there and splitting into three water tentacles on each arm, all moving in different directions at the same time as she turned towards Levi with a proud smile on her face and he didn't disappoint her as she saw the amazed expression on his face.
"Katara, that's amazing." he said in genuine surprise, it was nothing for a master water bender, but it took dozens of years for normal water benders to control this much water with accuracy like that.
"I still need to concentrate at first before I can form them but it is something." she said.
"It's more than something Katara, it's amazing, I know people who spent decades and can't do that." said Levi and it was the truth, back in the South Pole there were a lot of water benders three times her age that couldn't do that, "I am proud of you sister."
"Well I learned from the best." she said with a smile letting the water return to the ocean.
"Come here let me show you some techniques that will come in handy, you're ready for them now." said Levi as he started going through water-bending motions with Katara following him.

The North Pole.
Frozen icebergs floated all around the ocean with tropical animals like penguins and polar bears lining some of them up.
A sky bison flew close to the ocean, clearly tired and barely able to keep up his flight, four people lay on his back.
"There is nothing out here, we are lost I tell you." Said Sokka in a tone that seemed to scream "I told you so", even if he didn't say it.
"There must be something here, I know this is the right way." Replied Aang trying to sound confident but it was obvious that he wasn't so sure himself.
"It's ok we just keep on looking, they got to be somewhere around here." Said Katara as she stood on top of Appa and looked in all directions but she couldn't see anything.
"It's alright buddy, just a little bit longer." Said Aang in a worried tone reassuring Appa and petting him.
'I can fly you if you want. They will be lucky to ride on my glorious back, they're not worthy but I can make an exception this time.' Acnologia's telepathic message reached Levi making him smile, he wondered what their reaction would be if an enormous black dragon suddenly came out of his body.
'Not yet buddy, we shall let the sky bison lead us for now.' Sent Levi, he knew how to handle Acnologia better than anyone, not that Acnologia knows anybody else besides Tobirama and Sage and it seemed his scally friend wanted to help but didn't want to say it outright.
"Maybe we should try another route, we can't keep going in a dead end, and why can't Appa fly a little bit faster." Said Sokka complaining.
The last bit seemed to get on Aang's nerves as he turned around and looked at Sokka, eyes wide, "Why don't you come over here and let us ride on your back instead huh?"
"You think you will scare me with that? Come I am all open." Said Sokka turning his back towards them making Katara facepalm as Momo jumped on his back making him speechless.
Levi, who was lying on the side suddenly jumped up and looked around narrowing his eyes, seeing him like this all their expressions turned serious, "What's wrong?" asked Sokka seriously, his playful demeanor completely gone as he grabbed his boomerang.
"We have company." Said Levi, giving them no time to react he activated Limit breaker and jumped off Appa confronting the huge wave of water heading towards them.
