A nurse came out from the delivery room with a newborn baby in her arms. "Lily Williams' family?"
"Yes, we're her parents!" Reuben and Matilda could not contain their excitement and ran to the nurse to receive the baby.
"Don't worry, both mother and son are healthy. Please wait here for a moment," the nurse stated before she headed back into the delivery room.
Matilda gestured for her husband to sit with her on a nearby bench, as she knew that it would be a while before Lily would come out from the operation room.
"Hello, my dear boy. We're your grandparents." both Reuben and Matilda looked at their grandson in adoration.
Reuben could not believe that he was now a grandfather.
Uilliam was sleeping peacefully in Matilda's arms, looking so delicate that the new grandparents could not take their eyes off of him.
Dylan arrived just in time to see the newborn baby in Matilda's arms. He wanted to join them but was conflicted on how he should address himself.
