"Shanshan, don't you like watching this puppet show?" Nini noticed the very different look on Shanshan's face.
Shanshan blinked her big eyes with their long lashes. "It's not that I don't like it. It just feels like puppet shows aren't as fun as they used to be."
"How about we play house instead? I'll be the mom, you be the dad, and my doll can be our child." As Nini spoke, she was about to dash off to her bedroom, but Shanshan grabbed her.
"Let's go for a walk." As soon as Shanshan finished speaking, the environment around them suddenly changed. When Nini came to her senses, she found they were already on Second Street.
Looking at the adults hurrying along the street, Nini smiled and nodded. "Sure, going out for a stroll is nice too. It's just that there aren't as many people as there used to be."
The two girls, one older and one younger, walked hand in hand down the street, chatting eagerly. Most of the time, it was Nini asking and Shanshan answering.
