"Should we clear dungeons and get firstblood or something?" Leonel asked while lying flat on the grass, staring at the floating clouds. His tone was lazy, but there was a hint of desperation underneath.
Ren didn't answer right away. His fingers tapped idly against the staff resting beside him. "Getting firstblood in this short time won't cut it," he said at last, calm but certain. "The Guild War starts in just a few weeks. Unless we can rack up five firstbloods before then, it won't make any impact. There's also the problem of getting noticed—and targeted."
Leonel turned his head. "Targeted?"
Ren nodded. "Firstbloods drop rare items, and rare items draw greedy eyes. One wrong move, and we'll be hunted. It's not worth it."
Leonel puffed his cheeks and exhaled loudly through his nose. "So our options are limited?"
"For now," Ren said, glancing at his menu screen. "Everyone's focused on war preparations. That's where all the money and attention are."
