Although the atmosphere was somewhat oppressive, the crew's morale remained stable. The environment was spooky at best, but certainly not the worst they had encountered compared to previous islands.
Charles, sitting on a rock, was conversing with Richard in his mind.
"This island probably isn't very promising. It doesn't look like it gets any sunlight."
"That's for sure. This place stinks. If I were the one building an exit, I wouldn't put it here."
"Let's finish exploring first. Maybe the 'King' intentionally hid Supply Island to look like this."
"Oh? If they've really been to this island, does that mean there are relics here too?"
"Stop fooling around. Wasn't last time's lesson enough?"
"What do you mean, fooling around? Isn't this to increase our strength? Haven't we survived this long by relying on the power of the relics?"
"The side effects of every relic are severe. Simply possessing more of them won't make us stronger."
