Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Alice stood in front of the sealed iron gate, her eyes fixed on the familiar symbol embedded at its center. The black-and-white emblem felt like a curse carved into steel, dragging memories she would rather bury back into the surface of her mind.

"It really is Umbrella Corporation," Alice said quietly.

Her voice was calm, but beneath it stirred anger that had never truly faded.

Jack stepped forward before anyone else could respond.

"Why not go in and take a look?"

He raised both hands slowly, palms facing outward. As his arms spread, the air itself seemed to respond. An invisible pressure surged forward, rippling like waves across the metal surface. With a deep, grinding roar, the sealed iron gate split open from the middle. Thick steel panels slid apart as if pulled by an unseen giant.

Darkness spilled out from inside.

Alice, Claire, Luther, and the others instinctively raised their flashlights. Beams of light pierced the shadows.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

The bright rays swept across the interior, illuminating the space bit by bit. What appeared before them was a vast, sterile hall—gigantic, white, and eerily spotless. The walls, ceiling, and floor were all the same uniform white, so clean that it felt unnatural, as though life itself had been erased.

Luther swallowed hard.

"Where did everyone go?" he muttered, scanning the hall nervously.

"What kind of place is this?"

Alice crouched down slowly, placing her palm against the floor. The cold surface vibrated faintly beneath her hand, a subtle mechanical hum traveling upward. Her eyes narrowed as realization dawned.

"I understand now," she said quietly.

"They're beneath our feet."

White Queen walked forward without hesitation. She pulled a small computer terminal from a nearby rack, dusting it off before activating the screen.

"What is that?" Claire asked.

"This is Umbrella's research archive," White Queen replied flatly.

"They continued experimenting on the bodies of survivors. The people you're looking for… are inside."

She handed the device to Claire.

Claire's fingers trembled slightly as she read. Her expression changed with every line of data.

"These are files on every survivor…" Her breath caught.

"Look—this is K-Mart."

"Bring them up," Alice said immediately, her tone leaving no room for hesitation.

Claire nodded and pressed several commands on the screen.

A deep mechanical hum echoed throughout the hall. White mist burst upward from the floor, rolling like fog across the ground. One by one, tall glass columns began rising from below, emerging like silent coffins lifted from the earth.

"So many people…" Luther gasped, eyes wide.

"They were raised like lab specimens," Alice said coldly. Anger flickered through her gaze like flame beneath ice.

"That's K-Mart!" Claire cried, pointing toward one of the glass columns. She ran forward without hesitation.

"Release her now," Alice ordered.

The cylindrical chamber rotated smoothly, opening at the base. K-Mart dropped downward—but before she could hit the floor, Jack caught her with ease.

K-Mart struggled violently in his arms, pushing and kicking with all her strength. Her eyes were unfocused, filled with fear and confusion. It was the same look Claire herself had once worn—memories wiped clean, identity reduced to instinct.

"It's okay, it's okay," Claire said urgently, rushing over.

"K-Mart, calm down. We're your friends."

"Remove the spider from her abdomen," Alice said sharply.

A red mechanical spider clung tightly to K-Mart's lower body, its thin metal legs embedded like hooks.

Claire handed the computer to Jack.

"Go. Release the others."

"Alright," Jack replied casually, already turning away.

"No need to look," Alice said with faint sarcasm.

"Jill and Teri are here too. Not disappointing at all."

Jack stopped and turned back to face her.

"You sound disappointed. Aren't you also here, Alice?"

Alice snorted coldly.

"What exactly is going on between you and Claire? She knows you deceived her, yet she still did… those things with you, like some clueless bystander."

Jack stepped closer, stopping directly in front of her.

"Because she's my woman."

"A joke?" Alice's voice sharpened.

"No one could be that stupid. Deceived by you, dragged into a pit, and still your woman? You expect me to believe that nonsense?"

Jack smiled faintly, unbothered.

"Why is it impossible?"

"It's absolutely impossible," Alice snapped.

"I won't allow this to happen."

Jack's lips curved upward.

"Are you jealous?"

"Don't flatter yourself," Alice said coldly, turning her gaze away.

"I wish I could kill you. Jealousy? That's a joke."

"You really think that?" Jack suddenly reached out, gripping Alice's chin firmly between his fingers, forcing her to meet his eyes.

Alice's gaze was icy.

"Move your hand. Don't touch me."

"We've already crossed that line," Jack said calmly.

"Why can't I touch you now?"

"I won't acknowledge it," Alice said through clenched teeth.

"I'll just think of it as being bitten by a dog."

"Still stubborn," Jack said softly.

"Alice, I told you—you'll be conquered by me sooner or later. I'll let you go for now. Time is on my side."

He released her and walked forward.

Alice followed reluctantly, her eyes catching on two glass columns smeared with dried blood.

"Found something interesting," Jack said, stopping in front of them.

"What happened here?" Alice frowned.

"Eaten," Jack replied.

"Not just killed."

"Eaten?" Alice's expression hardened.

"This is Umbrella territory. Who could do that?"

Jack gestured between himself and Alice.

"In this world, there are only two people whose cells have successfully integrated with the T-Virus—you and me. Everyone else is a half-finished product."

"Wesker," Alice said quietly.

"Correct," Jack nodded.

"He can maintain rationality, but the virus is constantly fighting for control of his body. If he consumes new human DNA, it helps him stabilize."

"I killed him before," Alice said coldly.

"Don't tell me he's still alive."

"T-Cells manifest differently," Jack continued.

"Speed and strength are basic traits. The real danger lies in special abilities."

"My Thought Power?" Alice scoffed.

"Thought Power, flight, teleportation—I have those," Jack said calmly.

"More abilities are still developing. Wesker's abilities are teleportation and an undying body."

Alice nodded slowly.

"I understand. Undying Body. So he's alive… and he's eating people here to gain DNA."

"Exactly," Jack said.

"And the people he wants most… are you. And me."

"Because our DNA is stronger," Alice said quietly.

"If he eats us," Jack continued, "he becomes a complete product instead of a half-finished one."

Alice smiled coldly.

"Then I'd like to see how he plans to eat me."

She walked toward a sealed door ahead.

The door slid open, revealing a long white corridor. On both sides stood parked helicopters, silent and ominous like sleeping beasts.

"Looks like we have to keep going," Jack said.

They advanced forward. At the end of the corridor stood another sealed door.

"He's hiding deep," Alice said.

"Not deep enough," Jack replied.

"The average person could never satisfy you. Only I can."

Alice froze instantly. Understanding struck—followed by shame and fury.

"Jack, I will kill you," she said coldly.

"Relax," Jack chuckled.

"I was joking. Look—the door's opening."

The heavy door began to slide open slowly.
