People gathered by the tent where the marriages had been going on. It was late morning and close to afternoon now.
This had been called by the female Heavenly Judge and the Shadow Commander. As for why it is important, everyone believed that it was for the marriage of the duo or one of the Demon King's marriage's.
The Demon King entered with his Soul Mate and each of them had a glow of happiness on them. They sat down where they had been sitting. Rex sat in front of the them.
Then the Shadow Commander and the female Heavenly Judge both walked in. They went to the area that was cleared off especially for the marriages.
"Today, we celebrate a peace that was once not even thought of. I have sent words to the Heavenly Realms to ensure that this day is remembered throughout history.
It is not that history needs to remember this lonely day. It is that we need to remember this day. Books on history about the War and how we won are being written. Do not think that this is all.
While we want to enjoy this day as a great peace day. We also have to remember the suffering and the deaths of those who came with this peace.
Myself and my husband have decided to do a week long of remembering. For those who have fought before and lost their lives to this point when peace came through our marriage.
Tonight, all drinks will be brought back out and placed around in a circle. Each drink will be for a different meaning. Suffering, Death, War, Peace, Victory, Lives Crippled, and Family with each of these drinks being for a different day until the Peace drink is offered.
As for the order in which they should be drank. It does not matter nor does matter how you drink them expect for Peace being the last one for the marriage of the Shadow People and Realm People together." The female Heavenly Judge finished for a moment.
"In the near future we will send letters especially for the drinks. This will be a joint effort between the Shadow People, the Heavenly Cultivators, and the Demon King.
We know this sudden but we thought of this last night.
It is fine for those who cannot afford the drinks tonight because we are going to figure out which drinks work for each memory. We just ask that if you can tonight, drink seven different drinks tonight. It will be a burden to drink a lot but a quick shot of each will also do. We thank you all for this generous day." The Shadow Commander spoke.
"Demon King Rex please come forward." The female Heavenly Judge spoke.
Rex was nervous about what he had to talk about but he walked up there anyways.
"The Mortal Realm knows you by Rex. The Heavenly Realm knows you by Saint Rex for saving the faerie race and Deathholder. The Demon Realm knows you by the title of Demon King Rex.
Today however, you will be granted a last name that will keep you forever locked in the Realms as someone important. When you advance into the Heavenly Realm, that is when your last name will become sanctioned." The female Heavenly Judge said happily.
The crowd cheered as Rex could officially get a last name. This was not only granted by the Heavenly Judges but also the Stairway Conscious.
Rex was stunned because he had not thought of a last name. He needed time to think about it.
"Can I have until tonight to think about a last name?" Rex asked.
"Of course. We were not expecting you to immediately think of a last name. We are expecting however by the breakfast of tomorrow for you to let everyone know of the last name." The Shadow Commander spoke.
Rex felt a little relieved but worried because he would not get any sleep during the night.
All of his Soul Mate immediately tried to think of a last name but they were not truly trying hard right now.
Rex had a couple in mind but he decided to wait and see what the Demon King of Will would say that his last name should be.
The day was slow for the people. The marriage ceremonies had only seven different drinks offered. They had to bring them all back out.
The Shadow Commander along with his friends decided to give a quick taste to see what they thought of each drink. They all quickly agreed.
Then the female Heavenly Judge and Rex walked over. Of course, she had gotten his arm because she felt more comfortable in deciding with him close by.
They each went for a round. For the Heavenly Guard and Soldier they felt a little sorrowful because Heavenly Judges always get what they want.
Since she wanted Rex to be comfortable with her as she was with him. This was part of the overall plan she decided to go with. It would take a little longer for the duo to be comfortable with each other.
She was alright with that. Previous elderly Heavenly Judges never cared for some people and only their justice or the money they would get on a verdict.
She took a different approach. She had seen corruption on the Heavenly Judges rather open or in private. She did not like that. A judge should be impartial or at least have some people who like them and can tell them the truth.
Marrying the Shadow Commander was something unexpected but she believed that if it could better the Realms. She would take that by the reins and allow it to flow.
She told the Shadow Commander this last night. He was a little disappointed in her. He also saw it from her position and knew that it was for the wrong reasons but for the betterment of the Realms like any King or Queen might do in their position.
He accepted her for that. This was why she did not want a Soul Mate marriage at first as well. When the duo finished their drinking session and decided which ones would be which. They compared theirs to the Shadow People's to see what they thought.
