In the infinite darkness of the deep sea, a glowing blue sphere slowly floated out from within, a decayed, dim rainbow trailing behind it like exhaust.
Lily had seen this thing before. Just as she was about to be attacked by an iceberg, it had collided with it from underwater, diverting its attention. She cautiously drifted to the left, only to be surprised when it followed her.
Why is it following me? Since it just saved me, this thing shouldn't be an enemy, right? Lily's heart pounded with unease.
Calling it a sphere wasn't quite accurate. It was more like several interlocking rings that only looked like a sphere. The ghost-blue sphere was enormous, almost the size of an island. As it approached, the oppressive feeling it gave off was almost palpable, like being crushed under a mountain. Yet, when the giant glowing sphere drew near, it stopped at a certain distance. A bizarre scene unfolded as it began to orbit Lily.
