I closed the chat and this time I felt that contacting Fang wasn't a necessity anymore. The information I had gleaned from Wrayly was sufficient to confirm the threat, and I didn't need the Selvator's half-truths or hidden agendas muddying my focus.

If the Archlord was watching me, I needed to make sure his "eyes" were blinded before I delved into the deep lore of the old man.
"Let's go," I directed. I first lightened up the chariot's internal and external lanterns to the highest intensity to clear all the shadows and limit the places where an illusionist's spy could hide. Once the light was blindingly bright, I led my soulers to sweep the deck and the surrounding air cleanly.
