The moment Shanshan finished, the bike-riding teenagers were about to laugh, but their expressions suddenly froze as if they had seen something absolutely terrifying. They furiously pedaled, racing back toward the factory for dear life.
"As I grow, I'm gradually inheriting some of Mom's powers. Although I'm still not very skilled, I can use them now," Shanshan explained to Nini.
"Shanshan's gotten stronger again!" Nini clapped her hands as if celebrating.
Shanshan smiled, about to say something, but just then, the sunlight in the sky instantly went out. Three seconds later, it returned to normal.
When the sunlight returned, Shanshan and Nini, who should have been standing on the street, had both vanished.
