The Spider Queen Death looked at Rex with wide eyes. She could tell that he was serious about stabbing himself with a sword that would only pierce his Soul.
"Why? Have I upset you with something?"
The Spider Queen knew nothing of what Rex had planned.
"There is another Soul within me. Deathholder told me and that caused the Stairway Conscious to take his Soul because I was not supposed to know."
When the Spider Queen Death understood what happened she too became furious. Now, she was going to help Rex with whatever he needed help with.
The sword gleaned with a moonlight glow but it was shaped like a star. Rex tried to focus on stabbing himself. Before he could realize what happened, the Spider Queen Death helped the sword into Rex's torso.
Rex found himself face to face with a giant star shape above him in his Soul. Looking directly across was the other Soul that had his cultivation stats.
However, the Demon King of Annihilation form was behind Rex while the Demon King of Desires was behind the other Soul.
"A weakling should know when to bow." The other Soul spoke.
The star shaped sword shifted towards Rex. The Spider Queen Death yelled at Rex to win the fight. This caused the star shaped sword to shift towards the other Soul.
A tick sounded because the sword had shifted twice. Both Souls looked up at the sword and a laugh was heard from the other Soul.
"Six more moves before one of us dies. Of course a move is forcing the sword either down or across." The other Soul declared before yelling, "Demon King of Desires!"
The sword began to move. Suddenly, Lilith appeared behind Rex and used her Demonic Qi along with the Demon King of Annihilation to hold the star shaped sword.
Both Souls using what was available only then. The women around Rex all began to shout, "Downward!"
Iris appeared first, Liz appeared second, Violet appeared third, Amber appeared fourth, Margaret appeared fifth, Tiamat appeared sixth and with a roar forced the star shaped sword downward forcing a move on its own.
The other Soul was not sure why the other women were truly on Rex's side and not his when his Soul was the one that allowed the multiple Soul Mate to happen.
Natsu and Xue appeared next without doing anything but granting Rex's Soul the use of Heavenly Qi.
The sword went down again with force. The other Soul worried because nothing he could do could stop this madness. That was until he called out, "DEMON KING OF WILL!"
The Demon King of Will appeared beside Rex. The Demon King of Will knew that this fight is how he would either fight with Rex or not. If he won with Rex, he would not. If he lost, he has to fight him.
"Either way, Demon King of Annihilation! We have to win!" The Demon King of Will shouted.
This upset the other Soul because he was not sure why this was happening. He knew that anyone else other than the Stairway Conscious would more than likely help Rex.
"Damn You! You were worthless without my help because I forced the two children to send you back in time! How? Why? What truly happened that I did not know?" The other Soul was upset.
Rex smiled.
"What happened is that I became popular!" Rex yelled.
Everyone person whom Rex had helped appeared beside him. The crowd allowed reached upwards. The other Soul was afraid of the consequences now.
"Be gone!"
The shout was in unison and the sword pierced through the other Soul. The Demon King of Desires was the only part destroyed in that stab.
"I win!"
The other Soul was reaching out towards Rex. His left hand around the throat of Rex's Soul.
"Become me so I can live properly!" The other Soul declared.
"May the Goddesses smite you in declaration of the evil you are doing now!" Mizuki Aina declared as soon as the hand was around Rex's throat.
A white cloud appeared and the thunderbolt sounded up close. The yelling of both Souls has the thunderbolt was supposed to destroy both Souls.
"DO NOT DARE TO KILL HIM!" The Spider Queen Death roared with a massive venom in her voice.
The moment the thunderbolt ended both Souls laid down. Neither one truly moving. The tears from all the women dripped unto Rex. His Soul recovering faster than the other Soul.
Suddenly, the Demon King of Desires reappeared. This time he Desired for Rex to be healed and the other Soul to be shattered.
When that happened, everything suddenly black for the other Soul and white for Rex.
"We truly were meant to shatter that Soul." The Demon King of Will spoke.
The black started to shake uncontrollably. The other Soul tried to find someone else to replace Rex with.
Rex walked into the black and grabbed the other Soul and shoved it towards the end of the star shaped sword.
When the Soul barely touched it, the agony of feeling it in his body was even worst than his Soul.
Rex woke up screaming as his cultivation was suddenly breaking down. He still had some Heavenly Qi from when Natsu and Xue both gave him some but since he still had Mortal Qi it was hurting him badly.
Then his Demonic Qi triggered and that helped protect him some. When the last of the agony ended, the Stairway Conscious felt lonely for the first time in a long time.
She had failed to bring back someone whom she truly cared about and it was all Deathholder's fault.
"I should have never protected them when he told me to." She cursed as she cried in the Stairway.
Suddenly a lot more people felt that they had finally become Godly Cultivators. This was the because of the other Soul forever holding the bindings to keep most people out of there because they could not handle the situation of being a Godly Cultivator.
