Ivan
'Alpha!'
'Alpha!'
'Alpha!'
Buzz.
Buzz.
Buzz.
My phone screeched in the console, texts and non-stop calls lighting up the screen like a rave. Voices blared in my head, drowning out the quiet from ten minutes ago.
"Ivan?" Nefra grabbed my arm, her face paling at the pain she felt through me.
"We need to pull over."
The pounding headache made it difficult to drive.
"Do you want me to grab that?" She pointed at my phone in the console.
"No, don't touch it!" I hissed as the headache grew. "Just need a minute."

"We're hours away from the territory. They shouldn't be getting through," Danny unbuckled, reaching between the seats to look into my eyes. "Everyone?"
