"Help me!"
The desperate cries echoed across the marble dining hall, bouncing off the high ceiling and polished stone walls. Panic spread instantly, sharp and contagious, like fire racing through dry grass.
Upon noticing the arrival of new players, the others screamed even louder, their voices cracking with fear and pain. Several were already pinned down—fangs sunk deep into their necks, blood spilling onto the pristine marble floor in dark, spreading pools.
The few groups that arrived together with Isolde and Leonel didn't hesitate.
They charged forward.
Weapons were raised. Spells were chanted. The promise of candy points and survival burned in their eyes.
The creatures of the dark, however, did not stand idle.
