Inster led Norden and Linda, rushing blindly through the World Crown's dock, their heads down and glancing anxiously over their shoulders as they ran.
By letting those lunatics run everywhere, he had completely shaken off his pursuers. He had truly escaped their grip. He was finally free.
They had swapped their blue-and-white-striped hospital gowns for huge, black-cloth-draped sun hats—all stolen goods. This disguise greatly increased their chances of a successful escape.
"First mate, where do we find the Captain now?" a nervous and twitchy Linda asked, darting glances at the islanders around them.
"Shhh, don't talk. Just follow me. We'll hide first," Inster said, leading them into a secluded alley.
