Glancing at the unresponsive building complex, Charles reluctantly agreed to Richard's request.
He really didn't want to argue endlessly with Richard over such a trivial matter.
The rats were quickly selected to head toward the ring-shaped structure. Richard, controlling their shared body, grinned as he patted their heads.
"My little comrades, I'm entrusting you with a difficult mission. Remember, anything with writing or anything that looks valuable—drag it out if you can. If you can't, just come back out and tell me, and we'll go in ourselves. Come on, Lily, translate that for them."
Watching the two rats scurry toward the round facility, a satisfied expression appeared on Richard's face.
"People always love to compromise, don't they? For instance, if you say this room is too dark and insist on opening a window, everyone will refuse. But if you propose tearing off the roof, they'll come to a compromise and agree to open a window. Am I right?"
