All is quiet on the Gobi Beach; there's still no sign of danger. The route is a bit too long. To shorten the distance, we should consider building a forward supply station in the middle."

We encountered another Exploration Ship today. After a brief conversation, I learned that their captain and first mate died during their expedition. The second officer is now in command. With the captain dead, their team will probably disband upon their return. Then again, the *Narwhal* could really use a new second officer."
