Every player felt like vomiting. The walls were made of what looked like brain matter, twitching and pulsing. Gigantic lumps of tissue lay everywhere—alive, beating, and full of something no one wanted to imagine. The air oozed with heat, moisture, and the wet sound of living flesh stretching and contracting.
Surprisingly, not everyone reacted with disgust. A handful of players were more curious than repulsed.
One of them was Dimitri.
As a man, he prided himself on having a stronger stomach than most. While the girls on the side were hunched over, gagging, he walked boldly toward the nearest lump of grotesque flesh.
