As Rex went to go get dressed for the Marriage Ceremony with Tiamat. Lilith on a whim decided to see what kind of clothes he would wear for the ceremony.
When she saw Rex being dressed by Mira and Mera she thought this was a hallucination. Indeed they were dressing him because he had to show off a symbol of Godly Qi cultivation.
The duo had long been waiting for a man to enter and become a husband up here. Due to the other Soul inside of Rex since no one could advance all they could do was prepare.
Even though the Demon God ascended into the Godly Realm. He kept his Godly Realm in the Demon Realm just to be safe from being banished into nothing.
Although he did not want to admit it. He knew that would happen if he tried to make his Godly Realm alongside the two goddesses. As for how he knew he would get banished, that is still a mystery that even the Stairway Conscious does not know.
When the time came for someone to actually be the goddesses. They were more than happy to ensure that everyone knew they were on that person's side. That person just happened to be Rex.
Even now, his body is still recovering from the fight against the other Soul holding the cultivation. His Mortal Qi had completely recovered, his Demonic Qi had almost recovered, his Heavenly Qi was still a ways away from being recovered, and his Godly Qi was still there in small amounts as it always had been.
As Rex saw himself completely clothed in completely golden robe with ribbons from each Realm including Earth. He was truly fascinated in this dress.
Yes, it looked more like a dress than a suit. The ribbons gave it a more masculine look because they were more masculine colors and tied at various places to ensure the dress would stay on properly.
Lilith did not want Rex to be in a dress. She had to admit this was one amazing looking dress. Mira wanted Lilith to be able to stand beside of him as a woman who truly fit the First Woman to Rex.
Mera and Mira immediately stripped her down. Rex got to watch as the duo completely redid her dress.
To call what he wore now a dress was simply absurd. For Lilith, it was so long that taking a normal step was hard. So hard in fact that everyone had to help teach her in an hour how to properly walk with that dress.
It took all of fifty minutes to barely be able to walk. Even now, Lilith was afraid of messing up. The others all went and set down.
Mera and Mira welcomed Rex and Lilith as the bride and groom who first got the Soul Marriage into the church.
The audience stood up. They watched as Rex who looked more like an ancient Roman walk with a Demon Goddess into the church. No clapping was heard but breathing being held was seen. Once everyone breathed, it echoed as they were stunned at Lilith's dress.
Then Tiamat entered the church with the Demon God. She walked nervously as the Demon God was sure to help hold her back.
She was nervous because Aina would be entering the special night with her. No one knew how nervous she was expect for Aina herself.
When the Demon God walked her up to the podium. Mera and Mira signaled for everyone to sit.
"We the Goddesses of the Realms want to ask why you Tiamat decided to Soul Mate with Rex? Before we start the actually ceremony."
Tiamat was not shocked by this. This was a normal occurrence for what she had seen and heard.
"I wish to Soul Mate with Rex to give him a better ending. Is there anything wrong with giving someone a better ending?"
Mira looked as if she had swallowed a bitter pill. Mera was thinking that there was more to this that the Stairway had shown but not told.
"I cannot say I do not agree with this marriage. I can say that if you truly wish to marry, we shall not stop you. Does any person object to the start of this marriage?"
No one wanted to object. There were people who thought that having a better ending was not enough for a wedding.
"It seems like the people do not want to object but have certain feelings for this marriage. Of course, we too feel this way. Since no one wants to object we will continue with the marriage as stated in the rules of god's and goddesses' who have written the rules beforehand.
Of course, I have to ask if there is anything specific or special either one of you wish to happen now." Mera spoke.
Rex nodded his head no. Tiamat was in thought. She was currently in Rex's Realm and they could instantly go wherever they wanted here. She decided to get married in a traditional dragon marriage.
"I want a traditional dragon marriage instead. Is that allowed?" Tiamat asked.
The two goddesses thought of this already and had prepared for it. Although it was rough at the start it ended really well for what they thought.
"Very well. We shall proceed."
It started off as a normal marriage as anyone would suspect. It changed when it came time for the vows.
For dragons, they do not make simple vows. They make lifetime promises to each other that they remember. A vow at marriage to them can be broken or discarded in any fashion. A promise is something special to the duo.
Rex's promise was to ensure that she could always feel at peace here. She did not want to admit it but that was weak for her. Until, she realized that what Rex meant was that no matter what changes he had to make he would do it instantly for her. It would be hard and strenuous but he would do it.
She promised to ensure his safety over any world that they would visit. This put a lot of pressure on the soldiers. They knew it would mean dying if it came to Rex.
Then at the end of it the duo had to fight to see which dragon would rule over the house. Rex knew that Tiamat was going easy on him due to his recovery going on. That did not mean she was giving it away for free.
Finally, a trip happened to Tiamat who landed safely in Rex's arms to see him smiling as he had claimed his victory. Then the celebration started as food and drinks from the Heavenly Realm was brought in for the people.
Although, they thought it tasted disgusting. Since they had not yet truly tasted good food in the Godly Realm. There was no way for them to actually eat it currently. It became midnight in the Realms. The audience went back to the barracks and to their training spots. While Mira and Mera explained what truly happened to the duo as they were married in the Godly Realm.
