"By the way," Leonel said, his tone casual but curious, "aren't we going to take on missions for this event?"
"No," Ren answered without hesitation.
Leonel blinked. "No?"
"No," Ren repeated. "By that time, most guilds will be broke. The event comes right after the Guild Wars, and they'll have already burned through most of their resources just trying to survive that. Potions, scrolls, repair fees, mercenaries—everything adds up." He paused. "Besides, the compensation for event missions is probably not worth the hassle."
Leonel hummed in agreement.
"Instead," Ren continued, "the prize money the game offers is far more enticing. Not to mention the other rewards we can get along the way."
"That makes sense," Leonel admitted. "But let's not choose the scariest server, alright? I don't want nightmares for life."
Ren glanced at the event page still open on his screen. "We'll decide where to go based on treasures."
"Treasures?"
