Year 2026, December 31 - New Year
We can see a 19 year old boy eating dinner and looking at the clock on the wall deep in thought.
''I should call my mom'' he said and took out his phone, when he took it out he dialed a number.
When the call was answered, a voice was heard from the other end of the call.
''Hello Mom'' the boy greeted his mom.
[Hello Alex, how are you doing] his mom greeted back.
''Good, how about you?'' Alex asked his mother.
{Very well, me and your father are celebrating New Year} Alex's mom answered.
{How are you doing in America, are your grades good} his mother asked.
''Yes, I am doing perfectly fine here. The only thing is that I miss you all'' answered Alex.
{We miss you very much, as well} his mom said.
They continued the call for 5 minutes, but his mother had to end the call. After his mother hung up the phone, Alex placed the phone on the table and went to sleep.
My name is Alexander Greyfox, I am 18 years old this year and live in New York. I am originally from Europe, but I wanted to study abroad so here I am. My life is ordinary, going to school, working part-time, studying, eating, and sleeping. I am getting bored of it.
As he was thinking, he just disappeared.
Then he appeared in a familiar but at the same time unfamiliar room. He was laying on a bed but instantly shot up from the bed. He started looking around and was getting even more shocked.
*How did I get into my old room* he thought.
He then saw a phone, this was his old phone. After some time he grabbed the phone and unlocked it. He looked at the date and paled.
It was 2024, the 25th of July.
What the hell was going on? He was getting anxious. Then a bulb lit up above his head.
*Time-Travel. But why, even if I time- travel there is nothing I can change. In 2026 there is nothing new that could benefit me* Alexander thought and sighed.
After he confirmed what had happened he looked at the door and left his room. He walked to the living room and saw his parents. He was excited because he hadn't seen his parents for some time.
*I have to act normally* Alex thought.
The day passed and nothing out of the ordinary happened.
Alex fell onto the bed and recalled his day.
*Ordinary, Time-Travel, Ordinary* he thought with a dumbfounded face.
After a few seconds passed he threw his pillow.
*Why did I have to time-travel to the past* he shouted in his heart.
After the excitement from time-traveling calmed down. He understood what this meant. He had to relive his last two years for no reason. After venting his anger he fell asleep. But something unexpected happened.
Alex woke up in a dark room and it looked like he was floating.
"What the hell, where am I" he asked, but no one answered.
"Helloooo" he yelled.
Just as he was about to yell again a transparent screen appeared in front of him. On it were written some words.
[Origin Path Talent]

There were millions of cards and they were all question marks.
"What?" after Alex looked through the transparent screen, he was confused. He had to choose a talent. What the hell was this bullshit.
*Whatever I will just choose one and get this over with* he thought.
"Let me see" he looked through some of the talents, and as he was looking through the talents he spotted a weird button hidden in the corner.

He thought about it and pressed the button. A big wheel appeared in front of him with a lot of question marks. Above the wheel was an explanation that stated.
[When you spin the wheel you will not be able to choose which talent you want. It will all be randomized, you will get the talent it lands on. Here are the chances.

Below the wheel was a button with the word [SPIN].
When Alexander looked through the chances he laughed.
"What are these chances 6 out of 10 people get D and only 1 in 1000000 get SSS" Alex said as he stopped laughing.
"Let me spin this wheel" Alexander yelled and pressed the [SPIN] button.
The wheel started spinning so fast that the question marks disappeared. It began to slow down and the question marks appeared again. As it was about to stop on one of the question marks, an error suddenly appeared.

Alex looked at the screen in disbelief and countless thoughts were surging in his mind.
*Was all this real, was it. Impossible right, right? What if it was real, am I going to be able to use the talent in the real world? What if someone finds out, what will happen then* his head started to hurt so he stopped and looked at the screen again.
When he calmed down Alex thought about what he should pick. After some thought, he clicked on Yes and the wheel spun again. But as it was spinning it suddenly stopped on one of the question marks.

Alex was shocked again and stared at the transparent screen for a long time, but suddenly thought.

Without any hesitation, he clicked on the Yes button and the words on the transparent screen changed.
[The Origin Path is a special path given to those who are qualified. There are others like you and they have their own unique talents. They are called Originals.]

Enhancing - Able to enhance yourself (For example: Enhancing your physical strength, your speed, or your hearing.) There are a lot of different ways to enhance yourself.
Elemental - Grants you the ability to control and create elements (For example: Pyrokinesis - able to control fire, the stronger you are the better control over fire you can have.| Hellflame - able to create flames, the stronger you are the hotter the flames are.) There are a lot of different elements.
Unique - Gives you the ability to rule over a certain thing (For example: Your Time Authority talent, you can rule over time) This type of talent is rare (Cannot be seen below S-rank talents)..]

When Alexander read all of the text shown in the window. He called out the Path and a different screen appeared.

When he saw all of his information, he could understand almost everything. He had played video games in his previous life.
"Ok let me go back and look at the other four options" said Alexander and thought about The Path.
The five options were brought back.

He clicked on [More Information] this time and a lot of information was presented, as expected. He looked through the information and found the things he needed.
[Orions: The currency used in the shop
Status: Shows your current level, skills, orions, and talent level.
Shop: A place in which you can buy, trade and sell items and skills.
Contacts: You can see your friends or find groups of Originals and hunt Malumori'gins.
Malumori'gins: Evil beings which invade Earth and cause chaos. If you see one as a human you should immediately run if you can, but as an Original you have to fight it and defeat it. You get Orions and Experience by defeating and killing a Malumori'gin.
Experience: You can level up with it.
Origin Dimension: A place every Original can go to and interact with each other. You will have to find out more about the Origin Dimension yourself. (Locked for Originals under level 30)
Bounties: You can see how much the head of a certain Malumori'gin is worth, photos of them, and the place they were seen last.]
Having read all of the information, Alexander's head was hurting. After some time he was able to soak up all the information about the Origin Path and wanted to leave the dark space he was in. At first, he tried on his own but wasn't able to think of anything that would have worked. At last, he called out the Path.

Alex clicked [Yes] and he suddenly opened his eyes to the real world. The lights in the room were still on because he forgot to turn them off. The light blinded him, he had been in a dark space for who knows how much time. After he adjusted to the lights, he called out the Path to see if it is real.
