Seeing that Norden wasn't some kind of Monster, the crew forgot about their meals. They quickly surrounded him, pinning him to the bench so the Doctor could perform a thorough examination.
A minute later, Linda looked up. Her face, usually cold and indifferent, now showed genuine surprise. "Captain, Norden's brain is active and his bodily functions have returned. He's really alive."
"How is that possible…?" Charles frowned deeply, thought for a moment, and then lifted Norden's shirt.
On his pale, well-defined chest, the bloody hole made by the Bone Spur was still there, constantly seeping blood.
No matter how one looked at it, this was a fatal wound, yet Norden acted as if nothing had happened.
Charles raised his index finger and plunged it straight into the bloody hole. The action made Norden gasp sharply.
