Flos wright was traveling beside Steve origins the day after lily left on their own mission.
And after days of travel, they only ran into a few problems here and there besides Steve holding Brian back from killing the constantly complaining Flos.
Hugo popped in every now and then to report everything back at the main manor while aiding their quest by finding info with his mists.
''Can you believe it Hugo she has been gone for days. Days I say! and she promised to contact me every day but the most she sends me is a goodnight before passing out if that. where did I go wrong?''
Flos was weeping into an exhausted Hugo's chest complaining about his daughter's negligence as a visibly pissed Steve held his anger at bay at the utter ridiculous behavior in front of him.
Hugo just patted the crying man's head as he looked at the questioning his life choices.
Steves eyes burst into a bright white light as Brian came out "For the love of the almighty you've been complaining about your daughters lack of contacting you days now get over you had her locked up in that mansion for all her life and she's finally escaped into the real world. Just be patient and wait till she adjusts to her new freedom and miss home.''
Hugo and Flos both knew although harsh Brian was right it was her first time out and about exploring the world with people around her age.
Brian turned to Hugo ''with the information we gathered from the last four towns do you have a general idea where the two True Demi gods are?''
Hugo nodded as he left his masters side to explain the situation. ''according to most testimonies the two will fight in the relentless plains as their fights turned all mountains in the area into flat lands. after about nine months of nonstop fighting, they rest for three to four to compete in eating and drinking competitions.''
Steve took over his body with a confused face ''I know these two are impossibly powerful, but don't they need to sleep?''
Hugo just shook his head ''No they dint need to sleep or eat they only do so to relax and let their energy heal the land where the compete as just the remnant energy from them can turn dunes into jungles but as they are the only equal the other has met, they love competing to pass the time which made a few gods interfere personally only give up as they teamed up against any god that appeared.''
the new was a shock as even Steve origins who had two incredible powerful souls in one body had to sleep and eat to function.
"Is there any information on their runes?'' Brian asked trying to find some sort of light
Hugo shock his head ''only that both seem to break what seems to logically be possible on a daily basis with no regard for laws.''
''Tch, what about their personalities?'' brain was literally grasping at straws, but anything would be helpful at this point.
Hugo seemed to brighten up at that ''It seems as unstoppable forces of nature the see no reason to hide their true selves so that is common among the villagers around the relentless plains.''
''John acorns a sprit squirrel that is really greedy but can be bargained with to an extent. although he isn't evil, he won't go out of his way to help anyone for free.''
Brian and Flos nodded as they let him continue.
''While Chad Norris is the opposite a social butterfly that like helping others and just plain chatting, but he isn't above using force on someone acting up or doing something wrong in front of him.''
''hmm sound like their clashing personalities is the reason they are always fighting.'' flos muttered aloud as Hugo just shook his head.
''You would think so, but they are actually great friends who both love a good challenge.''
both Steve and Brian were rapidly switching between each other abruptly as they turned in a seemingly Random direction and stared intensely.
before either Hugo or Flos could ask what was wrong Brian answered after taking full control ''I sense myself in three different areas in that direction but... different.''
Brian continued staring intensely in that direction when his eyes widened in shock and his hands trembled in pure anger.
Hugo was about to ask what happened when Flos gabbed his shoulder and shook his letting Brian work through whatever this was.
after a few moments of silent rage Brian seemed to calm down and turned to the other two staring at him awkwardly.
Brain took a few moments to calm down before speaking ''It seems my attackers from a while ago have cloned us and they seem to share Steves strange physique and are connected to us in a strange way.''
Flos thought about for a moment when an idea popped in his head "Your attacker was the abyssal claw who tried to recruited you only to fail so instead they cloned you still getting you on their side in a way? Oh, that's bad even if everyone rejects them, they can just clone them amassing an army of powerful creature not including the abyssal claw itself.''
it just dawned on everyone how dire the situation was truly.
Flos pulled out a few silver soul beans and passed them to Brian and Hugo ''eat these to recharge your energy we are going to sprint to the relentless plains.''
everyone nodded in understanding as Hugo disappeared into mists while the ground beneath Flos and Steves feet caved in and they started running at near supersonic speeds to arrive even a second faster.
after a few days of non stop travel they reached the relentless plains but it was nothing like they expected.
surrounding the area were damaged mountains missing entire chunks and large trees at their base as if the biomes just shifted abruptly.
The deeper they went the less plant life their seemed to be as the ground itself was unnaturally flat aside from a few craters here and there but the strangest thing was the closer to the center, they went the more tremors they felt until eventually the tremors turned into shockwaves that kept knocking them back when they finally made it to the center they froze in shock and awe.
in the distance patches of tundra and dessert were laid out randomly as if the world itself was glitching and high above the sky was two fighters that seemed to cause reality itself to shake with their every clash.
john acorn was a wolf sized white and grey squirrel that seemed to fly around the air like a phantom when he wasn't sent hurdling into the ground. every time he crashed into the ground the area around him seemed to freeze over before he launched back in the air.
while Chad Norris was an light elf like Steve but different in a way he had a light brown beard which was unusual for elves while he wore deep black jeans and a button up shirt that seemed unaffected by the battle.
the strangest thing about this elf was that he was seemingly kicking the air so hard it looked like he was walking on pure air with gusto but every time he was sent crashing into the ground his launch into the air caused his surrounding to turn to dust from the pressure he created.
Flos watched in pure amazement unable to fully keep track of their movements.
Steve was barely able to keep up himself and was just exasperated at the sheer power these two had.

Brian took a few deep breathes as he studied the two impossible figures fighting above him.
'Hmm it seems they have the same rune but are enhancing different thing and I can't seem to copy this mysterious power they have.'
he thought as he started flying towards them while creating a special barrier around himself to protect from the insane shockwaves they caused.
the two halted as if planned beforehand and stared at the intruder approaching them.
john attacked first Brian remained calm until the squirrel phased through his special barrier and launching him into the ground.
Brian groggily pulled himself out of the crater when he saw the two of them dash towards his and out of pure instinct, he summoned an holy amount of lightning around himself as he entered the shadows below him to escape.
unfortunately, the lightning avoided Chad as if out of fear as he just casually walked through it and john just phased through it.
Brian tried to escape even faster after seeing this, but john reached his paw into the shadows and yanked Brian out launching him into Chad who just stared at him curiously with a welcome smile before trying to stomp his head.
Brian immediately launched himself out the way using compressed air before launching a lava tsunami at the and then four elemental tornados.
Chad Norris somehow slapped the tsunami made of lava into space casually while john grew to the size of a giant and ate the elemental tornados as if they were snack.
brain and Steve had always been hunted and persecuted for being irregulars but never before in his life did, he feel so hopelessly outmatch as if nothing he did mattered.
Brian tried rewinding time to avoid this confrontation altogether. unfortunately Chad casually reached out his hand and gripped the air so hard time around the three froze.
