Aside from Lewis Holmes, everyone in the Schmidt Family had their favorite food in front of them.
Especially Emma Benson, the kitchen had put in extra effort, focusing mainly on fruits and vegetables. The small amount of meat was wrapped in fruit or sprinkled with fruit sauce. Overall, the food was refreshing and non-greasy, making it quite appetizing.
"Thank you…" Emma turned back, looked at Frederick standing behind her, and knew it must have been his arrangement.
"No need to thank me. The master and the marshal instructed it. I only followed orders," Frederick softly said in her ear, then returned to his place.
Emma reached out under the table to touch the man's waist, he turned his head, saw her smiling, and raised an eyebrow.
She didn't speak, pointed at the food on the table, and mouthed a silent "Thank you."
The man chuckled gently and also reached out to stroke her waist, the gesture was very suggestive, and he even caressed it in the end.
