Watching the teal monster depart, a faint smile touched Charles's lips. It seemed the Mih hated these living relics far more than they hated him.
"Keep going, hurry up!" Following Charles's command, his men placed explosives on one doorframe after another.
All kinds of monsters were released. Their appearances were so ugly and deformed that Charles didn't even know how to describe some of them.
But he didn't want to know what these things were, nor did he care about their special properties. As long as they could cause trouble for the Mih, they were temporary allies.
Of course, not every living relic was as cooperative as the teal monster; many attacked Charles and his men the moment they were freed.
Fortunately, Charles and his men weren't pushovers. Upon seeing nearly two hundred fully armed humans, any monster with even a sliver of intelligence chose to steer clear for the time being.
